The perfect couples weekend kick off!
We booked a custom tour for a group of 15 couples who came to Whistler from all over North America for a couples retreat. It was the perfect way to kick off our weekend together. The food was outstanding, our guides were SO accommodating and supportive and full of local tips and recommendations, and each venue was a real treat. We had such fun and everyone got a chance to mingle with everyone else. The Champagne sabering was a big hit. The owners were very helpful and flexible in the organizing and meeting all our specific needs and requests. Absolutely highly recommend this way to explore Whistler village dining establishments and to have an awesome evening with friends.

      Great fun
Our tour consisted of five stops at various restaurants, each offering amazing food and a unique dining experience. The overall atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurants were exceptional. From cozy and intimate settings to vibrant and lively atmospheres, each stop had its own charm. It was evident that the establishments took great care in creating a memorable dining experience for their guests. The quality of service at each restaurant was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of. It was evident that they were passionate about their craft and genuinely enjoyed providing excellent service. The variety and taste of the food and drinks were outstanding. Each restaurant showcased a diverse menu with a wide range of culinary delights. From mouthwatering appetizers to delectable main courses and decadent desserts, there was something to satisfy every palate. The flavors were expertly crafted, and the presentation was visually appealing. While every dish and drink was exceptional, there were a few standout I must also commend our guide, Carol, for her exceptional service and knowledge. She was not only a friendly and approachable guide but also a wealth of information about the local dining scene. Her passion for food and her dedication to ensuring a memorable experience for each guest was evident throughout the tour. Carol truly went above and beyond to make our dine-around experience unforgettable. Overall, the dine-around tour in Whistler BC village was a culinary adventure that I would highly recommend. The combination of amazing food, unique dining experiences, friendly staff, and an exceptional guide like Carol made it an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a food enthusiast or simply looking to indulge in a memorable dining experience, this tour is a must-try."

      Great food and tour.
We did the hidden gems tour tonight with Tristan. He was a lovely fellow who knew his stuff about Whistler and his trivia card game made my husband and I competitive. The restaurants, and servers and owners/managers were very welcoming and attentive. The food fantastic. My recommendation - don’t eat for a week beforehand. Would highly recommend this tour.

Five fantastic courses on a tour of whistler
Our group of 3 enjoyed a wonderful evening food tour at the start of September. The selection of food was fantastic and it gave us the opportunity to visit venues in Whistler we might not have otherwise known about. Carol was very knowledgeable about the area and was great company!

An amazing experience with a fantastic host!!
This was such a lovely and intermit experience, me and my partner were in a group of 5 and what better way to get to know each other than over a glass of wine and 5 restaurants. The restaurants we were guided around served us some lovely local food! The best part for me was our host, Christine, she was so enthusiastic and very knowledgeable and a great team player! Thank you very much for sharing your stories and the history of Whistler and its food scene.

      Outstanding
This company was amazing. There was not enough people for my tour, so they managed to get me into another tour at the same time and day. Our tour guide was Luke and he was fantastic. It was so interesting and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this company and Luke as the tour guide.

Taste incredible food, meet amazing people ~
Everything about this tour is a gastronomic delight, your taste buds will approve! We met with Carol, had an overview of where and what our evening would include and began our walking talking tasting sipping eating tour of amazing restaurants! All the restaurant staff were so nice, very accommodating on a busy evening for some of them, and happy to welcome us! This tour had seafood appetizers, fish or duck dinner, a sweet bite and dessert. We tasted wines, had a glass of wine with dinner (or not) and dessert. Carol is awesome! She makes sure we all have a fun and enjoyable experience! Be sure to mention if you have food allergies when signing up for the tour as the restaurants will accommodate you!

      Fun experience!
We have been going to whistler annually for over 20 years and this was our first time at all of the restaurants except the Rocky Mtn Choc Co. The food was absolutely magnificent, from the amazing app platter to tapas to dessert. And although Rocky Mtn could give more than the sliver of fudge for the whole song and dance they had our guide do to push add'l purchase of chocolates - all the other stops were hip, fun, and weren't trying to upsell, which was nice. We even got a few unexpected treats from kind servers on an easy night. Our guide was fun and funny, and everyone in my hard-to-please family found something they liked. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Great way to explore true hidden food eateries
My spouse and I did this tour for the first time ever and we have been coming to Whistler in the winter for over twenty years. Definitely a great way to taste food from 5 different places. We have eaten at many restaurants over the years but we found two new places we will go back to again. Our guide was Luke and he was delightful, full of lots of trivia about Whistler and fun as well. We joined a couple at Whistler for the first time and two other couples who knew each other but we all chatted and shared Whistler tips and great conversations as well. Come hungry and ask for boxes if desired and they will be provided to take food home.

