About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 33Carolita0 contributionsEnjoyed it overall.Very much enjoyed my tour in Halifax with Chris as the tour guide. I thought he did a great job with details all around town and watching for group safety guiding us all around the busy city. The only thing I felt was odd was that the segways didn’t have the attached bags for personal belongings & water for 2 hours. He mentioned not having water and if we wanted it, we could purchase along the way. In my opinion and appreciation, if water was to be included as part of the tour, the tour group should have provided it, even if it meant purchasing it at a stop for us as a remedy. I felt those bags for personal belongings should have been attached and guests not forced to leave items behind in a locked storage building.Written September 6, 2024

- 305traceyf0 contributionsFun tour, but…The staff were nice, the ride was fun, but unfortunately my husband’s headset didn’t work so he missed most of the guides descriptions of the sites and the city. We mentioned it more than once and she said the headsets were old and she forgot to bring spares and moved on.Written July 25, 2024
- Kevin N0 contributionsGreat way to see the city and learn a little history!Amazing morning touring around Halifax. This tour company is very professional and safety conscious. Before the tour starts they provide an excellent video covering the do’s and don’t of riding a Segway as well as some operational info. Next you head out for some short instructional training around the parking lot, then you’re off! My guide Mary was fantastic and provided constant commentary along the tour with both historical and current landmark info. I recommend the 10:30am tour as you get to stop at the Citadel when they change the guard and fire the 12:00 cannon!! I highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Mary!!Written July 19, 2024

- Chris H0 contributionsFirst time Segway convertsLauren our guide was clear and patient as we acclimatised to using a Segway for the first time. It was great fun and we gained confidence quickly. We are converted now and would happily do a segway to explore another new city. We really benefited from the earpiece so we could listen and enjoy Lauren's commentary as we manoeuvred around Halifax.Written September 28, 2023

We did the 3 hour tour with Kaylee and had an excellent time. Kaylee was so much fun and upbeat, obviously loves her city and told us much about various buildings, parks, graveyards and more. Highly recommend

Booking was easily done through the Trip Advisor app.
Upon arrival we were greater by our guide, Lauren, who promptly introduced herself and handed us some waivers. We then watched a short safety/how too video before stepping on the Segway's for a brief tutorial. I will say that the area where you learn how to actually drive the Segway can be a bit hectic with pedestrian traffic which can be intimidating.
Once everyone is situated you're off and rolling.
We did the 3 hour city tour which takes in most of the boardwalk, DT, Citadel and Public Garden area etc. Lauren provided an amusing commentary and historical facts as we traveled along.
While I can say that we had a great time some of the time it was a little daunting keeping up with the guide, especially on the down hill portion! Otherwise it was all good! I highly suggest downing this tour on your first day in Halifax so that you can get a lay of the land.

Within our group of 4, none of us had ever driven a Segway before. The ladies were patient, calm and worked diligently to ensure we felt safe before we took off on the route. Although there were times we felt nervous, they were very encouraging and were vigilant about making sure everything was okay during our tour. We enjoyed the times we got to get off and walk through the gardens. We really enjoyed our tour and would recommend this as a fun activity to do in Halifax.

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour - great way to see the city on a Segway. This was the first time for us and although intimidating at first, the Segway is very easy to learn and maneuver. You do need to be careful of pedestrians. A woman almost ran into me as she was walking with ear buds on and not looking up (but that is a hazard with anything). The tour guide was fantastic - fun and informative and she was careful to ensure that we were all comfortable and following in a safe manner. Would highly recommend. Bring some water with you as the tour is 2+ hours. Also, wear comfortable shoes (sneakers with comfortable soles). The legs do get a bit tired after standing for so long but there were 2 stops where we got off the Segway and stretched the legs.

So we had a few issues, pride parade closed a bunch of streets(saturday) so we needed to push the tour to next day, all good then i changed it to a monday when onsite saturday. These guys were great and even said we could come early to get ready as our time to leave was tight, unfortatly the airline bumped up our flight time and we could not go on the tour but they said they would refund my deposit.
Everyone was nice and i would recommend the scooters as a side adventure as well also by the segway operators.
Thanks
and Halifax is a great place we did 4 days and could have done way more.

This Segway tour was the highlight of our trip.
There were 6 in our group plus Lauren, our tour guide. We were all newbies. Our ages ranged between 50 - 60 (not the youngest group ). None of us had been on a Segway before. Plus we were not skiers, skaters, or had other hobbies that translated to this. So let’s just say we were a bit nervous and apprehensive.
It starts off with a 10 minute video you watched explaining what to do and what not to do. Then Lauren helped us one at a time learning how to step on, balance, and move back and forth. Afterwards you had 10 minutes to practice around the meeting place. Lauren then took us on a mini obstacle course to get us comfortable going over bumps, up hills, down hills, stopping and getting off and on.
Then off we went touring beautiful Halifax. Head phones were provided so she could communicate and helmets for safety.
The whole tour (including the training) was to be 3 hours but we got back about 20 minutes early. While that would be our only area for improvement (a little more time on the segways), we still had a blast! We stopped several times along the way to visit the gardens and other tourist sites so we were not riding non-stop.
We were all sad when it was over. When we first started off, we were very apprehensive but by the end we felt like we were pros. Doesn’t take too long until you get comfortable riding them.
Thanks again Lauren for a trip we’ll never forget!!
I’d highly recommend this trip to friends and family.

I have been on other Segway tours in Toronto and San Diego. There were 6 of us and I was the only one with experience. The training was thorough (most thorough I’ve ever seen) and provided everyone with generous opportunity to practice going over bumps and up/down hills. I really liked that they provided headsets so I never minded where I was in the group because I knew I’d be able to hear our guide, Morgan, no matter what. We travelled to many sites and it was a great way to see the city. We even parked our Segways and went for a bit of a walk in the Public Gardens (no vehicles allowed). Morgan was kind, supportive, and very patient . The only bit of improvement my friend and I thought would help is to have a bit more history to share. Everything seemed to be covered at a very high level and some deeper detail/info would have made it a 5 star experience for us. Do we regret the tour? No. Do we still recommend it? Yes!

My husband and I did the Halifax Segway tour with our guide, Morgan. She was AMAZING and we had a blast. If you're going to be in Halifax and want to see the city in a fun and informative way, this is your best option. Segways were in GREAT condition and we explored up and down without a glitch. So much to see and we came to love this little gem of a city. We think this company is top notch!

We had a very fun time on this tour! If you are worried about riding the segways for the first time, they provide some training before you head out. The tour guides were very kind and you get to explore some of the main parts of the city. We especially enjoyed the Victorian garden!

Hey everyone - you need to take this tour!
We are locals and as a family of six, always take a weekend to play 'tourist in our own town'. And Morgan, as our fearless leader, helped us get the hang of the Segways, and then proceeded to lead us in a fabulous 3-hour tour of the city - it was a lot of fun... and for those of you thinking you are too old to get on a Segway, we aged from 22 to 65 years of age. So go support this fun, local business and appreciate what we have at our doorstep! Morgan was a wonderful tour guide, and you will enjoy every minute! I highly recommend this experience!!!
