Overview
Taste your way through Kensington Market, home to one of the most diverse food scenes in Toronto. Visitors are often overwhelmed by choice if exploring alone. Instead, join a guide and head straight to the area’s best eateries, where you skip notoriously long lines to sample at least 6 international cuisines—from Tibetan momos to Jamaican patties.
What to Expect
GUARTANTEED DEPARTURES:  Book with confidence that all scheduled tours are guaranteed with no minimum bookings required.

Discover the flavors of the world on this walking food tour in the most hip, unique and historic neighborhood in Toronto.

The tour includes:

Golden Patty:  Taste the Caribbean - Enjoy a Jamaican patty in coco bread
Fika:  Taste Europe - A Swedish favourite for those with a sweet tooth. Spiced morning bun
Tibet Cafe and Bar:  Taste Asia - Authentic Tibetan momos (dumplings), a traditional delicacy of Nepal.
Pow Wow Cafe:  Taste North America - Traditional Native (Indigenous) Frybread, Bannock
Jumbo Empanadas:  Taste South America - An indigenous encounter with a delicious Humita
Nu Bügel:  Taste Middle East - Have a bite into a smoked trout sandwich in a bagel which was rated one of the best sandwiches in Toronto.

Please note:  We have a great vegetarian option and our menu does not have any pork.  Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate guests with allergies to nuts, dairy, eggs or gluten.

After a brief roll call, you'll begin the trek to the first tasting. Over the next 2.5-3 hours, you'll be treated to stories about the neighborhood and the unique diversity of the food you'll enjoy.

UNBELIEVABLY great food tour!

To say that we were blown away would be a vast understatement. Not just a food tour, but a completely unique, interactive, informative historical trip through one of Toronto's most fascinating (and diverse!) neighbourhoods, with food being a beautiful, unifying feature. Not only was the...More

Don't miss this one!

We took a taxi to this one, the taxi let us out right in the middle of one neat place! If you like lots of little shops, food and interesting folks, then go here. We ate a little bit of all kinds of foods.

Jusep and his tour are AMAZING

This was one of the highlights of our holiday in Toronto, and to put that in context, it included an NBA game, NHL game and UFC231. Jusep is just brilliant. From the moment when we arrived and he gave us heated cushions to keep warm...More

Jolly Jusep is Great!

Jusep is a jovial, warm and attentive foodie tour guide. I was well fed and taken care of. I am a local Torontonian and I loved being introduced to new vendors in Kensington Market. I highly recommend this tour.

Ours lasted about 3 hours. We had one other couple with us and the weather was hot, so we tried to move along. It could last longer with more people, but the guide moved us along at a good pace at the restaurants.

I do not know if any options are gluten free. However, our guide who is the founder of Chopsticks + Forks, Jusep Sim, is concerned about any allergies and health concerns before the tour begins so that he could refine the... More
