Vancouver sight seeing trip
I booked on trip advisor with Land sea Tours And it was well worth it, did a small bus tour, our driver and guide Faye was just super. We went thru town ... drove thru Gas Town and Granville and Davie passed by the Hudson Bay Co and to Stanley Park ... had a stop to see the Totem poles Cappilano Bridge ... stop to go across the suspension bridge, also did the tree walk and cliff walk ...Granville Island.. you just have to stop at the brewery ... English Bay A grand day out and for the price brilliant

Not for the faint at heart
I thought the suspension bridge would be a one of a kind of experience, but was pleasantly surprised to learn the history of the Capilano Suspension Bridge which stretches 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. This is not your typical park, it is a rainforest! There is also a CLIFFWALK – a cantilevered walkway clinging to the granite cliff high above Capilano Canyon. Then once you cross the suspension bridge there are washrooms, seating areas, a cafe, and the Treetops Adventure! The Adventure consists of seven suspension bridges through the evergreens taking you up to 100 feet (30m) above the forest floor. This park was a truly amazing experience and a must see and do!! Caution....if you don't like heights or objects that move while walking on them, then you can still enjoy the park history lessons and original store.

Nice tour but long!
Mar 2020
I think I need to stop doing long tours in general, 4 hours max. This one was 7 hours which I knew going in but I thought time would fly by. The good thing is I did get to see the highlights of Vancouver in one day but I guess I thought they'd be more interesting. Lookout Tower was like all other towers (I've been to burj khalifa and empire state building) I actually enjoyed the drive through the neighborhoods and Stanley Park. However my favorite was Granville Island where I found a lovely art gallery! It was wonderful! We stayed the longest at Suspension Bridge which I finished the forest in about an hour. Everything about the tour itself was fine I just think none of the actual sights themselves were that great and I was tired after 7 hours. One great thing about this company is that they split the group up for pick up and drop off which I REALLY APPRECIATE, there is nothing like being the last one on the tour bus after everyone else gets dropped off! Thank you for that!

Great tour
Mar 2020
This was a great tour, I really enjoyed it. It was a small-group tour, 19 people in our case, so you didn't feel like you were part of a tourist herd. Our tour guide, Ed, was fantastic--very knowledgeable, personable, funny, a great communicator, and adept at managing the tour and relating to the participants. I believe he said he had been a coach earlier in his life, and in a way it felt like he was a mature, very competent coach whose goal was to help us "win" at seeing and learning about the highlights of Vancouver (a city he clearly loves) in 7 hours. Highlights for me were the Capilano suspension bridge; seeing the mountains up close at Cleveland Dam, including feeling that incredibly fresh air; the views from Prospect Point in Stanley Park; and having lunch at the Granville Public Market. I saw so many beautiful and interesting things in those 7 hours, it was a terrific experience. Looking forward to taking more Landsea Tours in the future as a result.

Kinda dull
Feb 2020 • Solo
I’m not sure that this is a fair review considering the fact that I’m not that into sight seeing. When I travel I look more for adventure ... so I have a bias. That being said, I just found this tour to be incredibly boring and very expensive for what it is. I would not recommend.

Hi Shahla K, Thank you for your feedback regarding your tour with us. I am always saddened to hear that any of of guests did not enjoy their experience. As you mentioned, you aren't really into sightseeing and are more the adventurous type. You are correct that in no way shape or form is this tour meant to be an adventure, yet more of an experience. It is an opportunity to see, feel and learn about one of the worlds highest ranks city to visit and live in, Vancouver. It also, allows you to experience one of Canada's top 10 experiences at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. In our 35 years of operation, we have toured literally hundreds of thousands of visitors on this tour. This is the first time we have ever had a guest find this tour boring. I do however want to make sure that it is not us, our team or the attraction that is slipping in the delivery of such a world-class product and service. Are you able to contact me so I can hear some more details of your tour, we will always continue to learn and strive to improve anyway that we can. If we are honoured to have you return to Vancouver for a visit, we do have some more adventurous, adrenaline type tours that may suit you better. Our Whistler tour with ziplining, snowmobiling, ATVing, white water rafting or even bungee jumping may interest you more. Either way, we shall take this review as a reminder to the team to always deliver that "wow factor" that made us the most award-winning tour company in Vancouver. I thank you again for your feedback and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kevin Pearce Owner kevin@vancouvertours.com
