      Great Tour
The farmhouse tour was really great and memorable since I have read all the books and seen the movies. So interesting to learn more about the author. The bus ride had beautiful scenery too. The grounds were gorgeous.

      Ok
The home Green Gables was the highlight. The rest of the tour was pretty much a stop at A local business with extremely high prices. Not enough local crafts

      Lovely Drive and Visit
We took this tour of Prince Edward Island and Anne of Green Gables and loved our time. The your was a nice way to see parts of the island and gave us an overview of life there. The Green Gables area has been well set up, and the home is beautifully preserved. It was lovely to walk through and see the way the home was. The visitor centre was spacious and airy with good displays about the author and her stories. We enjoyed our first Beaver Tail with Raspberry Cordial at the on site Cafe. This is a great way to get an overview and see highlights of Prince Edward Island when on a cruise.

      Tours-R-Us
We went on a tour with Paul, the owner of Tours-R-Us. Paul has been a resident most of his life and is very knowledgeable about the area. He tailored our tour to the stops that we wanted. It was a private and very enjoyable experience! He recommended Water Prince Corner Shop restaurant for lobster rolls and they did not disappoint! Very good lobster rolls and great service! I recommend Paul and Tours-R-Us if you port in Charlottetown! He had us back in plenty of time to have dinner and then get back to our ship! Give him a call! 902-384-5070

Best tour this week thanks to a terrific tour guide
Joan was very warm and professional in her presentation. The time at locations was sufficient and she shared appropriate information about a wide variety of subjects. The island is beautiful and we are glad we were able to see its beauty.

      Beautiful place
Good tour, but we definitely needed more than 50 minutes at the green gables site, and could’ve avoided the stop at the gift shop/tasting stop.

      Wonderful!
We loved this tour! The guide, Maura Lee, was very personable and had a great sense of humor. She entertained us the entire trip. This island is beautiful and looks quite different from the other provinces we have visited so far. We greatly enjoyed seeing it and learning about it. We learned much about lobster fishing, which we knew nothing about, and it was super interesting. We can highly recommend this trip as a great way to spend 4 hours and experience Prince Edward Island!

      Wonderful Tour
It was great to see the house that inspired Anne of Green Gables. We enjoyed learning about the lobster and mussel fishing industry.

      Tour of p.e.I.
The guide needed to use a microphone in the van as it was difficult for all to hear. Seats were not too comfortable and tour was just ok.

      PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND MUST DO
Had a fun time visiting the home site of Lucy Maud Montgomery. The history there is well preserved and displayed. Enjoyed seeing how she lived. Our tour guide did an excellent job telling us about the island as we traveled on the bus and we made some good stops with views. We really enjoyed the trip. Well worth booking.

Excellent tour in every respect. Relaxing and informative.
Excellent tour of the city of Charlottetown and the lovely home of Green Gables. Superb tour guide who was knowledgeable and entertaining. Great, newer, modern coach with comfortable seats and a bathroom on board. The time allowed for each of several stop was just right; we were neither rushed nor bored. The visit to the farm was lovely. All the facilities were well maintained and enjoyable. Parks Canada personnel were on hand to explain the history of the farm and the writer. Glad we chose this tour.

      Good tour
Joan and Nevin were a good guide and driver. Joan was knowledgeable , sharing lots of local history. Plenty of time at Anne of Green Gables Would have liked more time to enjoy the beauty of the sea shore. The jam store was a nice ending.

I believe that this tour gave a good overview of the city and some of the suburbs. The driver was entertaining and humorous time well spent. The bus was older, and while the bus was quaint, it was somewhat uncomfortable, because the seats were not necessarily attached . Other than this, I think it was a trip worth taking.

Bought this for my parents as the tours on our cruise were all sold out. They loved it. It was a great trip around the popular areas and then when the tour was over they were able to walk to many places they saw on the tour and wanted to explore closer. It was super easily located right off the cruise ship too. My mother is a tough critic and had nothing but great things to say, and the price was a third of what the cruise ship was charging.

A nice inexpensive tour of the Charlottetown area. We had a great driver (Dean) with a sense of humour. Yappy people on the top deck made it hard to hear the commentary. But I would recommend this, especially for a ship excursion.

Very disappointing tour. We were in Charlottetown for several days & wanted a quick overview of the town & its history. We got neither. What we did get was a crowded old bus with no A/C & windows that would not open. It was stifling. The tour had slight mention of the history of Charlottetown, & the tour didn't go through very much of the old historic part of the city. We could tell that the other passengers were disappointed. I think a walking tour of the old section would have been better. We can't recommend this tour.

The Greyline tour (supposed to be 90 minutes)we took yesterday was a waste of money ($25/person. The commentary was disjointed and unhelpful at giving us newcomers to Charleston much of an orientation. Skip the bus tour and do one of the historic walks - we had particular good luck with BULLDOG. About the only positive is that the driver ended the tour about 15 minutes early

We are sorry you had an unsatisfactory experience. You posted your review under Prince Edward Tours in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (PE) Canada and it appears as if the tour you reviewed was taken in Charleston, South Carolina. We are not a Grayline provider, our City Highlights Tour is US$20 and it is 60 minutes. We wish you happier experiences in the future. Prince Edward Tours.

We took the tour first day into our holidays and learned a good deal about the city and where we wanted to explore more! Our driver was very informative and provided ideas also of where to eat in the upcoming week. The bus does need a little upkeep though

This was a perfect tour! Our tour guide in the double deck was informative, interactive and funny! We saw so many hi-lights and then had enough time to go back to the sites we wanted to see up close before getting back on the cruise ship.

It's ok. Nothing great and not horrible.

Arrived in Charlottetown and found the tour easily enough. Our bus was equipped with a bathroom for convenance. After 50 minutes the tour should have been done but they stretched it for 10 more boring minutes to make the hour it was advertised as being.

Didn't learn much. After it was over we walked around the same places we would have without the tour but by then the shops were closed.

Nice overview of Charlottetown but too much time spent driving around the college and thru residential neighborhoods. Can’t imagine people appreciate a double decker bus driving by their houses. One drive by downtown area & wish time spent to get off & then get back on for closer look at downtown. Nice recomm on place for lunch and had Prince Edward Island mussels. Weather turned rainy and went back to cruise terminal.

Very scenic on a sunny day. We found it very walkable and found some great shops at the Peaks Quay which is very close to the cruise port.
There is also some fantastic shops right inside the terminal. A lot of locally made items at reasonable prices. Highly recommend you take a peak if you have time.
