About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Adrianne W0 contributionsGreat experienceMike was outstanding, knowledgeable and fun. We highly recommend the e-bike tour because there are two sections of extreme hills. I would not have been able to bike up those two hills but the e-bike made it possible. I’ve had 7 knee surgeries and was still able to have a great time. I only wish they had more choices of bikes that are for short or small women’sWritten September 4, 2024
- karendN973CF0 contributionsMike on a bike is the way to tour! The bike tour was wonderful - a bit of history and lots of interesting facts were shared. Our guide was Mike and he was absolutely fantastic- funny, clever, well informed and a bike lover. Everyone should be lucky enough to be guided by Mike💙!Written September 4, 2024
- KCS0 contributionsGreat bikes and service. Two wheels gets you to parts of the city you’d not see otherwiseI had a fab day seeing Montreal on two wheels and a chance to explore parts I would not have seen otherwise. Along the canal, river side and island The trails are flat and safe (away from traffic) and would really suggest this as an activity while here.Written August 30, 2024

- Michael D0 contributionsWonderful view of the city with a great tour guideGreat bikes and an even better guide. Mike was superb. Easy spot to walk to from our hotel, right in the main tourist district. Bikes were easy to use and even better after the tour we could use the bike till 6pm. We got to see a lot of montreal and then we biked by ourselves to the top of Mt royal. Mike knew a ton about montreal and had a good path for us. The city is very bikeable. Oh plus we got a free drink and snack, not sure if that is normal. Some improvements I would suggest. 1) give better clothing guidance. At the shop it was fairly warm, but the rivers and bridges were much cooler. Bring a windbreaker. 2) did not like the mixed language tour. It's a big waste of time and frustrating to repeat everything twice. Ask to see if they have an all English or all French tour.Written August 21, 2024
- T2081JCbobw0 contributionsI Made It Out AliveAs probably the weakest of the group, I was very comfortable with the ride. Truth be told, most were on electric, we weren't. Not many hills. Didn't crash. Mike was as good a guide as one could ask. Going through the neighborhoods taught us a lot about the history and culture. If you can, ask for Mike as the tour guide. He was delightful and imparted so much knowledge along with putting safety first.Written August 17, 2024
- E1277QNlolaa0 contributionsGreat intro to Montreal! Our tour guide, Mike, was friendly and knowledgeable. He control provide interesting facts about Montreal and helped us see various examples of how the city has changed over time. We would highly recommend this tour.Written August 14, 2024
- Olya K0 contributionsBest Way to See the CitySuch a great way to see the city and learn about its history and architecture while doing something fun outdoors together. Mike was our tour guide and he was exceptional - very knowledgeable, focused on safety and made sure to engage every member of the group. The staff at the shop were super friendly and helpful. The options to keep bikes thru rest of the day after the tour was a nice feature too - we ended up biking to Mt Royale and exploring the massive park on bikes.Written August 3, 2024
- jeffdX3866AF0 contributionsGreat service!Great service! Everyone there so was courteous, friendly and helpful! Especially the guys getting the bikes for us and taking our returns. They showed us how to use the bikes, made sure they were set up , and kept asking if we needed a water bottle. The guide, Pasquale, was superb and very knowledgeable! He really knew his stuff!Written July 29, 2024
- Jet653393337350 contributionsMy experienceIt was great! The trail was awesome and biking on the F1 track was a new and exiting experience. One of the bikes we were using did break but they sent some out to fix the bike and we were back to biking In 8 minutesWritten July 28, 2024
- davidpP5601CN0 contributionsHandling issues with good customer serviceI want to commend this company for addressing the issues we had with our bikes. My chain and my son's chain had multiple problems during our rental, and we raised this concern with the company. They promptly offered us a full refund without further inquiry. We appreciate their acknowledgement that we were not provided with the full biking experience. Despite the inconvenience, we still enjoyed biking around Montreal – it's a fantastic city for biking.Written July 27, 2024

- Elcray110 contributionsGreat intro to MontrealFantastic 3hr introduction to Montreal with Michael. Lots of information & great cycle route around downtown Montreal. Easy pace & a nice stop for a bagel mid tour. Were able to keep the bike for the afternoon & Michael recommended a good route for us. Loved it!Written July 12, 2024
- 611CMA0 contributionsPerfect 3 hour architectural and historical perspective of Montreal...Terrific experience w our very knowledgeable tour guide Mike who not only provided insight into the architecture as well as the history of Montreal. Highly recommended for all levels of biking experience...half time spent pedaling/half architecture & historical perspective...perfect 3 hour tour!Written July 5, 2024
- Honda20030 contributionsRecommendedI did the 3 hour Architecture bike tour with Mike who was an excellent guide. Extremely knowledgeable about the history and buildings of Montreal and very good on keeping everyone safe. There were nine of us on the tour (3 French speakers and 6 English). I took an e-bike which isn't at all necessary for the 3 hours tour (not a great distance and apart from one hill which we walked up) was pancake-flat. A bonus for using this company was the facility to retain the bike until 6pm. I used all the time and this is where the e-bike proved to be the correct choice. I covered a lot of miles (& still had plenty of juice left) and was glad of the power assist for the climb up Mont Royal. Personally I would have liked an extra hour on the architecture of Montreal which is top notch. For anyone who is keen on renovated buildings I can highy recommend coffee in the former Royal Bank of Canada (360 Rue St Jacques) and lunch in the superb art deco restaurant Le9 in the Eaton Centre. A veritable treat.Written July 1, 2024

Booked in advance (inc 2 x eBikes). Group of about 12 headed off on afternoon tour. Mike was a great cycle guide with masses of local knowledge / insight and good humour. Good relaxed pace plus we stopped for bagels & cheese. We accepted the offer to keep bikes until end of day and had a tour of the Expo Island returning by Jacques Cartier Bridge (highly recommended).

My family of six did the biking and eating tour. Our guide Rene, was excellent. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We traveled to different parts of the city that we never would have seen on our own. Sampled four different Montreal food items. My entire family enjoyed this experience.
I also want to note that one of my family members had a conflict with the original time we booked the tour. I called to change the time and the staff worked very hard to find a time that worked for us. They were very accommodating.
I would definitely book with them again.

This is the best way to see and experience Montreal, especially if the weather is wonderful, as it was for our tour. Every city should have a bicycle tour like this. Our guide, Michael Theriault, was great. He was entertaining and encyclopedic and worth the price of admission by himself. We learned things about Montreal that we couldn't have learned anywhere else. The entire staff at the bicycle shop was also great, as were the bicycles themselves.
