Andre F. Is one f the best guides you will ever have. Engaging, humorous, energetic, with an incredible amount of knowledge of Montreal’s history as well as US and European history. A+

An excellent three hours in the company of our entertaining and extremely knowledgeable guide Sarah M from Guidatour, a local who knows where all the bodies are buried (metaphorically)! A lot of history, and some meaningful insights into recent Quebecois culture politics. Fantastic.

Our guide Sarah was fabulous. She did a wonderful job of sharing the history and beauty of Montreal in entertaining and interesting ways.

We did both the East and West Tour on the same day. Our guide Pierre T. did a fantastic job. Very knowledgeable of both the history and architecture of Old Town Montreal and spent a few minutes pointing out some wonderful restaurants, for which he gets no kick-backs. I would highly recommend the tour if you have time to do both the morning and the afternoon to see both sides of historical Montreal.

Thunderstorms and a squall warning did not deter Guidatour from moving ahead with a walking tour. We called and spoke with a person who insisted the weather had cleared and the tour would not be cancelled. Pouring rain and thunder continued for another hour from the start time. We did not feel safe and inquired about a refund but were told that cancellations had to be 24 hours in advance. It was clear that the tour should have been cancelled due to safety concerns for their employee and customers. Guidatour refers to themselves as flexible and available. It seems that they should have been flexible on their refund policy in the middle of a thunderstorm.

Sarah was a fantastic guide making history come alive as we toured both the east end and west end of old Montreal. We enjoyed a beautiful day with a small group of mixed international travelers on this English speaking tour.

We took both the east tour with Thomas as our guide and the west tour with Sarah while visiting Montreal with our young teenage grandchildren. The tours were informative and educational and we enjoyed them immensely. Although it did tire out the teenagers. Good value and a great way to learn more about the city and its history.

The tour was good with lots of historical perspective. However it is supposed to be a walking tour and I thought we saw very few buildings or areas over the 90min period. Would have been nice to get a better flavour of the city, which I was looking for

We took a tour of Old Montreal Town! It was very beautiful ! Our tour guide, Felicity, was great and we felt like we got to learn a lot about the history of Montreal from her!

We had the great pleasure of experiencing a private walking tour of Le Plateau & Mile End with Pierre. It exceeded our expectations in every way. We wanted to get a taste of the history and culture of the neighbourhood and Pierre did at outstanding job at providing just that. He is knowledgeable and we felt like he catered to our specific needs. We got an intimate view of the past and present in a well paced stroll that was fun and informative. We would highly recommend Pierre and would readily select another tour with Guidatour again.

Was a very cool trip. I took the east side of Montreal trip yesterday and am doing the west side today. Carol the guide was very knowledgeable and told the group a lot of cool things about Montreal. I give tours at a historic fort in the US and I can’t imagine doing one with all the people and automobiles Carol had to contend with. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our tour of East Old Montréal, with Sébastien. He was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable and we learned a lot we wouldn't have on our own. We especially appreciated his recommendation for lunch at Jardin Nelson, which was incredible- the food ambiance and jazz music was perfect. The tour is perfect for those who want to know a bit about montreal history, and was reasonably priced.

Andre was s knowledgeable and congenial guide. We all enjoyed his company, sense of humor, and knowledge of Montreal. I have some walking difficulties and Andre was attentive to them. The tour was mostly flat, though, so the walking was easy. Even my brother, not a history buff, enjoyed the tour. It made a good introduction to our trip to Montreal.

Very well informed guides on both East and West tours (Robert & Sandy). Tour operator was flexible when my GPS brought me to the wrong side of Montreal for the 11 am morning’s meeting spot and allowed me to complete the 1:30 pm ‘second half’ and then slip into the 4 pm group. Great info on architecture, history, economy and where to find good food and drink. Thank you 🙏

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of le vieux port de Montreal. Good combination of history, architecture, story, and local places to visit. Our guide Pierre was entertaining and knowledgeable.
