- LeahSydney0100Bike tour to Montmorency FallsThis tour was great. Bike shop easy to find, staff very helpful. The bike tracks to Montmorency were mostly flat so the cycling was fairly easy. Not many road crossings and they were all at traffic lights and supervised by our guide. Our guide Benoit was informative and friendly. I would recommend this to anybody who enjoys cycling.
- kelleypie00Don't Miss This Tour-It is GreatWe booked this tour through our Chase Travel and it was a wonderful experience. The tour began at 9 a.m. and the meeting place at a Bike shop was an easy walk from our hotel that was in Old Quebec. Our guide was Paul and he was excellent. Our group was only 4, with 2 of us on E bikes and the other 2 on regular bikes. The bike trails in Quebec are amazing I wish we had trails like this in the area we live in in Texas. The scenery was wonderful and truly the bike trail to Montmorency Falls was not really hilly at all. The E bike users did use assist some but not all of the time. Once to the Falls we took the cable car up to the top which was also a great experience. It was not terribly crowded the day we were they and the weather was wonderful. The falls are amazing. We walked across the suspension bridge to the other side of the falls also. Our tour guide gave us good history information not only about the falls but other information about Quebec City. We throughly enjoyed this tour and it was a great way to get some activity in to offset the wonderful food we had been eating in Quebec City. On the way back to town our tour guide Paul also took us to a couple of places for some more history. I recommend this tour to all ages, don't let the thought of riding 19 miles keep you from doing this. Get an E bike if you are concerned you cannot keep up with the group. You can use the assist if you like and if you want to. This tour has it all! Don't miss it.
- davidhF9019GO00A Trip You Won't Soon Forget! Our experience with this tour was very good. We chose it because of its high ratings and touring via bike is often a great way to see a city. The distance of the tour, however, was not stated in its description and we regrettably failed to ask. This is a 20+ mile ride and for those casual riders like us we suggest you opt for the more comfortable e-bikes. The bicycles we were assigned were probably expensive and smooth shifting but their seats were very uncomfortable and are best suited for use with padded biker shorts or some sort of slip-on pad. Thankfully, the entire path was paved and mainly flat making for easy peddling. The "guided" part of the tour included a few somewhat interesting venues on the way to the Falls. The Falls themselves, at the halfway point of the tour, was fabulous and fun to explore. With this information in hand I highly recommend this tour.
- P492QCjohnm00Great. Paul is awesomePaul is great! Great combo of riding and history. Great views. All around great choice for getting a tour.
- Culture5674288203900Bike RentalWe had a one day stop in Quebec on an ocean cruise. We had rented city bikes to do a 4 hour ride to the falls on our own. Unfortunately the day was extremely windy. We stopped in to the bike shop to explain that we would have to cancel due to high winds. Marc was very helpful and suggested that we could to it with e-bikes. Having never really ridden e-bikes he gave us thorough instructions and explained map and directions. We had a wonderful ride (bike trail the whole way) and the falls were spectacular.
- kyrar66700Make sure to get E BikeThe tour guide was great, forgot his name. However, me and my mom opted for regular bikes, not e-bikes (which the e bike was an extra 25 per person). While the ride itself was mostly flat, the pace was extremely fast, because everyone else in our group had e-bikes. There were times we were so far behind we couldnt even see the guide. We didnt want to slow down the group, so we managed to keep up the best we could, but for 16 miles you can only bike so fast. The rest of our group basically had the bike do the work for them! If you do the tour I recommend the e-bikes, but the tour guide didnt say at the beginning that we would be going at an e bike pace, so we assumed we would be totally fine as we bike quite often.
- msl195400Great half day bicycle tour.Great experience. We took our own bicycles but bikes provided to others in the group were good. Pedal assist and conventional geared bikes were available. This is an out and back tour. Our guide, a local quebecois, provided a lot of historic background along the ride. Apart from a short stretch under the main highway the scenery was great. Montmorency Falls we’re beautiful, even in the Fall when we visited. I understand they are more spectacular in the spring. We did this ride the first day of our three day stay in the area and it was a great start.
- pamo20700Great Ride to the FallsPaul was our guide to the falls on a beautiful fall day. Two us rented e-bikes and 2 rented regular bikes. Careful care was taken to make certain that we were outfitted correctly for our ride although my breaks were squeaky and my husband's bike was creaky. They were solid bikes but definitely needed a bit of adjusting. The ride itself was very doable and Paul took rider experience into account as he set the pace. The falls were spectacular and we definitely had enough time there to enjoy the experience. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and our time at the falls.
- 942jodyw00Best ever rainy day bike tourOur guide, Paul, provided an amazing tour of a beautiful, historic city! Despite an hour of rainy riding, we enjoyed a delightful ride with the best guide ever. Special thanks to Paul for coming in to help when our planned guide did not show up. The Echo Sports staff was great and the equipment outstanding. Thank you for one of the highlights of our Quebec City vacation.
- 516tarynp00Fantastic fun and great information with beautiful views! The bikes were great and the guide was such a nice guy and super informative. I am so glad we did this as it is a great way to learn about the city. 100% recommend.

