- hridley50 contributionsE-biking on Vancouver IslandMy husband and I have just completed a self guided 7 day e-bike tour of Vancouver Island organised specially for us by Paul. We couldn’t find a trip we wanted to do, so Paul planned one for us. We didn’t know what to expect before we started, but had an amazing time exploring a section of the island, staying in excellent accommodation. We especially liked Sooke, Brentwood Bay and Ganges on Salt Spring Island. The e-bikes supplied were great and Paul gave us plenty of pannier space to store all our things plus the additional essentials he supplied eg bear spray (which we didn’t need!), bike essentials and first aid items. The bikes were almost new and we had no issues at all with them. The cycle route was very interesting, mostly on bespoke cycle paths following really interesting trails and Paul and Arman provided us with door to door service to/from our hotel and ferries at the start and end of the trip. Thanks so much. Happy Days!!Written August 15, 2024

- Journey577422466210 contributionsFun, physical and friendly. This was a fun, physical and friendly day out. Paul was an exceptional guide who from the very beginning (when we reserved our date) showed dedication and care. He was easy to communicate with and helped us feel at ease as he coordinated our pickup time and place after disembarking from the ship. On the tour Paul took us to local, non commercial areas to enjoy and learn about, as well as a tasty lunch at a 'farm'. It was a great way to spend the day after our cruise.Written June 18, 2024
- eddeny20230 contributionsBest Bike/Hike Tour in Vancouver!!This was my first hike/bike in Vancouver and it did not disappoint! As a city girl from Toronto, I wasn't sure what to expect but the excursion exceeded all expectations. I loved the scenes and the even more awesome company! My tour group had some great people, shout-out to Kit and Paul the Australian ☺️. Arman was our tour guide and he was awesome, funny and informative. He was also super responsive via phone and accommodative. I was 10 minutes late but he waited for me and gave me no trouble about it. I also accidently ordered an E-bike but he had an extra normal bike that I could use for the biking section of the tour! If you're worried about the excursion being too long or difficult, fear not, the entire trip is doable for any person of moderate physical ability. I think, like me, you'll find yourself wishing the trip was longer so you could spend more time in the beautiful Lynn Valley and Pitt Meadows 💕. Thank you Arman and thank you Into the Wild! You made my first time in BC so much better.Written June 12, 2024
- Trek2773130 contributionsInto The Wild is a must do tourPaul and Armand could not be better guides. We spent 5 hours on a private bike tour around Vancouver hitting all the hot spots and our specific destination requests. Very personable, knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend if you want a personally curated experience in a breathtaking city. Plan to return to do one of their multi day tours!Written June 4, 2024
- marthag560 contributionsSelf Guided Bike Tour Vancouver IslandThe perfect 4 day/3 night experience! We love self guided because there is so much choice. Paul put together an excellent itinerary (bike paths/rail trail most of the way), booked our hotels and provided excellent bikes and equipment (panniers, Ride with GPS phone and routes) and transportation to and from the train station in Vancouver to the ferry. Paul is an excellent communicator, suggesting interesting places to stop and restaurant options. Vancouver Island is beautiful and the people are so friendly. We'll be back as there is so much more to explore!Written May 17, 2024
- jeremywD2747AS0 contributionsA day with Paul and Armand - AMAZING !Amazing day trip. Picked us up on time. Comfortable ride up into a park for a mountain hike. Then awesome lunch at fresh farm. Then a fun bike ride (easy) at the foothills of the mountains. Paul and Armand are very professional and great to hang out with all day. I would call Paul for any kind of tour.Written May 2, 2024
- Mattresshead0 contributionsSimply brilliant....Well Paul ... Thank you for a brilliant day. The walk through the temperate rainforest was absolutely brilliant and very educational...even for a couple in their late 50's .... Lunch was perfect and the cycle ride around the blueberry/cranberry fields, rivers, canals was perfect. Everything was 'easy' ... No drama...just a really enjoyable day out. Your friendly manner puts everybody at ease.... Even if one member of our group wanted to 'go their own way' rather than stay with the rest of the cyclists.... You managed everything very well. Your equipment and cycles are clearly well maintained, and the varied frame sizes catered for everybody on the ride. I've got plenty of retro Gary Fisher frames if you want a mountain bike building up. :-) Have a great life and we hope your excellent tour/adventure business goes from strength to strength. Kind regards Carl & Jackie.Written November 4, 2023
- hugok5110 contributionsA great experience and wonderful dayThe self guided tour was excellent. Paul picked us up from our hotel in downtown Vancouver and drove us to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. He set us up with the bikes (new well maintained e-bikes), gps maps (with backups and chargers), water, pannier bags, helmets, and card to buy return ticket. The recommended route was a great day trip ride. Almost entirely away from cars and on paved or gravel bike trails. The bicycle infrastructure on the island was great. We got lunch at the flying otter by the water and watched the float planes and seal. Everything went smoothly, and Paul is a caring and knowledgeable host. He did his best to make the day a success. Highly recommend.Written September 24, 2023
- Trek7380410 contributionsAN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!This tour is a must while staying in Vancouver. It’s a great way to get out of the city and into nature for a day! We traveled with family, 3 adults and 2 kids, (aged 12 and 10). Paul, our guide was amazing with all age groups. He was knowledgeable and attentive and throughout the tour he found time to interact with each member individually. The scenery was stunning. So many excellent photo ops and instagramable moments. We even had 2 separate bear sightings in the wild which was just the cherry on top of an already amazing day. Lunch was included at a lovely farm to table restaurant. Bikes were in excellent condition. Paul got a puncture along the way and had it fixed and back on track in about 10 minutes. He used it as a teachable moment for my kids, as they learned how to fix a punctured tire! Overall an amazing experience for our family. 10/10 recommend Paul and Into the Wild Tours! Tips: if the weather is appropriate, there’s an opportunity to jump in a beautiful fresh water mountain creek. Bring a bathing suit and towel! Also, if you can, bring your guide some Jelly Tots!Written September 10, 2023

- 467floriann0 contributionsFulfilling Experience!Paul was awesome- he didn't speed through anything, was very patient in the guided tour. He let everyone ask any question and was super kind along the way. Highly recommend this hike/bike tour if you want to discover BC!Written August 27, 2023
- Ross S0 contributionsBike tour with bears on the way!Great tour. Our guide, Paul, gave us informative forest tour followed by excellent bike ride. The icing on the cake was a close up but safe sighting of two bear cubs with mumma black bear - all while we were riding. As two 70 year olds (plus) we managed the physicality - had great lunch, met new friends. Highly recommend this tour!Written August 27, 2023
