- bents9770 contributionsGreat 5 hour tourJessica our guide was very knowledgeable and witty. We had fun and got to see a lot of great sights. We would recomned her and the tour highlyWritten September 17, 2024
- Keldrigg1230 contributionsA long day, but it was definitely worth it!An informative and interesting trip. Andy, our driver for the day, guided us through the day with information about Vancouver and Victoria. The two hour visit to the gardens was enough time to walk all the way round and have time for an ice cream. The gardens are stunning and worth exploring, particularly the Japanese garden. Two hours in Victoria is a pleasure; such a lovely town on the water.Written September 17, 2024
- tikitaka10 contributionsThe view was amazing. It was worth of visitFirst shuttlebus was good to go to this place. Not many people in the bus and not long line to enter the gate. Pay attention to go to bus stop. Bus stop was change the place. Difficult to find new bus stop from tour information desk. but there are sign board near the tour information desk.Written September 16, 2024

- bzlivin0 contributionsGreat tour of Vancouver! As we toured Vancouver we learned a lot about the areas we visited. The Island and its arts were great. The lookout was fun to see how vast the city is from 40 floors up! Being picked up and returned to our hotel was awesome! Leslie did a great job.Written September 16, 2024
- mhD4374HD0 contributionsA must for getting to know the cityHandy transport option, great guides, particularly our lovely Sherry who was cheerful, informative and amusing. Seats weren't that great though and the different types of buses was a little confusing.Written September 16, 2024
- MamaMay04020 contributionsWell-run daytrip with knowledgeable and accomodating tour guideThis was an excellent way to see Butchart Gardens and Victoria while staying in the Vancouver area. The tour company took care of all transportation details and the entrance fee to the gardens. Jessica, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The tour was worth the extra cost because they picked us up at our downtown hotel. On the day of our tour, unfortunately, the ferry that we were scheduled to take broke down. So we had to take the next one. Jessica made the change seamlessly by pivoting and giving us a ride through Vancouver and telling us about the city and its history. What a bonus!Written September 16, 2024
- 490jackiev0 contributionsA Tour Must! After a cruise to Alaska, my five sisters and I spent an extra day in Vancouver. Bobby Wilson of Grayline was a fantastic tour guide and went out of his way for this group. Capilano Suspension Bridge, beautiful city tour, Granville Island, Prospect Point, Totem poles in a beautiful park. Highly recommend!Written September 16, 2024

- Curiosity005521779790 contributionsRelatively Short & DisorganizedBrief tour. Pickup at hotel at 9:15am - 45 minutes before tour begins. Drive through Stanley Park, visit gift shop for 25 minutes. Around the island and left off at the market for 85 minutes. Late gerring back to bus by 10 minutes and it left without us. Driver never had count of how many were left off in the 1st place. Called office and took cab to meet at Lookout Towef. Up to tower for 15 minutes. Back on bus to hotel dropoff right at 2:30pm. No stops at Chinatown or Gastown.Written September 16, 2024

- bonna1210 contributionsWonderful staffWe stored our luggage at Canada Place while riding the hop on hop off bus. From start to finish the staff of Grayline Westcoast was fantastic! They were friendly and helpful. Due to multiple bus driver and tour guide changes our bus ran late and was going to be later than the 4:30 luggage pick up. In a panic I called the number on our luggage ticket and explained the situation. The woman said she’d let the luggage folks know we’d be there by 4:45. We got off the bus and sprinted to the luggage pickup which is extremely hard to find!! I got down there at 4:45 and was totally winded and exhausted. Mike at luggage pickup had me sit in his seat, calm down and catch my breath. My husband and I got separated while searching for the pickup location. Mike talked to my husband on my phone and tried explaining how to get to it. In the end, at 5:00, Mike helped me and our 3 suitcases go up to the convention center to meet my husband. People like Mike are a true asset to this company!!!Written September 16, 2024
- Sunshine492430800750 contributionsFigure out where you want to go and get an Uber. I guarantee you will save money and time. DisgracefulThis was a rip off! Over $120 for 2 people. They claim there is a pick up every 25 minutes. At our first stop (Stanley Park) we waited over 40 minutes for a bus the2nd stop at Sutton Place Hotel we waited 20 minutes for a bus and it was full. The driver said one was 5 minutes behind him. It arrived almost 30 minutes later. Terrible service!Written September 15, 2024