- Mobile0099447717500Great bike ride to fallsExcellent !! We especially enjoyed our guide. He was most helpful and attentive to our questions and needs.
- L5748BLmartinb00Worth it.Paul was our Guide and gave us Great knowledge of the history of Quebec on our journey around the city.
- Michelle S00Beautiful bike rideLoved the bike ride to/from the falls. The falls were so beautiful! Pierre/tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly!
- amandaSD43300Flexible and Friendly Bike Rentals In Quebec CityWe had a fabulous 2 hours biking along the St. Lawrence River in Quebec City. The staff at Echo Sports were kind and patient as they fitted my daughters for their bikes. Very flexible about what time we needed to be back- and stayed out an extra hour to have lunch. Definitely recommend renting from Echo Sports- next time our youngest will be a bit older and we will do one of the guided tours. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My husband and I rented bikes from this shop. The shop is right on the bike path that runs through Quebec City. We rode to the falls from the shop (12.5 miles) and it was very convenient to rent them here. The bikes were in great shape. The service was very friendly and informative. They sold us tram tickets that were a couple dollars cheaper than buying them at the falls and it allowed us to bypass the tram line which was a great plus! We have no complaints!

I was very happy with my tour with Denis the guide leading us. Denis gave some great information including giving sound advice taking the ferry across to Levis for only 7 dollars. I also liked the staff as they were so helpful with getting my bike setup. Would highly recommend this tour!

Thank you for your comment! The cycling path on Levis's side offers the best view of Quebec city and the St-Lawrence river.

My husband and I rented bikes for 4/5 hours and rode along the bike trail to the bridge. We then crossed the bridge and rode down the other side of the river to the ferry. It was a wonderful day out, stopping at some lovely cafes and parks along the river. The staff that rented us the bikes could not be more helpful. This is a must for anyone visiting Quebec.

My spouse and I rented bikes from Marc at Echo Sports on Thursday, July 12th to take to Montmorency Falls. While we did get lost (thank goodness for Google Maps), Marc had given us clear instructions for arriving there, and there were plenty of signs along the way, too. It's difficult to overstate what a nice guy Marc is; because we got lost, we called to let him know that we would be a bit late and not make our four-hour window. He told us to simply be back by a certain time, and to my surprise, he did not bill us anything extra for being late - he understood completely. The bikes were in tip-top shape and just a blast to ride; terrific value for the money. Thank you, Marc!

We rented bikes twice from this location, and found the staff really helpful and nice. They helped us select bikes and fit our equipment and gave good advice on where to ride. The rates were reasonable. The only downside is that, to exit or enter, you have to roll the bikes down and back up a staircase next to a busy street, and it's difficult to maneuver without a boarded ramp on the staircase.

The bikes don't have a whole lot of power - so if you're trekking up and down the hills in Plains of Abraham Park plan on doing a little WORK! Still, great rate for in-town ride, and amazed that I could make the bike small enough for my short legs!

Madame,
Who was the employe that gave you your bike? Have you told the employe that you wanted to go uphill? We have special bikes with more power for the hills. Yes we can fit every size.
Merci!

We had a great experience renting bikes with Echo Sports just on the river in Quebec. We took the ferry across the river and road down the bike path to Levis -- about 10 kilometers. We had a great lunch at O'Ravito Cafe. Croissant sandwiches. The owner, Odette, likes all her customers to use their French. We then road back up and got the ferry and were back at Echo Sports in 4 hours. The bikes were great and the service was charming. We could not recommend Echo Sports and this bike ride more. Do it.

To start, the man at the counter in the shop was friendly and welcoming! He got us set up with two road bikes, helmets, and a bike lock. He gave us a detailed map of where to ride, and stops to make along the way. We rode across the bridge to Lévis, and made a stop at the brewery he recommended right next to the ferry dock. Great food and beer! The whole ride was safe and we followed a bike path the majority of the time. The ride goes through a quiet neighborhood in Lévis which is scenic, as well. We took the one way ferry back to the shop, and had a great day overall! Something to note: the ferry took longer to board than we thought, and we ended up being 15 minutes late for our return. We gave the shop a call on our way, and they were very kind in letting us return them a bit late!
