- M2142FSroberts0 contributionsWonderful pre and post cruise tours of Vancouver for a family of 10With a family of ten (8 adults and 2 children) we wanted a better alternative to see Vancouver than a series of Ubers before and after our Alaska cruise. Dominic drove us in a luxury van first for an eight hour tour the day before our cruise and another eight hour tour on debarkation day before our evening flight. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Dominic. He offered a very interesting narration as we travelled, offering insights and explaining local history. He got to know our family and became familiar with we wanted to see and he took us to places we wouldn’t have thought of. We all liked him so much he was almost a part of the family himself. We give Canadian Craft Company an A+. For ease of use, comfort, and value we highly recommend them, and Dominic in particular!Written July 31, 2024

- jchsicily30 contributionsHighly recommend, great companyWe got off our ship and had a 12hour layover. Canadian Craft took care of our group of 9. Kevin picked us up from port terminal and took us to Fraser Vally for lunch. Our lunch and all 4 wineries were absolutely wonderful! He then dropped us off at the airport at the time we had mentioned we needed to get ready for our flight. When booking tours and such in a different country or even for a different experience, you never know what you might get. I would highly recommend Canadian Craft company for your excursions or tours in the Greater Vancouver area. Be sure to ask for Kevin!Written June 30, 2024

- dorisday610 contributionsBrilliant day out with pretty good wine! Our host for the trip, Carolyn Melesh was brilliant. She waited for missing passengers, going to quite a lot of trouble to try to track them down. She was extremely friendly & personable and provided some great music to accompany the trip and was flexible on drop-offs on our return. If you get the chance, go on a trip with Carolyn as your driver! The overall tour experience was good, wine was pretty good and we had great fun on our bus but Carolyn made the day for me.Written September 10, 2023

We had a wonderful day visiting 3 Wineries in the Vancouver, Fraser area that included a very tasty charcuterie lunch . Our guide and driver Jordan was super friendly and had lots of knowledge about the surroundings and wineries. It was a birthday celebration and it was a lovely way to spend the day. I would definitely recommend taking the tour.

This tour company went above and beyond the entire time! Mandy made the booking process extremely easy and answered my millions of questions. Greg our driver was AMAZING and so accommodating! He was always there ready to explain the different wineries and always helped with photos! Need a group shot? Ask Greg! All of the tours were amazing even during this difficult time with covid. We did find one venue really unorganized and they tried to charge us for the wine tasting but Greg figured it out! Overall we ALL want to book another tour with this company!

We enjoyed an amazing wine tour with Brent as our guide. I celebrated my birthday with friends visiting from out of town and it was such a wonderful experience (and in my backyard). I love supporting local and playing tourist in my own city. Thank you Canadian Craft Tours!!! Until we meet again…

Visited 3 wineries. Got a quick tour of the first one. Tried 5 wines at each place which was good, with a bit of choice. Kevin drove us. He was friendly enough. Did not really learn much, more of a tasting than educational.

So I booked the Fraser Valley wine tour on January 19th, paid in full that same day. The tour was scheduled for June 17th, and in the months prior I called to ask which wineries they planned to go to...…they said they wouldn't know till a week or so before......that's fine.......and I called again to confirm our trip a few weeks before the actual date. Then I called 3 days before to find out which wineries they were going to. She gave me the names of the wineries. AND I got a CONFIRMATION E-MAIL from them on Thursday June 14th, explaining where to meet them and what time. Never any indication that they would be canceling this tour! On Friday the 15th, the DAY before we leave for Vancouver, they called me to say they were canceling the tour as they only had the 2 of us going!!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! WHO DOES THAT? I had that whole day planned for THIS tour...….and at the last minute they cancel? That is just fabulous customer service isn't it? They have all sorts of notations and fees about what happens if I cancel, but I see nothing about them cancelling on me! Never ever in all of our travels all over the country or world, have we ever booked a tour (far in advance even) that got canceled. NEVER.....Sounds like they don't know what they are doing. I selected this tour because of all the great reviews...…...I cannot give them a great review considering the way they treated us. I had zero time to research other wine tours for that day, so THANK YOU Canadian Craft Tours for totally ruining our first day in Vancouver!

After a long search I found a small tour offering to Fraser Valley, that included wine tastings. We were picked up by Canadian Craft Tours' mini-van on West Cordova Street, in downtown Vancouver. Our tour had ten participants and one non-drinking guide/driver named Scott. He had us state our interests and preferences in the wine field.
We then drove for one hour till arriving at Langley City and turned to Backyard Vineyards. At Backyard we were given a short tour of the vines and then led to an outdoor covered area for a light lunch. This included cheese, olives and crackers with four wine samples that followed, notably a simple sparkling red that paired very well with cheese. Lunch was followed by a two-person band playing country songs.
Our second stop was at Cavallo Winery where wines are produced from vineyards in Napa Valley, California, followed by a third stop at Township 7 Vineyards & Winery, located in South Langley, where we had a top quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Four tastings were offered at each winery.
One hour drive later we returned back to our original drop-off point at West Cordova Street in downtown Vancouver.

This was a birthday surprise from my boyfriend after I had enjoyed a tour in the Okanagan. I was really excited to be able to experience something similar with him and to learn more about our local wineries in our area. The pick up was painless, the bus was clean and air conditioned.
Our driver knew a lot about the current sociopolitical climate, and while driving us down East Hastings made very clear the problems that Vancouver was facing. To my boyfriend and I, it's no big deal, but I wondered how the groups from Britain and South Africa thought of it.
The first winery was really pleasant, especially the grazing platter and tour at the first winery. The other two were really quick, in and out, and we seemed to arrive later than expected and had to be accommodated. The driver seemed to know everyone there so we were seated fine, but it felt a little rough around the edges.
One thing that has stuck with me was that my boyfriend was the only man there, so I was only every referred to as "X's Girlfriend/wife/partner/whatever".
I wish we had just found a friend to dd us in the valley, seemed like a lot of money for a talk about the opioid crisis and a reminder that we'll never be able to afford a home in Vancouver because of foreign real estate investment. I get it, I live here.
5 stars for Vista D'oro Winery thought, we'll be back on our own time for sure.
