      Lots of different stops.
Very good tour. Saw several different areas making it a diverse tour. Guide was very friendly. Group was small, so allowed for more interaction.

Not enough time at the Falls!!
The scenic isle drive and the Falls were fantastic!! However, It was very confusing and unorganized trying to figure out which bus to get on. They made no effort to seat couples together when multiple singles were filling seats for a 5 hour day. The tour guide was difficult to understand. I was also very disappointed that more time was spent at the copper museum and chocolate factory leaving only a few minutes at the Falls. We were unable to explore the top or stairs and barely had time to walk straight to the Falls and back.

The Top View Always The Best View
When visiting a large city we always take advantage of the Hop On Hop Off bus tours. It gives you a feel of the area, chance to see where you want to return to visit and also just to experience the feel of the city. We purchased our tickets online, downloaded to phone - all easy - asked for recommendation from hotel where was best place to find parking and then get on at a stop. Parking was easy - finding the closest stop was not. But we got a great walk in before we finally found stop. Raymond was our tour guide and he gave a great 1.5 hour commentary. Kudos to the driver on the tight turns on narrow streets filled with cars. Tour was worth the price and always recommend doing.

Not all it was advertised to be!
Found the stop at the chocolates store to be a waste of time. There was no candy making demonstration, you could either buy chocolate from the store or ice cream from the mini take out cafe. There was not enough time to take the cable car up to the top of the falls and make the return trip prior to the site closing.

      Beautiful with the trees changing
Our guide was knowledgeable about every place we stopped. Everything was beautiful and the bus was comfortable. Was fairly close to where our ship was ported.

A great excursion - worth the money
Great trip. Really worth it. Waterfall is spectacular. However tight on time to walk to the top. Chocolate shop okay. Ice cream shop fantastic. Medium ice cream was too big for me as they dip the soft ice cream in Belgian chocolate and it was quite thick. But it was delicious. Copper workshop really fascinating. The Basilica at Sainte Anne de Beaupre was absolutely beautiful We loved this trip. Gary our guide was very very informative. Kept the commentary going for the whole trip.

Half day trip of outer Quebec
Very knowledgeable, perfect amount of time at each place. Loved each stop. Really appreciated the driver calling ahead so that we were not at the stop with a bunch of other buses.

Wonderful tour and time well spent
Marcel was an excellent driver AND tour guide. He made sure there was the right amount of time at each stop. Marcel adjusted the order of stops to take advantage of the spectacular morning weather. We enjoyed the beautiful Montmorency Falls first and chose to walk up some of the steps overlooking the Falls. Beautiful rainbows appeared at mid-day. We were surprised and delighted with the stop at the Albert Giles copper museum. One of the owners (now run by the 5 daughters of the founder) demonstrated the craft. We then wandered about to admire the intricate works by the late founder as well as the current descendant owners. I bought a lovely necklace/earring set designed by Sophie, a third-generation niece. The finale for us was the visit to St. Anne deBeaupre, the church where my late mother-in-law had visited. It was wonderful to visit this beautiful church with intricate copper doors designed by Giles. Thank you, Marcel, for a well conducted tour.

Started off looking like a disaster but improved over time
Unknown to us this was the day of the Quebec marathon, so things were somewhat chaotic in the city. However, being one of the largest tour operators in the area you would have thought Unitours would have know and, more importantly, contacted people with reservations. They were quick enough to charge my credit card but failed to mention that the departure location was changed to about a mile away! So, when no bus was to be seen and the place full of runners, police and security guards we started to panic. We were at the designated place 20 minutes ahead of time but not until we enquired at the tourist office we told of the change in plan and directed where to walk. We finally arrived at the new location and saw about half a dozen busses but none marked with any kind of signage. We asked one driver and he pointed to a blue bus. That driver pointed to a red bus and that guide scanned our ticket and told us we were too late. We kept asking but he had no record of our reservation. He then contacted the office who waved some kind of magic wand and put us on another bus. Total chaos. Not the slightest sign of any kind of organization. Nobody knew what was going on. When the bus finally left, 0ver 30 minutes late, it took another 30 minutes to travel one block. OK, not the bus companies fault but with some kind of planning they could have picked a better location. So now an hour late leaving the city we were rather rushed through the various stops. The only thing that salvaged a one rating was that the driver knew his stuff and did a good job guiding is through the various locations. Would have rather spent more time in the Basilica than the 15 minutes we were given (allowing for walking a restroom stops). So, a really bad start for which I blame the company and a pretty good trip for which I praise the driver/guide. PS. Having a driver also act as guide is a significant safety hazard. One should not talk on the phone and drive so why make your drivers talk. Too cheap to hire guides I expect. Not a good company.

