    Great tour
Visited Vancouver for a few days and this was my favorite tour. It’s 20-30 minutes flight time and you see quite a bit; even saw two whales from the air when pilot pointed them out. My first seaplane tour - takeoff & landing on the water was pretty cool!

    AWE INSPIRING BEAUTY SEAPLANE RIDE
This was AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND AWESOME ! The drive alone from Vancouver to Whistler was just so amazing, The changing of the leaves, the splendor of nature, pictures cannot do it justice. The seaplane flight was fantastic, the crew and pilot were great. The views awe inspiring. This is a must do adventure if you can go.

    Stressful and disappointing
Unfortunately due to weather conditions the plane trip was delayed for nearly 2 hours which didn’t leave us enough time to explore Victoria and Butchart Gardens. We decided on Butchart Gardens but didn’t have enough time to go back and meet BC Ferries connector. We took a transit bus to the Ferry and then had to pay another $38.20 for the ticket. Lucky we found the bus driver on the Ferry and we had a way to get back downtown. So whole trip was a bit of a disappointment.

    Seaplane ride was the best!
Brittany was our pilot and was very friendly and sweet. She offered to take our pictures in front of the plane, described everything about our flight before we took off. We got to see a large freighters’ hold being loaded with grain from the sky. Our flight over the city and out over the surrounding harbor and waters was beautiful. The takeoffs and landings were very smooth. We felt safe and comfortable inside the plane. The terminal is down on the water and was not well marked from the main road next to it. Once we found it it was smooth sailing from there.

    Expensive but worth w
Great company… weather can always be tricky, so trips do get cancelled.. we were able to make it out, and the weather was beautiful. Even my husband, who is not really into flowers, loved Butchart gardens. Our bus driver was fabulous and informative, and the views on the way back in the sea plane were amazing. Highly recommend!!

    Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Arrived early and they had planes with space available, but their policy would not allow changing flights. How ridiculous in this day. They could’ve sold my later flight while earlier flights left with empty seats.

    Perfect Experience
Great experience. We booked an extended 45 minute flight. Pilot really friendly and good explanation of where he was flying. Fantastic to see the city from the air. Highly recommended.

A Spectacular Flight and Rare Experience
These seaplane flights are highly recommended, particularly as an unusual experience for British travellers. The Sea Otter aircraft may be old and a little tight, for comfort but they are maintained in excellent condition and flown by highly skilled pilots. As a later flight, in their day's programme, our departure was delayed by about 20 minutes. However, Captain Rob apologised and provided us with an extended flight, as compensation.... How good was that?! So, in place of a 45 minute 'experience', including taxiing and flight, we had nearly an hour I'm the air, with spectacular views of Vancouver city and the mountains to the North. Thank you, Captain Rob, and Harbour Air.

    Not good
Trip was supposed to be for thirty minutes. We were in the air for fifteen minutes - did one big circle with not a single comment from the pilot to tell us what we were flying over Four of us paid close to $800 for a fifteen minute plane ride. We feel we were taken advantage of and would appreciate a full refund. Rob Louden

Best thing to do in Vancouver (attention Harbour Air staff - please read):
To Prospective flyers: This is hands down THE best way to see Vancouver so definitely do this if you can afford it. What makes Vancouver special is its location and the only way to see it and appreciate it is to fly above and see why the city is so highly rated. This is an outdoor city and all about nature and outdoor recreation. See why we love it! To Harbour Air: As you have read in other comments, the biggest complaints that tourists have of this experience are: (1) the lack of narration when on the flight, and (2) the annoyance that some folks may not get a window seat for optimum photo ops. SUGGESTIONS: have a short talk about where you plan to fly and what people will see (hopefully in front of a map with some photos ( or recommend to them - while waiting - a online short video featuring the experience and key landmarks they will see). Also encourage passengers to interact and share photos between them so that no one goes without some great photos. Maybe that can be done in a debrief at the end of the flight? Big shout out to the HA E-plane tech/PR crew who were outside under a tent explaining their new electric technology on the E-beavers. Super friendly and knowledgeable!

Float plane ride - was advised "first come first serve" for copilot seat; arrived 70 mins early where front desk also advised "first come first serve" once you're at the plane.
Someone that arrived just on time bumped into the pilot in the coffee line and snagged the front seat.
I'm really disappointed. But otherwise flight was good.

