Cape Peninsula Tour from Cape Town
From $90.61
Experience the scenic beauty and natural landscapes of South Africa’s Cape Peninsula on this full-day tour from Cape Town. Enjoy the convenience of guided visits, as well as the independence of solo sightseeing and learn about this dynamic region from your friendly, knowledgeable guide. You’ll see seals in Hout Bay (with optional Buiker Island boat trip) and have time to wander the shops. You can explore the Cape Point Nature Reserve at your leisure, and check out  playful families of African Penguins in Simon’s Town. Your return trip to Cape Town even includes a stop at the colorful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
What to Expect
Your Cape Peninsula Tour from Cape Town kicks off with hotel pick-up and air-conditioned transportation towards picture-perfect Hout Bay. This destination, which sits halfway between Cape Town and Cape Point is a quiet fishing village that’s home to dozens of seals, small shops and lots of local charm. Enjoy leisure time to wander the streets and markets, or take an optional boat ride to Duiker Island (own expense) before making your way to Chapmans Peak.
You’ll enjoy a scenic ride through the southernmost edge of the Cape Peninsula as you make your way to the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Enjoy some free time here to tuck into a local lunch or wander the path to Cape Point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet (as per legend).
Make a stop at Simon’s Town on the False Bay Coast as you make your way back to Cape Town and opt to visit Boulder’s Beach (own expense) where you’ll find a friendly colony of African penguins wandering the sandy shores. Afterwards, drive through Fish Hoek and Muizenberg, the onto Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Take some time to explore this diverse ecosystem at the foot of Table Mountain and enjoy the beauty of the Cape Floral Region that’s proudly displayed at this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Your tour ends with drop-off at your Cape Town hotel.

A jam packed full days experience

The tour was prompt and collected us from our hotel on time. Our guide was Eileen who was an older lady and chatty. The tour took in some spectacular scenery and we visited some amazing sights. The minibus was ok to each place but Eileen...More

It sure is beautiful, but isn't it mostly 'having been there'?

I wouldn't say it it is worth goingto if you are far from the place. We stopped to watch the penguisn, that was really nice.

Amazing trip

The views are simply breathtaking. The stops like at Boulders can be rather short; so be mindful of the time of departures of the tour. Have a good conversation with the guide to get cool tips, making the tour unique and full of surprises