      Wonderful guide
Relaxing and informative. Yves did a wonderful job of explaining the scenery, the history, the architecture and wildlife as we drove, and he did it with tasteful humor. The stops were well planned and enjoyable. The basilica was amazing and surrounded by beautiful trees in full color. At the falls there was enough time for those who wished to ride the trolley car. Yves made the trip very special and I appreciated his wealth of local knowledge and lore. Highly recommend this tour

      Well planned and executed
These are the top two sights around Quebec City and it makes sense to combine them into a half-day excursion. The falls are actually taller than Niagara and easy to enjoy up close. The basilica is a short visit around the grounds or inside and worth a stop.

      This is a don't-miss tour!
This tour was so much better than I had anticipated. The places we visited were interesting but the very best part was our driver/guide, Francois. He was engaging, entertaining and educational. The Ste-Anne-de Beaupre Basilica was stunning. The copper factory was most interesting. The Montmorency Falls were beautiful. And who can go wrong with an ice cream/chocolate stop. The two decker bus was clean and comfortable. We got to see countryside and neighborhoods outside of the walled city. Plus a tour of the Island of Orleans was very pleasant.

      Tourists were treated with disrespect
We started this tour off on the with a real challenge. We arrived about 20 minutes early at the designated meeting place … there was no one there. We asked a security guard nearby who directed us to stand nearby. Somehow we missed the tour bus and guide. At precisely 2 minutes after the designated arrival time, we received a phone call from Unitours telling us we had missed the bus and had to take a cab to the next stop on the tour. We are not sure why they could not have called us a minute or two earlier so that we could have made the bus. We were glad to finally join the tour but we left wondering about why a tour company would treat visitors to Quebec City so rudely. The tour visited some interesting places but we were disappointed. The guide was also the bus driver. He drove and talked most of the way … many people on the bus just talked over him.

A great way for transportation to Montmorency Falls. It is the Blue Line bus and you can reserve ahead. We booked for the 10:45AM. The two decker blue Bus was at intersection by Tourist Center in Old Quebec on Rue St. Anne. It was only about 15 minute ride to the Falls. We had time to walk the lower promenade, take cable car to top, walk to bridge over the falls, stop for lunch at the Manoir Manor Restaurant and Terrace, return on cable car then catch the Blue Line Bus at 2:00PM (14:00) for return to the city. Arriving early was great as it got crowded later in day. The Blue Line bus was perfect. Additionally, it was a beautiful sunshine day for enjoying these fantastic waterfalls. We had plenty of time to explore the falls. Highly recommend the Blue Line Bus.
The Bus Driver was excellent, too. We left on time and he returned on time for for leaving the Falls.

Smooth transfer to and from the falls.
Price includes entrance to the park.
I paid for the cable car as I didn’t fancy all the stairs in the heat! It was around $15 for a one way cable car ticket.
The bus left at exactly 10:45 so be there promptly. There are other time slots during the day too.
It left the falls at 12:45 promptly too.
At the falls, I would recommend going on the boardwalk trail to the left of the main one that goes towards the stairs, it’s less busy and you get a closer view of the falls.

Horrible and dangerous ride from Quebec city to Falls.. We loaded onto bus.. upstairs in the bus it was easily 110 degrees.. no air con dicioning and no opened windows. Driver assured that once the engine was started the air conditioning would kick in which was not true. We sat in that dangerously hot bus drenched in sweat until we arrived. I asked the driver if the bus had air conditioning .. he said... it is supposed to.. I don't know what is going on... so we took an uber back to the fairmont.. only 21 dollars for uber. The torturous bus ride was 105 dollars. What a waste.. couldn't hear anything driver was saying.. save your money, your sanity and possibly your life and take an Uber.

We were 15 mins early for the bus. However, the bus did not turn up. We were given no information by the staff who were at the bus stop except the bus had been and gone (which it had not). We were waiting with several other tourists who were going on the same trip. The staff were really rude and unhelpful and told us all to get a refund. Got an Uber to the falls and back - which was a lot cheaper than this bus!!

The power of the water is awesome and the sound of the falls amazing.

It only consisted of a shuttle to and from the Falls. The driver gave no commentary and English was his 2nd language. He tried to answer our questions.
