        Capilano Visit
I would highly recommend this tour. Both Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge park were amazing, although it was foggy on the mountain which limits views. Our guide Anthony was very informative and personable.

        Grouse Mountain Tour September 2024
Anthony our driver and guide was awesome. He really made the trip enjoyable. Provided very detailed explanation of each stop. Seeing the Bears at the top of Grouse Mountain was awesome. The bird of prey exhibit was awesome. Definitely recommend seeing both of them. The suspension bridge across the river was a lot of fun as was the cliff walk. Great views of the forest and river below. However, the best part was walking between the big trees on the various small suspension bridges. This tour is a must do while in Vancouver.

        Stunning views, fascinating guide
I've been on a few coach tours before but none with a guide as knowledge or engaging as Alex, who had fascinating experience and insight on every aspect of the trip, from downtown Vancouver to Whistler and everywhere in-between. This included the historic, cultural and commercial contexts of the area, even the geology. The views from atop the Gondola were stunning. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vancouver.

        Basic city tour
Communication after booking was great. I received confirmation immediately and follow up emails regarding meeting place and time. The tour guide was pleasant and very accommodating of those guests in the group with mobility issues. However, it was a little hard to understand him over a microphone with his accent. He also pointed out places to eat - although he knew he was dropping us at the airport and we would not be able to stop at any of them. Maybe it was for other guests? I would have liked to have stopped at more landmarks for photos instead of driving past them so quickly or even gotten more information on those sights. The stops we did have felt rushed so maybe more time overall was needed. In general, it was a good tour, just not exceptional.

        Great way to explore Vancouver.
We only had one day to explore Vancouver and this was an excellent way to do it. There were 16 stops on the route and we found the busses frequent and the guides on the buses friendly and knowledgeable.

Hop off not on this bus tour
Hop on hop off tours are usually very informative, unfortunately this one was so lacking in fun city information. All that was spoken about was the high cost of living in Vancouver. A few gas stations were pointed out and dog parks! Really, this had to be the worst tour I have ever taken in 40 years of my travels. It didn’t even matter that the microphone was so close to the drivers mouth it was inaudible to most of the passengers on the bus. To add insult to injury, the plastic window slid down and the bus driver did not know how to adjust the plastic so we could not see out of the bus. I will not book another greyline tour, I’ll stick to the local guides in the future.

Unfortunately not very good.. Extremely uncomfortable
Awful. The bus should be condemned. It was very old, no suspension, unbelievably uncomfortable seating. Better to get a taxi or walk. I am sure it would not be allowed in most other major cities It did go to the main places if interest so served its purpose. In my view Vancouver deserves better.

        Meh!
If we had known how much wasted time there is on this tour we never would have booked. We were picked up promptly at 7:30am, then spent 30 minutes picking up people from other hotels. At that, our guide, Kevin, announced that the 10am ferry we were to go on had a mishap and a "propeller was in the ocean" and we would be on the 11am ferry and we would tour Vancouver till then. Not what we signed up for. Then forced to kill time at the truck stop before boarding the ferry. By the time we got to Butchart it was close to 1pm. For us the gardens and town of Victoria were a big disappointment. Basically a 14 hour trip, with 3 hours spent at attractions. Too much $$ for too little in return. Kevin, the guide, was ok, too many corny jokes.

        Disappointed with this trip.
Was disappointed with this trip. We waited over 30 mins for the bus to pick us up to be taken a few mins down the road to get on another. We were then told the ferry had technical problems so the crossing wasn’t until 10am. The driver just drove around for an hour killing time. This meant our trip was cut short by around 2 hours. When we arrived at Butchard gardens we had to zoom round in 90 mins. Then it was another 45 mins to Victoria where we drove ground and round before being dropped off for our free time. We had 90 mins! We walked quickly back to china town had a great meal and hurried back to the bus. That was our tour ! Back on the bus a bit more driving around before the ferry back. Normally I’d say the commentary is good but not this time. I struggled to understand his accent not his fault but it wasn’t worth the money. Wished we had taken the sea plane

Vancouver hop on hop off tour
Buses are a bit tired. First bus had no guide or commentary. Second one did, which was a vast improvement. Service times are ok. 15-20 minute intervals. Due to the nature of the city layout there isn't much in the way of photo opertunities. But a good way to get your initial bearings in the city

        Victoria and Butchart Gardens
We met our Victoria/ Butchart Gardens tour at Canada Place, at the waters edge in Vancouver British Columbia. Our bus driver and tour guide Alex MacDougall was not only informative, but fascinating. Alex had personal knowledge of the area from having grown up in the area, which he shared with us, throughout the day. Alex kept us informed during the day and into the night as we had to pick up extra passengers as another bus was in need of service. When were waiting for the Victoria ferry ⛴️ Alex made sure we each received a Butchart Gardens pamphlet. When we were visiting the Butchart Gardens and on our return to the bus we had Victoria maps on our seats and Alex had circled each map for our pick up and drop off location. Alex gave us a breakdown of some of the sights and where we could get food or see more sights. We made a stop in Vancouver before we headed to the ferry as that morning one of the bigger ferries had a major break and was now not going to be available until October. We stopped at the Queen Elizabeth Park and Conservatory for a short visit as we needed to take an 11:00 am ferry and this was definitely a beautiful stop and washroom break. At the end of our tour we asked Alex what was going to be our best stop to get back to the garage we had parked in. We would definitely book with Westcoast Sightseeing and most certainly request Alex as our tour guide.