Very disappointed in this tour
Vinny the guide was the most condescending, poorly informed guide we have come across
He talked rubbish and just made up stories as he went along - we are not as dumb as you think and don’t need to be fed made up stories just for something to say. The incessant woohoo noises and confabulation made for a very long day.
To top it off we were told to get back to the bus at 3 pm to head off at whistler but then whilst waiting for a couple who had been told to join us in that spot at 4pm he actually asked us all to get off the bus and wait the extra time for them . - we all refused so he headed the bus downtown a small lake to fill in time then came ba k
If we hadn’t done other tours with this company would not recommend but I do believe this was rather guide not the company’s fault. We do thank Alan the driver

While this was a long day, it was a great long day. Our guide, Vinny the Gorgeous, was AMAZING and so much fun. He was incredibly knowledgeable about any and everything and kept a running narrative while we travelled between stops. He provided excellent tips and suggestions for dining and shopping, and the best places for photos. Our driver, Alan, navigated the roads, both city and mountain with aplom, and we enjoyed the drive.
The gondola was surprisingly not scary (for me, a person who is not a fan of heights), and the views from the top are unparalleled. Simply stunning.
Whistler is so well laid out and is a great village. With all the mountain bikers, it was nearly as busy as winter, but didn't feel packed or unnavicable.
There were plenty of restrooms everywhere we went and places to rest, if needed.
Vinny kept us moving and on time, but we never felt rushed. The timing for each stop made sense.
But Vinny. Vinny made the tour. If you are lucky enough to have him as your guide, ask him about his flying Lamborghini and 17 mansions. ;)

Very kind and funny tour guide Nigel! The bus driver Max was also a trooper, on his first day on the job we had a broken fan belt so the bus needed to pull over and at one point wait for a new part to be delivered. The staff were very upfront about it and modified our stops - we still came home on time and even got to see a cove that we normally don’t stop in!
The tour bus will pick you up at your hotel if you’re within Downtown Vancouver; but if you’re in an AirBNB or a hotel not listed on their pickup zones, you may meet at the front of the convention center. Every detail is well explained for how to arrive, how long the tour is, and where the stops will be when you buy the ticket.
The drive is scenic and excellent. There’s plenty of pitstops for the long drive up to Whistler where you can buy food and use the washroom. Overall I highly recommend this tour as an easy way to see the mountains of Vancouver.
PRO TIP: sit on the left side of the bus on the way up, the right side on the way down. The best car views will be at window seats for both.

We are on a family vacation from Ontario with 8 of us in total. It was gorgeous weather the day we went to Whistler. I was disappointed when our little bus pulled up in front of our hotel. It had no bathroom but I quickly realized a bathroom was not needed because of the frequent stops it makes. However ,it is not a comfortable ride as we felt every bump in the road.
Our driver and guide ,Leslie , actually made the trip as successful as it was. He is a wealth of information and gave a running commentary on everything from Vancouvers history and culture to Canadas form of government. He pointed out many geological interests and was funny and entertaining. He even went as far as to take family photos for us and we felt he truly wanted us to enjoy the experience. Many thanks ,Leslie.
This is a fabulous trip to showcase the beauty of the mountains and sea on the awesome Sea to Sky highway.
Thanks West Coast Sightseeing.

