Just what we needed!
This tour includes a great selection with some exceptional views from their wineries! Was very impressed that two of the wineries were certified sustainable and used hand picking harvesting methods! Really makes you appreciate the wine craft these wineries use! The tastings were great and I can honestly say these were the nicest wineries I've been to! Would highly recommend Wine Tours Toronto! Great transportation and service all the way! Lunch at the Inn was delicious and stunning! All in all a wonderful day!

Girls day
Super fun, there's no food at lunch so you can catch a quick buzz in the morning and after lunch you're sober so it's up to you how you want to do the other 2 tours, the sample get smaller but you can buy flights and souvenirs. We met some fun people of all ages. Will the driver was great and super patient haha and he knows it ;) it was a great time and would do again.

An absolutely wonderful experience
Our experience during our tour was nothing short of a wonderful experience, from our driver through every single one of the members of the wineries, whom both welcomed us and educated us about the great wines the niagara region has to offer. I highly recommend the experience.

Best Bachelorette party ever!
I booked a private full-day wine tour for my bachelorette party, and honestly had an incredible experience from inquiry to getting back home very happy and very full of wine last night. Lou helped me book everything, carried forward our dietary restrictions to the restaurant, and answered all of my questions within about a day. On the day, our driver was William, who texted me when he arrived and let me know where he was parked so we could easily locate him. They came prepared with pastries, and even brought some GF, V, nut-free cookies for my friends with dairy and nut allergies! There was a cute little surprise for me, too, in the form of a little wine journal to use throughout the tastings. The one snag we met was that the A/C was leaking from heavy rains the day before, but William was very apologetic, and tried to dry the affected seats. We were a smaller group, so we didn't need those seats and everything worked out totally fine. It didn't impact the trip at all. William was a great driver; a few of us had anxiety about the drive due to car accidents in the past, but once we got moving, we felt really safe. All 4 wineries were gorgeous, and, in my opinion, a bit off the beaten path when you think of where most people go for wine tours in Ontario. They let us try at least 4 wines each, per tasting, plus offered to let us try more. Two of the tastings also included cheese plates with gourmet cheeses only available there (so good!) and one of the tastings was a really cool blind tasting where we got to smell & guess the notes in the wine. We learned a lot! All of our tour guides, and William, were really friendly and tolerated all of our requests for photos with a smile, which we all very much appreciated! There was tons of time built in to enjoy patios and not feel in a huge rush. Lunch was also fantastic. Everything was very fresh. We ate so much focaccia bread! They also brought us a yummy late harvest wine for dessert on the house to celebrate my bachelorette. So sweet (the gesture and the wine). We just had such a great day and I came home feeling super happy and loved. Thank you for a great bachelorette party!

Father’s Day excursion
Had a great time tasting new wine with my dad for Father’s Day. He came in from Mont-Trembant without much knowledge of Ontario wines. Enjoyed sampling different wines and getting tours at the wineries. Really lived London Born where we had a blind wine tasting and cheese pairing experience. Definitely a highlight. Wish it had been warmer though. It was great not having to think about the driving aspect. And really loved the Father’s Day brunch at the Inn. Thank you for the experience, will do it again with guests in the future.

Bachelorette Wine Tour
My sisters and I decided to plan a tasteful day of touring vineyards for my step mother's bachelorette. From start to finish it was a great experience. A great selection if options were available and we decided to do 4 vineyards and a stop for lunch. Our driver William arrived the morning of with coffee and pastries, which is an especially love touch. We enjoyed four very different, unique and lovely vineyards and ate lunch at a beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious! Our final stop was at London Born and I have to say it was incredible! The wines were tasted in black wine glasses to really allow each individual the opportunity to experience the flavors without any information in the wine. The wines were incredible and the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing with a London vibe. I would highly recommend using Toronto Wine Tours, thanks for a great day!

