There were 5 friends who thought it was a good idea when booking these rides mamy months ago. As the trip got nearer the trepidation started to build. I (the author) being the eldest (and most unfit) at 64 did not really comprehend what was expected of me throughout the tour. On arrival at the cycle shop we met Mark, he was excellent putting everyone's mind at ease, he informed us of his plan for the day, he also concentrated on my wife, who hadnt ridden a bike for some 40 years and was more worried than myself on the upcoming tour. Mark made it his primary role in looking after my wife (62) and the tour started. Vancouver has the best cycle lanes in the world, (my opinion based on the only cycle lanes i have ridden on) the controls on the bikes were 'simple' enough to use, Mark did explain the controls at the start of the trip and during the frequent stops Mark reinforced these explanations whilst also pointing out the local tourist spots in detail. Mark obviously loves his City of Vancuver as we toured both the City and the shoreline pointing out historical facts and places of interest to the group. The stops along the tour were many and varied, our group members later remarking that the four hours flew past without the realisation of the distance covered. Mark made the tour. Vancuver made the tour, we thank you both, especially Mark, who knows he may have contributed to my decision to purchase an enviro bike when we get back to the UK

We had a fantastic E-Bike Tour of Vancouver with our guide Greg!
Greg is incredibly knowledgeable about the city and shared with us a lot of history, pearls, and a lot of recommendations for our trip, which we found very helpful. I would recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your Vancouver trip, as you basically get a crash course of the city. Afterwards, go back and visit the areas you are interested in. I rented an electric bike 2 days later and went back to some fun spots to explore further. I loved e-biking! It was a 4.5 hour tour and I was not tired after. It was one of the highlights of my vacation. Greg made it really fun the whole ride! 😊 Thanks!

I did the ebike tour of Vancouver with Greg on August 9. He was very knowledgeable and charismatic, which helps when trying to teach people about a city. He knew every bump and turn and crack on the route we took, which was super impressive. It made it easier for us as non-locals to participate and enjoy the experience! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to squeeze a great tour of the entire Vancouver peninsula into a morning or afternoon. Thanks again Greg!

My wife and I took this tour with our incredible guide Paulo in July. Can’t say enough positives about what we learned, the measured pace of the trip, and the insight Paolo shared both during and even after the ride (he sent us a personalized email summarizing what we saw and other helpful travel/history tips). In contrast to another ebike tour we took later that week (from another company in a different city), this one utilized top-shelf bikes and brought forth a depth of the city that we really enjoyed. As my review title says - “just book it’…. You won’t be disappointed.

First time myself, wfe and daughter had done an E-bike tour, we were a little worried but handling the E-bikes, but they were easy to handle and a joy to ride, especially going up a hill. Our guide Greg did a great job getting us around the bike paths and roads safely, while having a wealth of knowledge at all the points of interest we stopped at. I would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see and learn more about Vancouver and Stanley Park, at an easy pace.

Our guide Mark was fantastic at sharing lots of knowledge about Vancouver during the 4 hour trip. The combination of riding through Stanley Park and the city was a great way to experience Vancouver. Highly recommended to do this on your first day in the city (we did it on our last) as the learnings are a great way to plan your next few days. The electric bikes we excellent and it is no effort Torricelli around the park/city.

We had never ridden an e-bike before and were a little apprehensive. No worries! Our guide, Mark, gave everyone a quick lesson and, then, started out the tour slow enough for everyone to get comfortable with their bike. Wow! What fun! LOVE the boost the e-bike gives you as you pedal - especially on hills. The tour was really a great way to see and learn the history of Vancouver Stanley Park as well as various neighborhoods around the city. Mark was informative and funny. He clearly loves his job! We loved the tour! Highly recommend...

What an amazing way to see the sights of Vancouver with City Cycle and our guide Keely!! We were on the Epic Electric Bike tour and were not disappointed! After a quick check in and safety check, we were off and running. Keely guided us through the cities bike paths, along the sea wall and Stanley park with lots of stops and information along the way. We toured around more of the neighborhoods and went through China town and Gas town before we looped back around to the bike shop, I believe it was about 12 miles looping most of the city!!! ! It went by so quickly and easily with the electric assist bikes, this is a great activity for all age adults and bodies sizes. I have to say again, Keely was AMAZING with her wealth of knowledge of the city and the fact that she lives and works in the city as well. Lots of small tidbits and insights and super fun to hang around with for the afternoon! We will definitely be back, with more friends next time and look forward to using City Cycle for more biking fun!

My husband had not ridden a bike in over 30 yrs and was a somewhat apprehensive. I convinced him to try it and we could always walk the bikes back.

We had a wonderful time even though I fell off my bike at the first stop. Just a little tumble. I was fine. Lost my balance.
Mark was a wonderful guide. He knew his stuff - well informed of the Vancouver history and stories.

We visited several of the highlights in Vancouver but we ended up renting the bikes the next day (with a discount due to taking the tour) and went to Grandville Island.

We loved our experience and give Mark at 10 out of 10

Very well organised from the booking process to the day!
As a couple in their kate 50's/early 60's and being unfut, we opted for the E bike tour.
Actually had not been on a bike for years, so we were a little anxiuos.
Greg and Marlow our guides explained how the bikes work and how to boost (which we thoroughly enjoyed the benfits of, going up the hills!).
They were both very knowledgable and the tour was comprehensive, stopping at key points around Vancouver. Most of the way was cycle lanes too which helped.
A great introduction to Vancouver.
Book it for your first day!
