We had a fun day, after the first 2 stops we were wondering where the wine was.
The first stop is a chocolate factory, 2nd is nougat, but then we went for cider and wine at the last 2 stops. Probably worked out to about 1 full drink each.
Tour guide was friendly, the drive over to the island is very scenic. If you don't have a car I reccomend this tour, if you do, then I would reccomend just driving and saving your money (although it was reasonably priced).

The tour of the island was one of the best tours we did on our trip to the Quebec city. Our tour guide Peter was saw nice and was so much knowledgeable about the island. He took us to best places were they make home made chocolates, nougats, cider and the wine. The wine yard which we went to taste was superb and the daughter of the owner was so much welcoming and accommodating, she mad us taste 4 different types of wines and explained us the process. We enjoyed the place a lot and we will definitely come again.

We visited four different local producers and they were all very high quality, starting with chocolate, then nougat, then cider, and finally wine. Whenever I go on food tours I almost never buy anything. But these were all so delicious I took away souvenirs from almost every visit. I especially loved the incredible nougat.

Our very warm tour guide Celine explained everything equally in both French and English. The bus was comfortable and offered gorgeous views of autumn in Quebec, with even a cute sneak peek of Les Chutes-Montmorency

Our driver was excellent and full of good information, relayed in both fluent English and French. The stops were nice but the samples given at the places were comically small. You are not getting tipsy on this trip unless you purchase extra bottles and I recommend you eat before you go. Bring A LOT of cash or a credit card with you as you will likely be buying at every stop.

Bus was stiflingly hot and there was no water provided. Two of the older people on the tour were so hot and dehydrated that I was worried they might collapse from heat and by the third stop, they wouldn't even get off the bus by the third stop. The four tastings were nothing special. They were basically like the free samples you'd get at a duty free shop in the airport. The chocolate "tasting" was literally the driver/guide bringing a tray of chocolates outside the shop and offering one to each of us as we stood thirsty and sweating by the road, after which we went inside to get ice cream cones. No real "food" was offered -- just sticky candy, a chocolate, and a few swallows of wine and cider. Only four stops and no sightseeing stops. The only redeeming factor was that the island is beautiful, the driver's narration was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history of the island.

Peter is great. We learned a lot about Île d'Orléans, not just about the food and drink. Peter was an American who's now lived in Quebec for a couple of decades. So he was able to focus on the ways in which the island (and Quebec in general) differ from the way Americans think and live.

This isn't a traditional "food tour". Definitely eat lunch before you go and plan to eat dinner afterward. We had two food stops. At one we tasted an amazing maple chocolate. At the other, various kinds of nougat. Then there were two drink stops: one for cider and one for wine.

Loved our half a day trip to the island with Jeff as our driver and tour guide. Jeff was great! I knew I wanted to drive around the island but didn’t want to rent a car to get there. This was a great way to get there. We visited five different places. We tasted and purchased at most of the stops. It was fun to get home and taste our purchases as it reminded us of our visit to this island across from Quebec City. We still have a bottle of Creme de Cassis, a black current alcoholic drink to enjoy soon maybe over ice cream and a jar of onion confit on a burger! Great souvenirs!

Our guide Peter was excellent. He was pleasant, funny and knowledgeable about areas on the island. He was always concerned for the comfort and safety of all his passengers. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour. Stops at the winery and chocolate store were great too

Our tour operator was very nice and enjoyable. But we waited for late arrivals and were delayed by locals on the island so we returned an hour late. Also samples were very small and more about purchasing products than sampling. Would have preferred to do this on our own and check out more of the island independently.

Tour was excellent & our guide was very knowledgeable & info was informative. Great stops showcasing the isle’s goods - nougat, cider, wine, chocolate. Smaller sized tour which was nice; done in both English & French which was a bit distracting but OK fit those of us trying to improve our French
