Journey into the Strait of Georgia, admire views of the Gulf Islands and listen to enthusiastic guides on board, who share their extensive knowledge of the Pacific Northwest. This tour lasts from three to five hours and enjoys a high success rate in whale sightings — if you don’t see whales, you get a voucher to come back for free!
What to Expect
This tour leaving from the village of Steveston enjoys a high success rate in whale sightings, from orca, to humpbacks and more — so high that if you don't see any whales, you get a voucher to come back for free. Steveston, about a 25-minute drive from downtown Vancouver, is located closer to the marine action, which means that your boat commute time to the whales is usually much shorter.

Your outing will last three to five hours. Before you step aboard the vessel, make sure to pick up lunch from one of Steveston’s many eatery options. Water and snacks are provided on board.

Your captain takes you out into the Strait of Georgia, into the Canadian Gulf Islands, for the ultimate wildlife experience. Keep your eyes peeled for killer whales, humpbacks, seals, sea lions, porpoises and more. Learn about all that you see from the guides on board live and breathe the Pacific Northwest, many of whom participate in the latest whale research along the coast.

Breathtaking Bucket List Experience

These guys were amazing. Decided last minute to join the tour, and have absolutely NO regrets. Captain Rick and Naturalist Clare were fabulous, and of course the stars of the show, the Orcas! Pick up bus driver very friendly. Thank for a lifetime memory
