We totally enjoyed the Old Quebec on foot. Our guide Jocelyn was amazing. She had information which was filled with her own experiences as a Quebecan, which made the whole tour more worthwhile. She took the greatest efforts to make sure we were comfortable at all stops with space to sit, share an absorb all the information. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our queries with relevant facts and figures.

What a great way to spend a couple of hours to understand the city you are visiting.
This was a very interesting tour with great insights from our guide.
She was great taking us to little areas with no others around.
Being this time of year we were the only ones on the tours so it was a mini private tour which made it more special.
Definitely a must if you are in Quebec for a short stay.

Are you debating whether or not you should pay for a guided tour of Quebec City? Take the tour. Our family of four (including two teenagers) signed up with Tours Voir Quebec and went on a two hour Grand Tour with Robert V as our guide. We learned tons about Quebec City as Robert pointed out styles of architecture and took us into Notre-Dame de Quebec Bascilica-Cathedral and Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Not only did we enjoy the actual tour, but we appreciated the rest of our stay in Quebec City even more because of the insights and history that we were made aware of through Robert.

We met our guide inside of the tourist information center just across from the Chateau Frontenac hotel. There was 32 of us total and fortunately there was 2 guides that split our group in half which made our walking tour much better for hearing our guide. Our guide was very friendly and informative. Your could really tell that she was very passionate and proud of her home. Our tour was scheduled for 2 hours but it was almost 3 hours when we finished just outside the entrance to the Funicular car station on the lower side of the old city. This was a very enjoyable way to see much of the old city and we learned a lot about their history. I highly recommend this walking tour as a great introduction to the Old City of Quebec.

The tour advertises that the starting point is an “easy walk” from the pier. That is not at all true. There was nobody at the pier to guide us, so we had to find our own way. The walk was about 8 city blocks, and involved a large number of steep stairs.

We barely got there on time, completely out of breath, and thankfully found the desk. They had our reservation, we got our stickers, and we went outside and miraculously found a guide (it was poorly organized to locate the guide for the tour, they were simply “right outside.”)

Once the drama was over, the tour itself was informative and fun. The walking portion of the tour was a fairly easy walk. There was plenty of time for questions, and the guide handily answered all of our queries.

Constructive feedback: the guide would often turn his head while addressing the group as he referred to a point of interest. This made it very difficult to hear him consistently. I found myself moving around the group quite a bit so I could hear what he had to say, as it was interesting and valuable.

Bonjour, we are sorry that you found it hard to reach our point of sale. Indeed, Quebec City is a hilly City. People coming from the port area can take the Funicular (an incline) to reach the upper part of the historical city, thus facilitating their way up. All our tours start right in front of the tourist information, once the client has checked in at our point of sale. We appose stickers on our clients to help our guides find everybody. Our guides all wear the city's license around their neck, with our company's logo on it. We are glad that you enjoyed the tour. Thank you!

We had a great tour with Guy. There were only about 8 people in our tour so it was easy to hear him and follow him around. The tour was informative and well laid out throughout the city.

When you book a "walking tour", you expect to cover a bit of territory, but our guide simply took us around a very tight local area, and we were stopping for 15 minutes every 10 minutes. OK, we learned a bit, but it wasn't what we'd expected, so we had to cover the rest of the old city on our own. Loved Quebec, but not this tour.

The guide, Clarice? was excellent. She lives in the area and her knowledge and enthusiasm was wonderful. The tour was well paced and she showed pictures at various points to illustrate the history of an area. I would have given the tour 5 stars except for the fact that from where our cruise ship was docked it was a long uphill walk and we were quite tired by the time we located the information building.

Our tour guide was Robert Simard. He was wonderful. He knows so much about Quebec city and its history. He made the tour a total experience. I lived in Quebec City for 3 years and I found out that there were a lot of things that I didn't know. Even in the snow and cold, I would highly suggest to book a walking tour. It was my husband's first time in this beautiful city and the tour is still the highlight of our vacation.

Clarisse was awesome, especially dealing with a larger group than normal because another trip guide could not make it. She has so much personality and we learned so much!