We made the decision to do the gondola Whistler tour with great thought as we were already balking at the price but thought it would be worth after reading what was included.
We were told that the pickup time would be 8.15am in the foyer of our hotel, we waited for a good half hour and still no one came. The hotel concierge rang for us to see what was happening and we were assured that they were still coming, after a 2 hr wait and another 2 phone calls the mini bus finally arrived. Apparently the original bus had broken down we were told which I do understand is unfortunate and out of their control.
We were finally on our way in our mini bus which isn’t that comfortable if you are tall as the headrest is in your back.
We didn’t have a tour guide either like I was expecting as its clearly advertised and the driver had to do it all, which wasn’t all that interesting.
We did the sea to sky gondola and it was great, the only highlight of the day unfortunately as Shannon falls was also closed.
We continued on our way to Whistler and because we had left so late we didn’t have time to do the peak to peak gondola in Whistler and only had enough time to wander around the town then headed back to Vancouver. At the end of the day I can’t recommend it and don’t think it was worth the money when you consider that you can catch a bus from Vancouver to Whistler for $40/pp, the tour cost us $428, yes there was the gondola $65/pp but still expensive, cheaper to hire a car for the day. After reading other people’s reviews I feel a bit ripped off.

The Whistler tour was an absolute highlight of our trip, and especially of our time in Vancouver. Our guide Leslie was knowledgeable, helpful and funny - keeping everything on track and a font of amazing information not just about our the locations we were seeing, but Vancouver generally. It was great value for money, the views were spectacular - especially Howe Sound and Whistler, and can't recommend travelling in fall enough. Definitely put this tour on your list!

Everything went like a well conducted orchestra from booking, hotel pickup, the day's activities and drop-off. Kevin was indefatigable in making everything enjoyable despite a foggy, rainy day where we couldn't even see a mountain till late in the day. He kept us entertained, informed and comfortable. Thanks

As a first-time visitor to Vancouver, I wanted to make the most of my quick trip! I wanted to make sure I could not only explore the city but also the great outdoors nearby without having to rent a car. Nigel was an incredible tour guide as we weaved through Squamish & Whistler to learn the history of the area, see breathtaking views, and build community with the rest of the tour group. Nigel was so great in taking us over to the Olympic rings, posing folks for fun photo opportunities, and cracking jokes. It was a really fun afternoon - I would highly recommend anyone doing this tour!

It was a beautiful day! Our driver from Kevin from Grayline was excellent. He was a very informative, he has dead-pan humour, & he covered more than what was required. The bear hunt at Catlican Valley was a big big bonus as we saw 6-7 bears up close! On top of Shannon falls, Sea to Sky Gondala, Whistler (where he pointed out different stuff we could do) , detour to Catlican Valley, stop by Alexander falls, Porteau Cove etc… we were just so blessed to have him as our guide! Jason took us back to our hotel at Georgian court.. excellent driver with an excellent service!!! Thank you!

Hi, I have few questions:
1) If I live in a house instead of a hotel, would you pick me up?
2) I can't find the starting time? What will be the meeting time?
3) Will I have to hike or walk a lot? I will come with a 65-year-old lady.
Thx

We are traveling next week with kids aged 10 and 9. I had a question, sometimes my kids are a little afraid of heights, is there an option of not to sit on the gondola ride? If yes what are the other activities they can do at the point where the tour stops for the gondola ride.
Written July 7, 2023
There are some walking paths, a gift shop & some pop up caravans selling icecream etc. I think obviously the highlight is going on Gondola ...maybe they could sit between you & be in middle to feel safer? 😊

What time do you arrive in whistler thinking of booking seaplane trip trying to work out if we would have enough time
Written July 22, 2022
When we did the tour, we got on the bus to head out around 8am, so you would not have time to do the plane tour first, and then by end of the tour day would be getting close to dinner time. It’s a long full day! I wouldn’t book anything else that day! But it’s a good tour with several stops.

Cannot remember exactly but I know that it was a full day trip to Whistler. We really enjoyed the experience especially the trip to the top to see the Olympic rings. The cost to the top was extra but well worth it.

The Sea to Sky Gondola was an included part of this trip. V The only additional cost for us was coffee enjoyed at the top. At Whistler you will pay extra for lunch or riding the ski lift there.

Hi there - can someone tell me Whistler will have snow during this time of year? Also what was the weather like? Is it very cold?

No snow at the highest point that the Gondola goes to. Not cold either but that depends what you are used to.
