    Vancouver Harbour Air Tour
I love flying harbor air for travel, but I think it's absolutely bananas that if you book a seaplane tour over Vancouver with your significant other that you don't get to sit together. There was a couple on our flight who were forced to sit apart - the husband sat in a front middle seat (so he had to peer over a stranger the whole time), and the wife sat at the very back on her own in a single seat. For a flight, I understand, you are just getting from A to B, but a seaplane tour is an expensive adventure that you obviously want to experience with the person you booked with. My sister and I were lucky enough to sit together in a two seater, but why don't they enforce that if you are a single flyer you sit in the single seat, and couples sit in the couple seats? Just bonkers.

Fun getaway only two hours from Seattle
It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a chance to see all of downtown as well as part of the outlying area. I highly recommend this trip if you want to see the city from an aerial view as you, get to enjoy the landscape. The trip itself is 30 minutes, but feels longer.

    Great experience - 10 stars!!!!
We booked the sightseeing flight almost two months ago and were really excited about what to expect. Today, Easter Monday, was the day. As we were early enough at check-in, we were given two tickets for priority boarding. When we arrived at the aircraft, the captain offered to let one of us sit in the co-pilot's seat. As a big aeroplane fan, I didn't need to be told twice. The flight itself was great. We flew towards the mountains, then downtown, past beautiful nature and over blue water. The sun did the rest and bathed Vancouver in a fantastic light. Unfortunately, the 20 minutes went by very quickly. The flight was worth every cent. We will be back and then book a longer flight.

    Must Experience tour of Vancouver
An awesome and exciting way to see Vancouver. Our tour was about 30 minutes and even without a fully sunny day it was well worth the time, energy (and flight anxiety!) we are locals and still really enjoyed ourselves.

    Fabulous first flight.
What an amazing adventure. My first time on a seaplane and it was a great experience. The location is easy to find, the pilot was friendly and informative, and the flight was prefect. Just enough time in the air to see the beautiful downtown and mountain skylines. I highly recommend this sightseeing opportunity.

    Fantastic!
So much fun! The flight provided amazing views of the city and nearby mountains, parks, ocean and ships. We took the 20 minute flight. We would love to come back and do a longer one!

Great flight. Even in overcast conditions the views were awesome. Next time will book a longer flight. 20 mins was just a bit short for us.

    THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY
They stole $800 from us and gave our tickets to other customers, refused to give us a refund or rebook us on another flight- absolute scam- total crooks who steal money from their “clients” avoid this place like the plague they are unethical and have no qualms about ripping off older ladies. We were in town for the Pacific Dental Conference and heard good things about this tour, paid $800, arrived 18 minutes before our flight and were told that we were 2 minutes too late and they’d given our tickets away (even though there was nothing about a check in time on the confirmation page). You absolutely cannot in good conscience keep our $800 and then give away our seats when we are there ready to get on the plane and refuse to give us a refund. This is highway robbery, do not do business with this company!!

    Best 20 minutes ever!
I was so impressed with everything about this tour, from the front desk with the nice, helpful staff, to the waitress in The Cock Pit Cafe who was so kind to me, to the pilot and the folks who handled the actual plane ride. The take off and landing was super smooth and the pilot made sure to do a full circle of Vancouver so that every passenger could take pictures and video from all directions. Best 20 minutes ever!!!!

Very well organized charter. The weather was great for Vancouver. Pilot was very good too. Overall great experience.
The view was amazing and weather was great for Vancouver for this time of the year. Everyone was very professional. We really enjoyed our short flight around Vancouver downtown and harbour area. Seeing the city from the bird eye view was special.

    Co-pilot 👍🏻
I had originally booked for early morning 10.30 but my flight was postponed due to foggy weather, so I was rescheduled for 12.30. When we got to the plane the lovely pilot asked if anyone wanted to be co-pilot so I threw my hand up and got to go in the cockpit with him. Had a great view over the city and a great experience. 100% the best thing to do in Vancouver!

