The sunset Jeep tour was the perfect way to end our honeymoon in Whistler! We were treated to an absolutely stunning sunset in the most private setting imaginable since the tip of Blackcomb was closed to any other tourists. Our guide (Johan) was friendly, experienced and knowledgeable which put us at ease as we descended the mountain in darkness and an unexpected thick fog. Memorable and worth every dollar!

In late October 2019, I visited British Columbia and resided in Whistler. During that stay, I participated in the Canadian Wilderness Adventures, Blackcomb Sunset Jeep Tour. The tour was an excellent one. Fortunately, the other passengers on the trip were fun loving and this made for an enjoyable ocassion. The tour guide was knowledgeable and enjoyed what she did and this reflected in the enthusiasm brought to the tour.
I am a fan of the Whistler area and the mountain ranges. Most occasions I would have travelled up Blackcomnb during the day, so the evening tour with the sunset brought another dimension/beauty to my travel experience. It was totally awesome.
Unfortunetely, I cannot recall the name of the tour guide but I am hoping that the company will alert her of my appreciation of the good job that she did. The date of the tour was October 28, 2019.
This is a tour that I will do again on a future stay in Whistler. Thanks again!

Seeing the sunset from on top of the mountain was breathtaking. What a way to spend Thanksgiving, being so grateful to live in such a beautiful province. Melanie was a fantastic guide! She was kind, knowledgeable and you can tell how much she loves what she does. We felt safe and comfortable and we had an amazing time getting to know her, while she opened our eyes to all the beauty that Blackcomb Mountain had to offer!

We had an amazing evening with Nate, our guide, who took us up 2000m above Whistler in his jeep. Unforgettable experience for the 4 of us - breathtaking sunset, multiple bear sightings, deer and learnt a great deal about the local ecology. We learnt a huge amount and had great fun. Would highly recommend.

This was such an incredible experience and I highly recommend this excursion. We did this for a bachelorette party and it was by far one of the greatest things I have ever done. We had an amazing tour guide named Sean who made it 100x better. He made us all feel very comfortable and some amazing facts about the mountains and the history behind Whistler.

This was an amazing experience! The view of the area was breathtaking. We also had some great encounters with a few of the local, wild wonderers; Marmot, Grouse, Deer and a couple of Bears. Spectacular! Melanie was our tour guide. Her knowledge of the area and driving skills were exceptional. More to that though, she presented in a very fun yet humble manner. Our experience was a joy. I highly recommend taking this tour

The experince was good. Driver (Mitch) was great and very engaging and helpful. Took the bumpy route up which was more fun than simply scooting to the top. Saw some wildlife including a buck and some marmots which were whistling at us. Unfortunately, no sunset view. The smog, from Oregon fires, came in and saw nothing. Only disappointment of tour. That is why a 4 instead of a 5. Thanks, Mitch, for a good evening.

I booked this online a few months in advance of our holiday. Once in Whistler I got a phone call to slightly change the time and an email to confirm it. Communication was excellent. The driver was friendly and informative and happy to take photos for us on the mountain, but also happy to leave us to wander on our own - a perfect balance. We got around 40 mins at the top to watch the sun set and then take in the lovely afterglow. Our driver was looking out for wildlife too, stopping to let us see a marmot and a deer on the way up and down. A great experience.

We went on the Sunset Jeep Tour and had a wonderful time with our guide Nate. He was very knowledgeable about Whistler and a lot of fun. We saw four bears and breath-taking scenery. We went on other Canadian Wilderness Adventures and were impressed with the quality of the staff and equipment.
