Very well organized charter. The weather was great for Vancouver. Pilot was very good too. Overall great experience.
The view was amazing and weather was great for Vancouver for this time of the year. Everyone was very professional. We really enjoyed our short flight around Vancouver downtown and harbour area. Seeing the city from the bird eye view was special.

    Co-pilot 👍🏻
I had originally booked for early morning 10.30 but my flight was postponed due to foggy weather, so I was rescheduled for 12.30. When we got to the plane the lovely pilot asked if anyone wanted to be co-pilot so I threw my hand up and got to go in the cockpit with him. Had a great view over the city and a great experience. 100% the best thing to do in Vancouver!

This was an awesome experience with the wife and part of my Christmas present to her. We had a super nice and friendly pilot and saw some amazing views of the city and water! I highly recommended!

    Thumbs down
Harbour air sent a text message “informing me that I had 4 minutes left to check in” I was there at 11:01 instead of 11, when they told me I was unable to get on my flight that left 25 minutes later, I had to pay again for the next flight, when asked why even send a text, they said to give me another chance , what chance Is 4 Minutes???, also , if they had made the signage more clear I wouldn’t have spent 10 minutes trying to figure out where to go and I would have been there at 10:50 however the signage was confusing and I got lost. Bad experience all around, the agent was incredibly frustrating and unkind aswell. The only thing they did was tell me they gave my seat away and I would need to pay again.. but don’t worry they’ll make me pay another 100$ instead of 120 . Other than that it was okay, the pilot was nice and the plane back was 30 mins delayed

Good, but an audio guide would have made it great!
This was my first time on a seaplane and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The view from the top is mesmerising - the city, the sea and the mountains look so very different! The only aspect I missed was the presence of an audio guide of sorts. A quick couple of seconds highlighting the important buildings, shores, marinas and parks. Overall, a must do in Vancouver

    Short trip But UNFORGETTABLE Viewing!!!
They are timely and the pilots are great! The only thing is the trip felt really short… less than 30 minutes but the view is breathtaking and one you’ll never regret. I was humbled by the experience. I’d only recommend a longer viewing time for the cost.

    Unconcerned attendant
I was ten min late due to my train being held up due to firemen having a rescue operation at the border. The attendant would not give me a discounted rate on another tour and was very unconcerned. She kept saying since I booked through a 3rd party; she could not help me. How unfortunate to penalize a guest.

    Views to die for
it was quite stunning 9so is the price but it is worth doing once, just for the fantastic views). Also the only way to get between Victoria and Vancouver in a reasonable time.

Great experience from start to finish
Had such a phenomenal experience! We went on my partner’s birthday - he’s an avgeek and had never been on a seaplane before. He was absolutely ecstatic throughout the ride, and for good reason! The views were incredible and our pilot, Sean, was outstanding. Loved everything about this and we’re hooked on seaplanes now!

    Stunning! Do it!
The views were simply breathtaking. The pilot was awesome. Most spectacular flight we've ever had. Incredible value for money. Got really close to the glaciers and mountains, saw bears and beautiful lakes. Id do it again in a heartbeat.

Seaplane Tour provider is nice, Tripadvisor is the disaster!
So the plane was perfect, a bit loud, but it was possible to take it. The Seaplane tour provider is perfect and will solve any issues precisely right now. And tripadvisor is a disaster. No support. No emails. No phone contacts - nothing. On the indicated phone call - there was no support. So if you make some mistakes during purchasing - you have no ability to contact tripadvisor. Keep that in mind. Once again - tripadvisor is the disaster!

Up and down in the seaplane, enjoying the scenery through the entire trip and extra time in Ganges Harbour.
We opted for the "Mail Run Tour" as that seemed to provide the most trips up and down so we could experience lots of take offs and landings on the water. Having watched the planes take off and land from the observation dock, it seemed like that would be the most fun. Fortunately, the take offs and landings were uneventful. For us the tour was a bit of a misnomer as we did not carry any mail, but we certainly had commuters going from one island to another. It was funny to see some of the passengers just staring at their phone bored, while we were swiveling our head on all flights to take it all in. One person showed up with a hard hat, clearly on his way to a job site. Our tour was a single engine Cessna Grand Caravan EX, seating 9 with single pilot. This was not a sight-seeing tour, but more like a work trip with no narration of where we were or where we were going. (That's a different tour) We got a coffee and a small snack while waiting for the plane (see picture). Also available was more in the way of provisions at the departure lounge. (see picture) We flew to Salt Spring Island (Ganges Bay), to Maple Bay, then back to Salt Spring Island. At Salt Spring, we took a break and got lunch, had coffee at Salt Spring Coffee, went book shopping and then got back on the plane to return to Vancouver A word of caution, these planes are VFR (visual flight rules), which means pick your day to fly carefully as if the airport is socked in, no tour. Similarly, if a storm moved in very quickly, you might get stuck waiting for the weather to clear before you can fly back. The staff was very helpful with one of the passengers on the trip back to Vancouver who was quite infirm and needed help getting on and off the plane.
