About
To begin your tour, your friendly local guide will meet you outside St-Viateur Bagel. For your first tasty snack, you'll try one of Montreal's famous fresh bagels, a staple of the city's cuisine.
Next, you'll head to your second food stop to sample Quebec's most iconic dish, poutine. This Canadian delicacy of french fries topped with gravy and cheese curds is a must-try while in Canada.
Afterward, you'll take a break at Jeanne-Mance Park, located at the edge of Mont Royal, to learn about Montreal’s history and have some time to digest your first two stops.
The tour continues through Mile End to Schwartz's Deli, one of Montreal’s most famous restaurants. Here, you'll savor a Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich before heading to the final stop.
To conclude the tour, you'll indulge in a sweet dessert, the perfect way to wrap up a food tour. By the end, your tour will finish, and your stomach will be fully satisfied!

- R806VGjeffreyd0 contributionsAmazing Montreal Night TourThe key to this tour is the knowledge of our tour guide, Mustafa. He was amazingly informative and took us to all the right spots. The detail about the history of Montreal was amazing!Written June 22, 2024
- Margaret T0 contributionsAmazing tourThe tour was well organized, communication prior to the tour was excellent and our guide was extraordinary! We had plenty of time at each stop. Historical and geographic information was given.Written June 17, 2024
- Connector611721523190 contributionsTour was disappointing and not good value for moneyOur tour was on 25 May and we paid 300+ dollars each for this tour, which was actually only two of us. The guide was just like a driver who dropped us off at 3 places - Mount Royal, Norte Dame and the river cruise - and then we did pretty much self-guided tour. The whole tour was very different to the itinerary description and badly organised and boring, most of time was spent on the road. A lot of key attractions in the old Montreal should have been covered as part of the guided tour, but we didn’t have the opportunity to visit and needed to go back and revisit in our own time. As a result, I asked for a 50% partial refund.Written May 27, 2024
- Ambassador4902240 contributionsTour of Montreal and boat rideThe tour guide was excellent. We enjoyed all of the sites. However, we booked a private tour and then was notified that others would be joining. We do expect a refund of some sort due to the fact that we paid for the private tour. Thanks.Written May 22, 2024
- samckenna0 contributionsEducational and enjoyableGuide very knowledgeable and impressed us on his knowledge of Montréal past and present. So surprised of the size of Montreal too.Written May 4, 2024
