First of all Niagara Falls are excellent, plenty of time to see the falls and enjoy lunch, with a stop at the Whirlpool and Niagara on the Lake town. The trip included the Hornblower boat ride (reviewed separately). However, I've not given 5 stars as there were two issues which spoiled the day. The first was the stop at a winery for some tastings of the local product. Quite average and I've been on much much better visits. Basically a tourist trap. I accept that this is the norm with coach trips but it could have been better. It also occurred on the return journey by which time everyone was flagging a little. The second issue was the return to Toronto itself. It was busy in Toronto, almost gridlocked. The tour company cannot be blamed for this but...over an hour after reaching Toronto we were still in the coach awaiting our hotel drop off. It would have been a lot better to have been offered a central drop off as an option. Our hotel was near the offices of the tour company and as such we were last to be picked up and last to be dropped off. It made for a very long day, mainly on a coach. Niagara Falls is quite a distance way from Toronto so do prepare for this.

1. To start with they said they would arrive between 8:10 and 8:25. They arrived at 8:45.
2. When we booked we were told we could pay with credit card. When the driver picked us up he said cash only (which we did not have - had to stop at an ATM).
3. We were told we could book our boat tour add-on later. When we arrived at the Falls we were told the boat tours were closed for the season.
4. Were in a van with 15 people for hours. No Covid-19 screening was done - although we all wore masks.
5. The driver was friendly and quite knowledgeable.
6. The winery tour and tasting was cancelled, we were told due to Covid-19. Surely there were other wineries we could have gone to. Instead we were taken to shop at Niagara On The Lake - a tourist town.
In conclusion: Niagara Falls are awesome but I would not take this tour company again.

The tour was just as described. It left a bit later than expected from the downtown square, but that did not seem to affect any activities later. We had 2 and a half hours at the falls, which is more than enough, even if doing the boat experience. Then some time at Niagara-on-the-Lake, and about half an hour at the winery. Nice tour.

Worst experience ever! I am a professional traveller and have been to 50 countries up yo date, but have never experienced such a bad customer service.
No hotel puck up/drop off as stated on the tour confirmation. I only found out 30mins before departure by calling an agent and had to take taxi and rush to the departure point.
No wifi on the bus as stated by operator.
Pakistani driver who spoke very poor English and could explain many things about the places we visited due to a language barrier.
He gave us 3,5 hours at the falls, when 2-2,5 hrs would be more than enough.
He did this on purpose when we later found out he didnt want to pay 20 CAD for the wine tasting which was stated complimentary on the tours itinerary.
I paid the price including the boat ride, however the company forgot to send me e-ticket, and I had to argue this with the driver in front of everyone. In the end, he got me a ticket, but did this as he was foung me a favour and every 5 mins for the rest of the tour he was asking me to leave him a positive feedback on social media.
Do not waste your money and ruin your trip by booking with a locsl operator King Tours! Please remember this name and try to avoid, nothing but dissapointment and embarassment.
I have requested a partial refund, but my request was declined.

Booked this through the concierge at our hotel in downtown Toronto, Price given was CAN $165 per person, managed to negotiate to CAN $155 to include boat ride tickets.
Got picked up at our hotel, maybe 20 minutes late but no worries, then went on a tour of the city collecting around another 12 people at different hotels. Didn't really get going until around 9;30.Navid the driver was very helpful and gave us some interesting points to look for, I think he fancies himself as the next Lewis Hamilton, as he certainly put his foot down hard.Stopped at various points along the way, Niagara on the lake for about 30 minutes and another couple of spots to take pictures. Arrived in Niagara to be told Navid didn't have any boat tickets and we had to get our own, thankfully we had not paid up front for them, so off we went to purchase our own tickets and get a nice ride into the falls. Managed to do a deal on the price of the trip due to no boat tickets. Spent about 3 hours or so around Niagara and got picked up and went to the Skylon tower and went up there for some fantastic views (cost CAN$20.) Headed back to Toronto around 4;30 ish. A good trip with some interesting sights. Navid was a great tour guide and even better driver who could be the next F1 world champion given the chance.

