We visited on Sunday 8th September 2024 at 11am, were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff, our host for the wine tasking was utterly brilliant. We enjoyed tasting all 4 different wines, of our choice might I add, and the charcuterie board was delicious. If you’re visiting Niagara/ Niagara on the Lake, this is a must do! Lovely Winery. A great small family run winery by two brothers. Amazing flavour from the wines due to the fact they use fresh barrels and stainless steel , this gives you the true taste of the grape rather than infusing from the likes of sherry/port/whiskey barrels.

This was a wonderful experience. We were not very familiar with the different wines - so they were explained to us. Our hostess was lovely and very knowledgeable. The wine, cheese, and desserts were all delicious. When we left we picked up a bottle of the ice wine to take home with us.

What a way to kick off our wine tour! Ralph was a fabulous guide. We really enjoyed the wine and all of the info he provided. He was very friendly and we loved his recommendations. Our favourite wine was the Emily, named after the winemakers daughter.

Great experience! Tori did an awesome job of explaining the different wines and their pairings. The wines, as well as the cheeses/meats were very nice and the winery is also beautiful. Would recommend!

Loved this tour! Greg was fantastic and funny. Would definitely recommend. Not a big red wine drinker but I liked all of the generous samples that were given to us.

My husband and I went away for the weekend and decided to stop by some wineries while we were out and about. As I was the DD for the day, I was happy to get out and see the country and have a fun day. I have been to Between the Lines before and had an AMAZING experience so I was excited to bring my husband along this time. Unfortunately our server (Brian) made our time miserable. When I asked for non-alcoholic options he said water and "why would you come to a winery and not drink, that's so stupid". He then made a point to come back to our table every couple of minutes and instead of asking my husband how his wine was, each time he asked me how my water was. He made further comments and things escalated from there to the point where I went to the vehicle to wait for my husband to finish. If we ever do decide to come back to the Niagara area I doubt BTL will be on our stop list.

My husband and I visited Between the Lines for the Classic Wine Tasting and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere of the tasting room was comfortable and welcoming, and our wine expert was interesting - taking the time to explain the history of the winery and the characteristics of the wines. We did not feel rushed at all. We have visited many Niagara on the Lake wineries over the years (large and small) and this was a really refreshing experience. And - put any snooty wine perceptions aside and try the canned sparkling wines. You won't be disappointed!

What a fantastic experience! We walked in without a reservation on a Tuesday afternoon and we were still able to get a tasting, since it was not too crowded. Brian went above and beyond to teach us about the wines in the region, as well as the wine production process, which we were happy to learn. Learned a lot and this really added to the experience and made us feel so welcome. Every wine was delicious and we purchased two bottles as well. Highly recommend!

The wines are great but Tracy was even better. Every wine we had she was very knowledgeable about. Would definitely recommend Tracy and Between the Lines.

During our 30th Anniversary, I had the chance to visit Between the Lines Winery and Ralf was absolutely awesome. The wine was delicious and his expertise was incredible, I had a great time and truly recommend this winery! Staff is attentive and friendly.

We joined the Decadent wine tasting and were thoroughly impressed by the experience. Despite a traffic delay, the friendly and funny staff quickly accommodated us. Each combination of wine and food was a delightful exploration of flavors. The ice wine changed my life forever lol. It was a fun, memorable and indulgent evening.

We were a group of five and had a wonderful tasting experience at Between-the-Lines with Shiven. He was informative, but also a lot of fun. He offered us a tasting of Merlot that wasn't on the list but was appreciated but the four of us who were drinking. This is the only winery in the area I found that offered a non-alchoholic wine. Shiven explained that it was something new and experimental but I enjoyed it enough to leave with a case of the cans! A big thank you to Shiven! We would definitely recommend a stop at Between-the-Lines.

We like to visit family owned businesses and support them any way that we can. 1) Did not get the rich history of a family owned winery. 2) The woman spent very little time with us, a party of 3 and more time with a bigger group of women. 3) On our last glass of wine, she poured the wine and instead of leaving bottle behind, she took it quickly away, like she did not trust us. Did not buy anything and quickly left after we finished our last glass of wine. Will not go back.

Paul kept us all laughing the entire time while providing great insight to each wine for our group. Thanks for the insight and the fun time we had.