Great night out in Whistler exploring a variety of restaurants!
OUr family of 3 really enjoyed the night out in Whistler on the Hidden Gems Dinner Tour. Our guide, Christine, was delightful and full of fun stories and interesting facts about the area. There was a nice variety in the 5 stops we made and who can argue with not one but TWO stops devoted to dessert! Our favorite stop was Caramba Restaurant - the pan seared Calamari a la Plancha and homemade house Ricotta were our favorites and out of this world!

      Horrible
Due to poor planning by Whistler Tasting Tours, we lost an entire vacation day. We had booked the tasting tour for us and our friends. Since the tour was supposed to start at 4pm, we planned our whole day around it. We didn't go skiing and we organized extra food for the kids. Then we got a message on short notice, 50 minutes before the tour started, that the tour was cancelled due to bad weather. But we were already on the way ... In Whistler Village, moreover, it was completely unproblematic: all paths were largely free of ice and the tour would have been possible in any case. We could have well understood a cancellation the day before or in the morning. Then we would also have had the chance to arrange our day differently. But so we lost a whole day of vacation due to poor planning by Whistler Tasting Tours. Never again! Terrible!

      Enjoyed it!
My daughters and I really enjoyed the tour and are happy that we did it. Our guide, Laura, was very friendly and gave us lots of info on the restaurants and history of Whistler. She also took photos for us throughout the tour which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend coming to the tour with an empty stomach as there is a LOT of food - much more than we could ever eat. There was a good variety of restaurants and food. We were very thankful that we were able to box up the cheese platter from our last stop so we could enjoy it later. We would definitely recommend the tour to others.

      Great night out!
What a wonderful way to check out different restaurants in the Whistler Village. We had a party of 4 on Friday 3/11/22 and our guide was excellent. We chose the wine/beer tasting to go along with the food and that was great as well. The walks between the venues were a nice break between courses. Our guide had us play a card game that quizzed us on the different stops along the way. Would absolutely recommend this to any visitor.

We loved this food tour. My husband and I did the same tour a few years ago. We repeated it this year with our 3 teens and everyone moved the food and the tour. Jimbo was a great tour guide. I recommend doing it early in the week so you can go back to the restaurants you like. It is nice to hear some of the history of the town interspersed in the tour.
Because of this tour we always seek out restaurant tours on our vacation destinations.

The tour was amazing! We purchased the wine pairing and had a great time trying all the food and wine. Each restaurant would have been too expensive to go to separately, so this was a great way to try all the fancy stuff in one go and treat ourselves. Our tour guide, Riley, was very knowledgable and engaging, and the card game he had was a lot of fun as well. Our favourite part was the sabering, didn't even know that was a thing before coming. Would love to go on another tour the next time we visit!

Took a solo trip to Whistler and decided it would be fun to jump on a food tour as I love the restaurants in Whistler and I wanted some company for the evening. I had originally signed up for the Hidden Gems tour but received a call that I was the only one to sign up, so I was upgraded to the Finer Things tour at no extra cost. It was wonderful! While I would still really like to do the Hidden Gems next time I'm in Whistler, the Finer Things tour was a real treat. We visited five locations, four of which gave small, but very delicious, samples and one was a full meal. All of them were at restaurants I have been really wanting to try. Our food at each one was fantastic and our guide, Christine, was really fun and knowledgeable. My tourmates were delightful and made the evening that much better. This is a wonderful tour to take on a visit to Whistler!

Luke was an outstanding tour guide for this tour. Very knowledgeable about each venue, general Whistler history, and put a very positive outlook on the entire experience. The group was a lot of fun to do the tour with as one restaurant thought we were all "family". Definitely a must try while in Whistler and highly recommend.