Family
My family and I embarked upon a Niagara tour from Toronto on July 20th. Kevin especially was so rude to me that I was left in disbelief. Wifi on the bus is advertised by the company on its website. It was a large attraction for my family as we were from out the country and did not have data plans on all of our phones. When we got on the bus, we asked the driver for the wifi passcode and he simply and plainly responded ‘I do not have it’ without any apology. I then called the company and spoke to Kevin who said that he would work on it. He sounded harassed but he did commit to figuring out a solution. He said he would call back. About half an hour later, I called again. The shock of my life is what Kevin said next, ‘stop harassing me about wifi wifi wifi! You’re going to Niagara, focus on Niagara and stop asking me about wifi. I can’t help you. I can give you your money back if you keep asking me for wifi’. This was an amenity that was advertised clearly on the website and he we so upset that I was asking out it. He had a thick Indian accent but I didn’t understand him. Finally, we stopped at a location and shockingly Kevin came on the bus and announced ‘who is asking for wifi?’ I put my hand up, my mother and two daughter sitting in my row. He said ‘I can’t help you. The best I can do is give you my phone’. He handed me his phone which did not provide a hotspot to my family and we needed use of our own phones not his. I handed the phone to the driver at the first stop as this solution did not suffice or help in any way. In the meanwhile, I was emailing someone else with the little signal I could get at stops. I was finally given a passcode to the bus’ wifi. Apparently it’s not routinely given out, though it’s routinely advertised.

No one in the service industry has ever spoken to me this way. The tour guide was quiet for the most part. His thick Indian accent prevented me from understanding him. I just continued with the day as my kids and mum and I already planned the day and I did not want to disappoint them.

What an awful customer service experience. So disrespectful and rude!

Completely false advertising, ripping people off for parts of the tour that are never delivered. There was no wine tasting, our driver's explanation was that it's because since covid the wineries have started charging money for visitors to come and do wine tasting. The pandemic has been going for over 2 years, why is WINE TASTING listed everywhere on the website still then? Also no wifi on the bus, extremely disappointed

Not a good experience at all. Only saving grace was Niagara Falls.

Booked the all inclusive tour that was CAD165, which included a winery visit and paid lunch.

No wifi on bus as advertised, the bus that brought us to Niagara was operated by another company. The tour guide, Eli, did not give good explanations on the places visited. The only seasonal points visited were the Whirpool and Smallest Wedding Chapel. There was no winery visit, we instead went to a 10 minute maple syrup tasting place?!? When I asked re this to the tour guide, he did not give a proper answer. I am sure the price of a winery visit and maple syrup tasting session are not the same!

The tickets for the boat ride were emailed but none for the lunch. When I asked the tour guide, Eli, about lunch once we reached the falls, he said no one told him about it so I have to figure my own lunch out. He said email King Tours for a refund for the lunch portion which is CAD35. I have emailed them twice after my trip with zero response.

Really disappointed. Avoid booking with this company as you all you are paying for is an overpriced bus ticket to the falls.

First, Eli works with another company not us. Looks like maybe you got on the wrong bus or Viator sent you to another company. It sounds to me like this is exactly what happened. Second, the booking was done through Viator not directly with us. Any refunds need to be communicated through Viator since they are the ones who took payment. The winery visit is a seasonal stop. It has not monetary value since it is free and anyone with a car can do it. The wineries are not open all year round.

On a positive, we got to the falls, and that is well worth it for sure, although Niagra Falls has over the years become quite tacky and very commercialised……but ultimately it’s a tourist hotspot

There is a fair amount that King Tours can do to improve their customers experience…..
1) Deliver what is advertised, free wi-fi, there was none
2) Wine tasting, did not happen, we tasted Maple Syrup !!
3) Niagra on the lake, lovely place….got 30 minutes (more time at the maple syrup place)
4) Drove straight past the Floral clock (no photo opportunity)
5) Biggest gripe was the price…..hotel sorted it (paid on the bus) we paid CAD 150 ea, now check the website prices, for what we had is CAD 113 ea….so book online, you will save, there is something going on there which didn’t make us comfortable, will leave that there.
Driver was quite knowledgeable, however ate breakfast on way down (did swerve a couple times) and FaceTimed and on phone on way back !!….heavy footed on the brake as well at times !!

We didn’t get what was promised. The website says free wifi on the bus and there was none. We were supposed to get a wine tasting that didn’t happen. The bus was not a luxury coach as we expected, but rather a larger van. We left late and at times on the road we reached speeds of 130 km in a 100 km area. The guide had no PA system so shouted at us from his drivers seat which was not pleasant, for those that could hear ( people in the back couldn’t hear). He gave misleading information about the pick up point and as a result two passengers got confused as to the pick up point ( not their fault, the passengers all agreed on that) and he asked passengers to help him look for them as he couldn’t remember what they looked like. There was also no planned itinerary, we never knew when the next stop was so we couldn’t plan on when to have lunch. We were dropped at a tourist trap for 20 minutes for no reason. We were mightily disappointed.