    Thumbs down
Harbour air sent a text message “informing me that I had 4 minutes left to check in” I was there at 11:01 instead of 11, when they told me I was unable to get on my flight that left 25 minutes later, I had to pay again for the next flight, when asked why even send a text, they said to give me another chance , what chance Is 4 Minutes???, also , if they had made the signage more clear I wouldn’t have spent 10 minutes trying to figure out where to go and I would have been there at 10:50 however the signage was confusing and I got lost. Bad experience all around, the agent was incredibly frustrating and unkind aswell. The only thing they did was tell me they gave my seat away and I would need to pay again.. but don’t worry they’ll make me pay another 100$ instead of 120 . Other than that it was okay, the pilot was nice and the plane back was 30 mins delayed

This is the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in my entire life. Despite the trip being only from Vancouver to Victoria, it was an horrible experience. Everything was very disorganized, staff were rude, there were fees charged for almost anything (the employees get commissions from this for sure). Overall, a terrible experience, I would not suggest this airline even to my worse enemy. I don’t usually hold grudges against airlines as in my experience they all have flaws, but my experience as a customer here was simply horrible.

So I’m a very experienced traveler and not one prone to complain about little things. And I do read terms and conditions. I booked a one way flight from YVR to Victoria which allowed greater than 4 hours after landing in YVR from LAX. Well beyond my control however my USA flight got delayed over and over and over. I called HA reservations to try and get a later flight arranged. The agents response was simple. “No options. Tough. You lose your money. Goodbye.”
A very disappointing experience when in the past I’ve had some similar interactions which were far more empathetic and helpful. HA is down one customer. Since they’re basically a monopoly I guess they won’t really care.

James, we're sorry to hear of this experience. We understand the stress of not making a connecting flight, and are sorry to hear we were unable to waive this fee. Whenever a guest cannot make their flight, and their fare class does not allow changes, we are pleased to write a letter for insurance purposes. Please do connect with us at customercare@harbourair.com if this is something you'd benefit from. - Harbour Air Team

A very good smooth and efficient flight.
I would definitely say this is the best way to get from Van to Vic or vice versa.
Only grumble is we were charged for excess baggage only to be told 10 mins later that this was in error.
Money out money back so a minor problem really.

the whole experience of flying on a seaplane from Vancouver harbour, landing at Victoria harbour then flying back to Vancouver was something to remember as never done a flight from water to water, the view was amazing so many little islands scattered about, boats here, there and everywhere and the noise from the twin otter was just crazy but nice.
It isn't cheap but very enjoyable, even my other half who isn't a big fan of flying said it was very enjoyable.
the first flight I wasn't by the window but the second flight I took a video of the journey as I was by the window and had my camcorder with me.

This return day trip was to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and did not disappoint. There was a "smog" from the recent BC Fires further North at a certain height, but this did not distract from the flights where there were fantastic views for most of the time. The check-in at both Vancouver & Victoria were both so smooth and the complementary drinks appreciated. If time on Vancouver Island is limited, book early for a keen fare and enjoy the ride!

Looking to get over to Victoria for a day trip while visiting Vancouver? Forget about the headaches and time consumption of the crowded ferries and grab a seat on one of Harbour Air’s 14 or 18 seat seaplanes! Safe, smooth and comfortable, you’ll get a gorgeous bird’s eye view of the surrounding cities, towns, waterways and islands on your way from Vancouvers harbour to Victoria’s harbour, plus save two hours of ferry hassle each way. And if your lucky like me, the pilot will let you take the extra seat up in the cockpit. Amazing!!!

My flight was cancelled due to the smoke in Vancouver. I got a personal call from the company to alert me to the change in plans, and they let me rebook for the next day- for no extra charge. Then, my new flight was cancelled again owing to the smoke, and I was notified right away. Every time I have used Harbour Air, I am always satisfied; the people who work there are genuinely kind, very organized and highly professional. I would recommend them to any of my close family and friends!

this was one of the best things we did while we were in Vancouver! I'm so glad we did this. My husband told me he will never do it again as he did not enjoy how bumpy the ride was. The views of Vancouver harbor and Victoria harbor are truly stunning. We enjoyed the lighthouses you could see while flying over. The first flight we were flying in the rain and had no issues at all. I really like that they cover your luggage for you in plastic so your items don't get wet. Thank you for a terrific experience. my 12 year old daughter enjoyed it also.

You always get a window seat! The Twin Otter plane is super fun, and the views were spectacular. I did this trip both ways, and it was super easy, and probably the same price as the ferry if you account for all the TIME i saved. We all know, time is money...