Rating this was a bit difficult. I'll start by saying we had an outstanding time. Three couples did the tour and it was great getting to hang out for the evening. Our guide, Mike, was great. He was friendly, organized and accommodating. It was great chatting with him and he did a good job of knowing when to step back and let us hang out as a group and when to initiate conversation and give us information. The choice of restaurants was also good. The sabering of the champagne was very cool; the highlight of the tour. What stopped me from giving this a 5 star review was the portion sizes and the cost. With five courses I didn't expect big portions and by the end of the night I was ok with that amount I'd eaten, but for the cost I would have liked a little more. The bites at Hy's were delicious, but were literally bites. The ice cream scoop for dessert was also just a few spoonfuls. The entrées at Quatro varied in size (the salmon was a good portion size, the duck was delicious but there wasn't much on the plate- meat or otherwise.) The charcuterie plate at the end of night was a great way to end, and did just enough to fill us up that we didn't have to go buy more food afterward. We enjoyed that the tour ends in a lounge where you can hang out as long as you want. We ended up ordering a bottle of wine and hanging out for awhile. The wine pairing option was a good choice as it's a fairly minimal cost for the added benefit of the wine pairings. The base cost of the tour was typical for Whistler prices and I get that you're paying for the experience as well, but I just would have liked a little bit more food for those prices. That said, I'd still probably recommend to friends.

This was our 7th time taking the “Fine Dining Tour” and we’ve never been disappointed. Professional, punctual guides, in this case Luke, make the this culinary adventure special. With five stops you will absolutely leave with a stomach full of food and if you choose, drink. The wine pairing is an excellent value. The champagne sabering experience alone is worth the price of the tour. And hope that you get Luke as your guide. He rocks! - Cheers!

Took this delicious food tasting tour hosted by our friendly neighborhood guide, Eugene.

He took the 4 of us to 5 different stops on this progressive dinner. Each tour selects different restaurants and there are other options to chose from. We included the wine pairing and all wine selections were Canadian bottles. Besides the food, Eugene also included some fun games and activities along with select prizes at the end.

First stop was the Barefoot Bistro’s private wine cellar for a sparkling wine sabering lesson plus appetizer. Very Fun to see the huge wine collection.

Next stop was Hy’s Steakhouse for tuna and teriyaki beef appetizers paired with red or white wine. Both delicious.

Third stop was Italian Quattro for the main course. We had pasta with salmon or veal.

Next we had a quick stop at Rogers Chocolate and got a small piece of chocolate.

The real dessert though was at Caramba where we got ice wine and a super sweet doughy plus ice cream thing.

Bottom line we tried some good foods at a variety of restaurants. Some dishes were really good and some were meh! Eugene kept it entertaining and fun.

Bria was an excellent guide for this progressive dinner. Is "Speed Dining" a term? or does this label do a disservice to a progressive curated fine dining experience?
It is a great way to sample courses from some of the best restaurants in Whistler, and the wine pairing option is definitely worthwhile. We were in Whistler for Cornucopia and added this tour for our dinner. We had already done a wine tasting seminar earlier in the day so my wife and I split one wine pairing between us and that was plenty for us to enjoy and enhance the food. We started with appetizers and champagne at Bearfoor Bistro, then a first course at Hy's Steakhouse (with a choice of white wine or red wine), main course at Quattro (with choice of a glass of white wine or red wine), ice cream or sorbet at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and the a cheese/fruit board at Fireside Room at the Westin (with ice wine). Bria is a local whose parents met at Buffalo Bill's (longtime nightspot), so she knows Whistler inside and out and shared her local knowledge of the places we visited and some of the other restaurants and other businesses that we passed along the way. A fun and satisfying evening. Even for people like us (from Vancouver) who have already eaten at all these restaurants before, it was a new way to experience them in this progressive dinner format.

We did both the Finer Things Dinner Tour and the Lunch Tour (self-guided) and highly recommend both! This was a fantastic way to sample several restaurants during a short stay in the area. The dinner tour was a lot of fun. The people we met on the tour were friendly and our group had a great time. The selection of restaurants was excellent and every place selected worthy of returning to someday. We especially liked that there were choices for the "main" meal as well as for one of the appetizer stops and also the dessert stop. It was a lot of food; really the equivalent of two full meals so I'd recommend eating a late breakfast or early lunch and coming plenty hungry. We purchased the wine pairings and enjoyed being able to taste several locally produced wines.
The food was all amazing, and there were a couple of excellent places we had a chance to go back to during our stay in Whistler. We wouldn't have known about them otherwise.

This was a really great way to get a taste of restaurants we might not generally go to in Whistler. It was nice to get a feel for each restaurant and where we might want to go back for a full experience. The food was great and certainly left the evening feeling very full! Our guide, Luke, was great! He is super knowledgeable about each location, restaurant and about Whistler in general. He kept the atmosphere festive and fun and got everyone in the group engaged.
