About
Soar above lush rainforest and whitewater rapids on a Whistler zipline tour that’s a thrilling way to experience BC’s rugged Fitzsimmons Range. Ride a beginner-friendly 5-zipline course linking a series of canopy bridges and boardwalks, or challenge yourself to take on the more advanced course, including a 2,400-foot (732-meter) zipline that stretches all the way to Whistler village. Pick from multiple departure times to best suit your schedule.

Highlights
  • Get aerial views of temperate rainforest and peaks
  • Multiple departure times available for your convenience
  • Convenient round-trip transport from Whistler Village
What to expect
Meet a driver at Whistler Village for transfer to the zipline course, where you’ll start by getting suited up in safety gear. Keep your eyes on the forest floor throughout the tour, as it’s common to see bears, lynx, deer, owls, grouse, and squirrels in the dense forest between Blackcomb Mountain and Whistler. Choose the Bear Tour to fly down five ziplines that range from 200 feet (61 meters) to more than 1,000 feet (305 meters), including a freestyle line that allows you to descend upside-down. On the more challenging Eagle Tour, the zipline course is accessed via the Whistler Gondola, and culminates in a spectacular 2,400-foot (732-meter) zipline to Whistler Village. Whichever tour you choose, guides will be on hand throughout the experience, and interpretive signs are great for insights into BC animals, plants, and ecology. Both tours conclude at the original departure point.

This activity is a little on the pricey side, but it’s a ton of fun and worth the money. Especially if you have kids who are old enough to go on it. We had 4 kids aged 10-14 on the tour and they absolutely loved it. If you’re a first timer this is also a great place to go. We did the Eagle Tour this year, we’ve done it before, but my nephew is older now so it’s a total different experience. Beautiful views, great weather, and a great group of other tourists made it a great experience.

Thanks to our great guides (Anders and Jen) for a great time! They were a lot of fun and we felt very safe with them. I’m not great with heights but everything felt 100% right the whole time.

I tried to go upside down but couldn’t do it. Maybe you just need to be a kid at heart to pull it off.

As first time zipliners we chose the Bear run. From start to finish it was an excellent experience and the team who guided us around were professional, helpful and encouraging. The whole set up was very reassuring and this no doubt helped with the apprehension we had prior to the start of the experience.
The Bear run was first class in terms of the zip lining and generally experiencing the Whistler environment. It was a great experience all round. I cannot recommend it highly enough particularly for those who may feel a little apprehensive. I have no hesitation in recommending Zipline Adventure.

Would recommend this as a good way to spend a couple of hours site seeing from a different perspective in whistler.

I really enjoyed the eagle tour which is 5 zip lines of varying lengths through the mountains. It is not for those who are afraid of heights!

There is a bit of a wait between doing the zip lines as there were quite a few people on the tour but that is a usually passed by looking at the informative signs posted around the tour and generally looking at wild life! We saw two bears during the trip!

There was fantastic dedication to safety by each of our guides which is great considering we were launching ourselves off a fifty foot platform!

A bit pricy for what we were doing but a fantastic experience none the less!

I’m more of a skier and mountain biker AND I’m scared of heights so I never would have done this on my own but my sister-in-law booked it for everyone, so I had to go. We did the Eagle package which includes 5 zip lines with the first one being the longest and it crosses from the Whistler side to the Blackcomb side. It’s the only dual line and it’s really high! The scariest part is walking down the steps until the harness tightens. Then you step off and start zipping down the line. Once you start moving it was not scary at all. I don’t mind speed and I wasn’t looking down. The harness makes it feel really safe. On the second line I was going upside down. After doing this I don’t think I am any less scared of heights but I am definitely not scared of zip lines. This was my first time doing this. Other people in my group had done it before and in their opinion this was the best they’ve done for these reasons: (1) the runs are long; (2) at the end of the lines your harness gets hooked onto a brake that slows you down and is connected to a rope that the guides can use to pull you in (none of us rolled back down the line like in some other operations; and (3) the guides were really good, they were very professional in following all safety protocols, they were friendly and encouraging, and they told us about the environmental focus. Our guides were Sam and Maddie.

My husband and I took the Eagle zipline experience yesterday. Our guides, Adam (UK) and Hayden (Aus) we’re both excellent and the 5 ziplines ranged in length and height. They recommended trying some tricks whilst whizzing over the river/creeks below. The scenery was beautiful; the walk through the old and new forests were lovely and their eco-ethos and information shared on the walks between lines was informative and humorous. We had a great group of just 8 and lots of banter and encouragement from all parties. Would highly recommend and the final descent straight back into Whistler Village was great - no need for any coach transfers on this trip. Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic rainy day adventure on the Falcon tour. It was like the Sea-to-Sky gondola, a treetop walk, and ziplining, all rolled into one! We enjoyed being able to move through the course at our own pace, and had almost as much fun on the bridges and platforms as we did on the ziplines. We look forward to coming back and trying the longer runs once they are able to re-open. P.S. The 25% Early Summer Booking discount is what finally convinced us to give this a try.

Quality tour for those of any experience level. Tour guides Laura and Jamous were fabulous, knowledgeable, friendly and fun. They were able to ease the fears of the newbies while keeping it interesting for those more experienced. Top quality experience.

So much fun! The zip lines were thrilling yet we felt safe the whole time. The guides were great and very knowledgeable about their zip lines and the area. Big shout out to Daniel and Sky! They were very friendly and helped make the experience even better. The tour ran a bit longer than expected (it took almost 3.5 hours) - so make sure you plan for that :)

I would Absolutely recommend this experience!

The tour was incredibly fun. The guides were funny and careful.
The customer service though, was unfortunately not as good. I called before the tour asking to switch to a later date, but was asked to pay for an extra $50 since the change was within 24 hours. I understand that it was the policy but the lack of leniency wasn’t great.
