About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Bex3130 contributionsTop bike trails in a stunning locationKeith was a brilliant guide who took us on mountain bike trails to suit both our biking needs & abilities. He was very knowledgeable of the area & very encouraging - he helped me conquer my fear of boardwalks!! We had such a great morning, felt happily exhausted afterwards & couldn’t recommend highly enough!Written August 14, 2024
- am20190 contributionsincredible half-day on the trails with grantDid an incredible half-day tour with Grant. He was able to adapt on the fly to our skill level and his knowledge of the local trail system is truly unmatched. The bikes, trail selection, and hospitality were incredible - we look forward to coming back to Whistler and doing another tour with Grant!Written June 10, 2024

- andreasr6380 contributionsGreat tour adapted to our skill levelAt first we were a bit hesitant because my girlfriend isn't a big mountainbiker yet and i didn't ride for a while too so we were not sure what to expect. But our guide Neil did a great job finding trails that match our level. We had the most fun on a bike for a long time riding technical as well as fast flowy trails through this beautiful landscape of whistler. We were also surprised what we were actually able to ride with the great bikes we got. Neil was a really skilled, friendly guy tha also had a lot of patience when we struggled and he was very knowledgeable about the trails and all of Whistler. He even gave us detailed descriptions about a series of tracks we can do in the bikepark. Thanks again for a great adventure Neil.Written September 10, 2019
- cpsdds0 contributionsHusband wife rideDid well picking trails that fit 2 very different skill levels. Weather was perfect, trails were great, bikes were top notch.Written May 31, 2019
- Twg030 contributionsPerfect day on the bike!My 14 y.o. son & I hired bikes/ equipment & guide to show us the best of the Whistler trails. We were restricted on time & equipment travelling from Australia. The bikes supplied by Ryan @ Coastal Culture (Santa Cruz's) were perfect for the trails. Jenna was our expert local guide who really knew the area, the trails & was very competent rider, guide, instructor & photographer! She gauged our speed & capabilities quickly & was always encouraging & challenged us beyond our perceived limits! We covered around 30km & travelled through some beautiful scenery - A brilliant day - would highly recommend it!Written July 13, 2016
- SamDF_nz0 contributionsGreat way to discover Whistler trailsSo first: the only reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is that the bike I rode was a size too small for me. That said, the Bronson was still an awesome rig to ride, and I have no doubt that if they'd had an XL in stock, I would not have been able to leave without it! My guide (Grant) was very knowledgeable about the local trails and an excellent guide, sorting me with a helmet and pedals for the ride. The trails were a lot of fun and a good mix. Finishing off with a beer at the Whistler Brewing Company and meeting the crew at Chromag Bikes was the perfect way to end the afternoon. Highly recommended.Written July 15, 2015
- Bill M0 contributionsWhistler Mountain Biking - Guides and Bike RentalI met the guys from Whistler Bike Guide at a Mountain Bike event in Whistler earlier this year. The led our group on some awesome trails that combined demanding climbs and technical descents. The were a fun group and definitely knew their way around the Whistler trails. They were able to gauge our skill and fitness to ensure we got the most out of our rides. 4 days, 4 great sets of trails. I returned this last weekend to Whistler and again call them up but this time for bike rental for myself and my wife (we had a local to ride with so no guide was required). The Bronsons we rented were in great shape and the perfect bike for Whistler Trail riding. Cost was right, bike was good. A bit of a hassle to pick-up and drop-off bikes in Function Junction but overall good value vs renting in the village.Written July 2, 2015
- Heidi W0 contributionsA great way to travel around WhistlerThe Valley Trail system is fabulous. It connects all the communities, lakes and village together without having to access the highway much at all. It is lighted in most areas. Two bike experiences; mountain and cruiser. Unless you plan on going into the dirt and 'riding', get a cruiser...way nicer on the bum!Written September 18, 2014
- Amber V0 contributionsExcellent Biking Experience in WhistlerWe booked a half day biking tour with Steve at Whistler Bike Guide. Wow! What an experience, we would never have known to explore some of the trails we were on. Steve allowed us to push our limits, take in some great views, and was very knowledgeable about the area. Great way to get introduced to trail options around Whistler Village and learn about the biking community in the area. Thanks again Steve!Written July 1, 2014
- Andrea L0 contributionsQuality bikes with quality service and quality rides! We contacted Whistler Bike Guide directly to pre-book half day guided rides during our brief stay in Whistler. We could not have been more fortunate in our decision to approach them! Our family party meant we needed one guide for two less experienced members and a different guide (and ride) for the other three members, they had no problem in accommodating this request. The Ellsworth bikes used were all top quality and immaculately maintained; the guides were perfect: friendly, knowledgeable and instrumental in ensuring we accessed Whistler's myriad of trails; and the service from Christian in the shop could not have been better, even to the point where he accommodated awkward Brits who apparently ride with their brakes connected the wrong way round! No problem to Chris, who swapped them round for our rides without even being asked. We brought our own shoes and pedals, which were fitted to the bikes, and used the helmets provided by the shop, which were kept very clean and fitted well. In addition to the guided rides, we also hired three of the bikes for a half day to investigate some of the local trails the day before our guided rides and received some great advice from Chris about where to ride. In summary, we had fantastic rides on some great trails and received exceptional service; we would highly recommend Whistler Bike Guide to anyone visiting Whistler who wants to sample the mountain biking on offer.Written August 27, 2012