3 of the 4 wineries had wonderful and knowledgeable staff
The wine tour was very well planned, organised and conducted. Two wineries near and quite different from each other, followed by lunch, then the last two wineries further afield with different grapes and wines. It was a great wine tasting tour. The only hiccup was the staff at the second winery. The enthusiastic young man at Flat Rock Cellars, the first winery on the tour, made us feel we were on the start of a special journey. However, the staff at Megalomaniac Wines basically behaved like waiting staff with little knowledge, at least to our group. She was very informative to two other customers, but said very little to our group of 5. She merely served us what we selected from the tasting menu. The lovely chap at Malivoire Wines made up for that very disappointing second winery; he knew and felt for his wines as only someone who really loves wine would. And the warm, cheerful and exuberant lady at London Born Wines ended the day for us in the best way by making the wine tasting a game; she even threw in a cheese board. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about Canadian wines that don't export beyond North America. The wines are excellent. The only caveat - tell Megalomaniac Wines to choose their wine tasting staff more carefully. Or skip Megalomaniac Wines. I am sure there are many other equally good wineries that can replace it.

Best Way to Celebrate a Birthday - Wine Tour
As I went back on forth on what I wanted to do for my birthday, I made a very last minute decision to celebrate with some of my closest friends on a wine tour. Most of the regular tours only had a few seats left, so that would not work for us. Lou and the team at Toronto Wine Tours went above and beyond to set up a private wine tour with 6 days notice. I was originally going to join one of the regular tours, but explained to Lou that it was my birthday celebration and before long we had planned out a private tour for myself and 10 friends to visit the megalomaniac Winery and to have lunch at the Inn on Twenty. William, our driver arrived to pick us up at my home about 20 minutes early, ready to take us on the journey. Unfortunately not everyone had arrived, but he patiently waited until our scheduled departure time. Before we embarked, William offered us coffee, tea and a box of delicious pastries. We had a pretty fun drive down to the Megalomaniac Winery. where we had a 4 tastings and a round of home grown riesling. Chloe, our hostess also took us on a tour of the cellar and upper deck before we departed for lunch. We had the three course winemakers lunch at the Inn. I had the snapper option and it was delicious. For dessert, I brought a vegan cake due to allergies. The weather was hot and by the fine we arrived at the Inn. the icing had melted. Fortunately, the pastry chef at the Inn graciously fixed it. I could not thank them enough. Our hostess was also fantastic. The best part was that no one had to drive because he hired Toronto Wine Tours to drive us. If you have never done a wine tour with Toronto Wine Tours, I suggest you do one this summer.

Great Wine Tour - 10/10 would recommend
The tour was really great. Our guide was awesome, and provided us with coffee and pastries upon boarding the bus. The drive was smooth, and the vineyards we visited were very great! I discovered some new wines and I will be sure to spread the word to my friends. The lunch was great, and we got to meet four other lovely people who we went on the tour with! Although I would have loved to visit at least 2 more wineries, I appreciated the selection we had.

Top Rated Trip to the Wine Country
Mackenzie was extraordinary tour guide. My sister and I had an unbelievable day touring three wine vineyards. The wines we tasted were very good and I even liked some of the red wines. The lunch stop was perfect and the gardens there were very delightful. Mackenzie is knowledgeable tour guide. Thank you for a marvelous time. Sincerely, Donna Garvey Cynthia Shafer

Great Private Wine Tour!
I arranged a private wine tour with Wine Tours Toronto to entertain some clients visiting from out of town. Lou was incredibly easy to work with and allowed me to customize the tour according to the wineries and restaurant I wanted us to visit. She also recommended the blind tasting at Big Head, which was a huge hit! They arrived on time (Dougall was lovely), were well-organized, easy to communicate with, and ultimately made the experience very enjoyable for all! I would absolutely book with them again and will recommend to anyone looking.

Don't waste your time with any other wine tour companies. WINE TOURS TORONTO IS THE BEST!! My fiancée and I went on the Niagara Wine Tour in 2016. We were so thrilled with it that we returned with another couple for a private tour on September 1, 2018. It was magnificent! The attention we received at the wineries was incredible, the lunch was fantastic, our driver was polite and well versed in a number of topics, and service was top notch. Thank you Wine Tours Toronto for wonderful time and a special memory. We'll be back next year with a third couple!
