    What to Expect
Visit: The Calgary Zoo, 1300 Zoo Rd NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 7V6 Canada

Your experience arrives from the moment you pull in to the parking lot or arrive by city transit at the Calgary Zoo. If arriving by vehicle please pay for parking when you arrive or prior to departure. Parking is not included in your admission.

Present you voucher for admission at one of Guest Relations windows at the outdoor North Entrance or inside the tunnel directly in front of the turnstiles. Our team will exchange your voucher for a ticket to grant you access to the park. Once you have your ticket proceed to the turnstiles where our staff will scan your ticket for entry.

Once inside the park you can explore the zoo at your leisure. Popular areas for our tourist guest are the Canadian Wilds where you can experience some of the Rocky Mountains most iconic animals; brand new in 2017, the barrier-free Land of Lemurs habitat where you walk directly among red fronted and ring tail lemurs; and the iconic Panda Passage experience. Journey through the state of the art habitat and encounter our 4 giant pandas and learn about what makes them special.

The Calgary Zoo offers amenities such as multiple food venues, washrooms and retail services to meet your needs throughout your visit.

The average visit to the Calgary Zoo is about 4 hours.

It was very fun, we were there in the afternoon and most of the animals were very active so that was great. We spent the most time at the Canadian animals and it was very entertaining.