This was a disappointing tour that one could consider a glorified taxi ride to the Capiano Suspension Bridge. While the guide was very nice and super accomodating to us, it didn't make up for the feeling we bought and paid for nothing of much substance. Once we got going from Canada Place, we went directly to the Capilano bridge and spent 2 hours there. After that we were told that, while Granville Island etc was on our tour we would just be driving through since "most things were closing" ... apparently because it was a Monday? We weren't sure. Being at the back of a frigid tour bus only looking at stuff through the windows wasn't exactly what we anticipated. We ended up bailing on the tour in the city, something another family did along with us.

If you're interested in seeing the Capilano Bridge, I'd personally suggest taking an Uber or taxi unless you can be certain the trip itinerary will be fulfilled.

Thank you for your feedback about your tour. It is unfortunate that you did not have a good experience. There is a lot of Vancouver that is still not open to accept visitors which is indeed disappointing. Granville Island is certainly open for visitors but certain locations are temporarily closed or close at different times. Our time spent at Capilano Suspension Bridge is normally around 2 hours to allow visitors to experience as much of the rain forest as possible. We will address the bus air conditioning feedback with the team. We want to be more cognizant of the weather conditions to ensure our guests are comfortable. I urge you to contact out office directly if you have any questions or comments at 1-877-451-1777.

Pick-up driver almost left us out. Had we not approched him. The bus driver's dislike towatrds coloured passengers was being obvious though hew was trying his best to hide it. At the end of the tour the pick-up driver rudely advised us to go walking to our hotel telling it is walkable though we were new to city. Our second tour of victoria and buchhaart garden the pick-up driver never responded to our bus driver's repeated call. Ultimately the bus driver dropped us to our hotel. I will not call this a professional service. I

We were meant to be met in our lobby at 11.30 but no one showed up so we went outside and eventually I found the lady who seemed out of her depth. She crossed my name off and said wait here… After 20 minutes I finally spotted her again across the road (she seemed flustered looking for people) finally she walked us to the bus.
Our guide Graham was jolly and pointed out a few places of interest on way to the bridge.
We got there at 1 and had until 3 to enjoy the area.
Walking across the wobbly bridge snd high forest walk ways was fun. We also listened to talks from two bird handlers with an owl and a hawk.
We had to wait 10 minutes for 2 ladies who cane back onto the bus with shopping bags from the gift shop, thanks for keeping 50 people waiting…
Next stop Granville island where we were given an hour. We strolled through the food market and had a mooch in some of the artisan shops. It’s a nice buzzy area.
We got back to the bus and asked Graham what the drill was now and he said bus back and then shuttle buses to hotels…. Needless to say we just ordered an Uber instead..
If we had realised it was going to be a big coach and basically those two stops we would’ve independently visited both sites.
Both are worth visiting but just do it yourself..

No tour guide on the bus which drops us off no explanation at the suspended walkway where they say sorry you have to wait 45 minutes for your group time or pay $50 each to do the walk. We took an Uber and left and as far as we know no one ever notixed we had left the group.

No explanations no tour guide as promised. Waste of time and money

This is a good way to see some of the highlights of Vancouver by Greyline coaches. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to a central point were we joined our 6 hour tour on a comfortable coach with an excellent guide. This primarily provides
      - a short tour of Vancouver without any stops but with interesting commentary
      - the Capilano Suspension bridge with admission included and where you have about 2 hour free time which is plenty.
      - a stop at Granville Island for about 45 mins.
We were dropped off at our hotel at the end.
I found it a bit expense at c£100 Sterling equivalent each but it was the best way to see the suspension bridge and Granville Island.

Many thanks to Westcoast sightseeing and our guide Mark for a fabulous tour of Vancouver yesterday. We saw so much in 5 hours and as it was raining this was a great way to see and do things. The highlights were the Granville Island markets and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Mark provided an informative commentary with some very corny jokes!! Thanks Mark!

The organisation of the tour was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel on time and taken to join the large bus and our guide Derek. Derek is a local and so was able to give a personal view point to the areas we visited. Often funny but always insightful it made for a very interesting commentary. I also appreciated Derek utilising our time effectively- we made good time due to lighter traffic, so rather than wait at the Capilano car park for our allotted time, we visited the gorge and fisheries further upstream.
The Capilano bridge and tree top tour were excellent.
I found this tour to be a great way to get orientated for the rest of our trip to Vancouver

We really enjoyed this bus tour! The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. He took us all around Vancouver, explaining literally every nuance of the city and answered questions from the group. Lots of stop offs to shop. The Capilano Bridge and Grouse Mountain were especially enjoyable! Highly recommend!

Great driver/guide. Keen to please / deliver and help out my elderly mother but didn’t get that much actual touring for $288 for 2. Three hrs of the 5 hr trip is spent at 2 stops so felt the service was great but the value for money not so Such a pity they won’t allow even modern fold up electric scooters on board as that would have transformed my mothers experience. I appreciate they would need this to be pre booked but there is plenty of space on board for 1 or 2
