What a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours in Montreal. Although you could see the main murals just by walking up the street, the tour really brings them to life, with stories about their creation, the background of the artists and what the different imagery means. The tour also shows you the hidden gems, down alleyways and behind buildings which you would not find or even notice yourself. Tiny little figurines of sad looking men perched above drainpipes, cat paw impressions in the bricks of buildings and a host of other wonderful things - if you want to see them all you need to do the tour! Our guide Danny was fantastic - passionate, knowledgeable and very entertaining. This tour is a must-do for any art-loving Montreal visitor.

Had an incredible walking tour with Gabriella exploring the Montreal street art along St. Laurent in Montreal. This is a very cool in depth and informative discovery of Montreal Graffiti art and offered a deeper understanding of the street art culture and the Montreal mural festival. I had the chance to learn more about the history of Montreal, appreciate art installations along the way, and get tips about different places and activities. The price of the tour already includes tickets to the Notre Dame Basilica, a snack in Chinatown and a cup of tea (or coffe), so I think it was a reasonable price, from what I saw in my research for tours in Montreal. The guide, Gabriela, was knowledgeable and friendly. I plan to do this tour again with a friend in the future.

The mural tour was recommended to us by friends. So glad they gave us this suggestion. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Montreal. Our guide, Melanie, was well informed about the artists, the various forms of street art, and the annual mural festival. We learned so much over the two hours and saw a diversity of artistic styles and techniques. And the murals are striking and each beautiful in its own way.

The Beyond the Basilica walking tour was a great way to see Montreal! It was 2.5 hours, so great for me as I didn’t expect to be in Montreal and had limited time. The tour had a little bit of everything. It started with a short history lesson in the square outside the Basilica. Then we proceeded into the Basilica, which was truly stunning. A benefit of the tour was direct entry with no lines. We proceeded outside and stopped by two sculptures where we learned more history. Then walked through the city to see some of the beautiful architecture and learned more about the history of the city. We experienced the underground tunnels, saw a section of the Berlin wall, and the convention center. Then headed to China, where the tour included a snack. We proceeded to walk further though the city and saw a thrift store that is a local institution and lots of great murals. The tour ended with a coffee or tea at a local establishment. Our super friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable tour guide, Melanie, gave both a hand out with recommendations on things to do in the city (def saving that for my next trip!) and personalized recommendations. The tour worked in two bathroom stops and a handful of indoor places. It was a nice day, but I can see where this would be super helpful on a cold day or day with not so great weather. Really great your overall! I think anyone who appreciates architecture, art, or history would enjoy it.

I had a great afternoon with Pascoal. We toured loads of great murals. Pascoal was very knowledgable about his subject matter and it was really interesting to have the art work put in context. Pascoal was happy to answer all questions and had lots of amusing stories about the area.

The Montreal bike tour was very memorable. The biking wasn't challenging, but it still felt like a satisfying exercise. Thom was our guide, and taught us a TON about the city.

I coordinated a small group for youth and was led by Pascoal. Pascoal is dynamic, FUNNY and very knowledgeable about the murals we saw. We had a great time and definitely see Saint Laurent a lot differently than I used to. Even though it was a bit cold and rainy (mid October) we totally enjoyed ourselves. Great tour!