Cappelano Suspension Bridge Park was a lovely scenic place to spend the afternoon. Take the time to order a glass of wine or an Americano and take in the landscapes for a bit longer in the outdoor patio of the restaurant - it's worth it! Would definitely recommend the park.

helenhT4352PK, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and are pleased you savoured the park's landscapes! The co-pilot occupancy does depend on pilots' discretion. You may meet your pilot upon boarding or prior to boarding to ask if available. Hopefully we may have the pleasure to welcome you aboard again someday and a chance to get your preferred seat! Thank you for choosing Harbour Air.

This was my second trip to Vancouver. I am trying to visit every Hockey Arena in North America. So Seattle and Vancouver was on this years list. Vncouver is a very nice city with an Internationl population. You will hear many languages and accents as you walk down Robson street.
Capilano Suspension Bridge is a very nice plave to visit even in the rain.
Granville Island offers lots of options for lunch and shopping. There are musicians who play for tips while you eat.
Bring some money because Vancouver is not cheap. 💵💰
The Sea Plane tour down in the harbor was a great fun ride to see the city and surrounding muntains.
I was the fist one t board and was offered the seat in the cockpit next to the pilot. Awsome view. Emrick was our pilot and he was awsom.
I can't wait to go back.

The flight was great and Capilano visit was awesome.
However I had a difficult time finding the place to check in. The google maps is not sufficient to find the location. It’s hidden in the back of a huge building complex. And there is no free parking in Vancouver. You may end up paying up to $30 for parking

The pilot was great! Planes are not the most comfortable, but I knew going in from being on other similar aircraft. They are also pretty noisy as well. I list this for those who have never been on this type an aircraft, but don't let this deter you from going. Seeing Vancouver from the sky is quite scenic all in itself. Taking off and landing in water is also an experience, and a first for me. It's not the cheapest tour you can do, but still worth the price. Advice: Get a single seat if possible. Two seats together are very cramped. The bus trip to Capilano is fairly short. The suspension bridge is quite long, with GREAT views. The Tree Top bridges are great as well. Then add the cliff walk and you have a great time. The food is a little expensive but is enjoyable. Lots to see and experience outside of the bridges. Caretakers talking about each of their birds. It's a beautiful setting. If you book this package instead of separately, you'll save money. I hope you have fun and enjoy it as much as I did.

Well organised from start to finish. Thanks to Rob Chew for helping me to book. Really enjoyed the sesplane over Vancouver. It was really calm and we got a great view if the city. Our pilot was excellent and took time for photos afterwards. The suspension bridge had some great walks and the buses left regular throughout the day and were on time. Great value day out

Airplame ride was a somewhat crowded experience but we got a very exciting view of the entire area. Very nice but crowded. While the included Capilano swaying suspension foot bridge is not necessarily a good idea for the elderly as the more crowded it gets the more it weaves and sways. Expensive but the enormous beautiful, park, pond and facilities make it a must see and it's educational. Enjoy BnE

We loved this tour! We flew in to Vancouver a couple days early for an Alaskan cruise to do some things in the area. Our seaplane experience was good. You get about 25 minutes of flying around Vancouver and taking it in from the air. Also, it was neat to take off and land on the water. After we rode in a motor couch to the Suspension Bridge Park. The bridge does shake more then we thought it would. Although it wasn't any problems for us, i could see if someone had disability with walking it would be. As a couple other reviews stated, there is only set routes, but we were happy we went and enjoyed it.

An awesome and exciting way to see Vancouver. Our tour was about 30 minutes and even without a fully sunny day it was well worth the time, energy (and flight anxiety!) we are locals and still really enjoyed ourselves.

My two young adult children and I had a great time on our tour on the Sea Plane!
Great views of the harbor and downtown Vancouver. Our guide was great.
After our Sea Plane tour we hopped onto the free shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge. I do have a “ fear of highs” and the bridge was overwhelming but everyone on the bridge were nice and understanding that made it an easier walk across. There are no perfect words for the views in the park but AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL.
My family and I recommend this tour.

We're delighted to hear that you and your young adult children had a great time on our seaplane tour, enjoying the great views of Vancouver's harbour and downtown. It's wonderful that your guide made the experience memorable for you.
