Brilliant day out, would highly recommend. The trip covers loads of ground so you get to see lots of the most beautiful spots around. Lunch is included and we also got cookies and hot chocolate in the morning :) Plenty of time is allowed in the schedule for animal spotting whilst driving from place to place- we saw elk, a grizzly bear, a black bear, deer and others. Our driver and host, Andrew and Mel were both fantastic- really knowledgable and friendly and clearly passionate about showing us all the sights.

Wow what an amazing day. Our driver Andre was fantastic. Andre shared alot of information and history about Banff and area. One of the things we did was go up a hill backwards and go down backwards. The tour stopped at Lake Louise, Maligne Lake, Spiral Mountain,Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls. Lunch was included. Lunch was soup, salad and a bison hot dog. There are also vegetarian options. I highly recommend this tour. I give this tour a 10/10. We had to wear masks on the bus. Andre even had cookies for us.

I absolutely adored this tour. The tour itself is just an absolute 10/10 day trip - there are four main stops with other quick pull overs on route. The stops are really well timed (not too much driving time in between) and there’s plenty of time to relax and take pictures at each. Taking the bus tour completely takes the stress out of driving & you can pay attention to the amazing views around you.

Special shout out to our guide, Jim. He was so knowledgeable on the surrounding area and it’s history. The tour was engaging and interesting. I felt the information shared help to better connect the guests to the local area and the way Jim commentated really elevated that experience.

Thank you!!

Mike McCormack - fantastic day trip, thank you so much. This is a required thing to do if in Banff-Jasper Parks for just a few days. You will be treated so well, and will see so many beautiful places. You will learn about the places and the animals that live there. Good rapport with all others and parks staff. All were so happy to be there and wave us through right up to the lakes and waterfalls. Special surprises await....

I was hesitant to book this trip at first because of the cost, but I am so glad I did. It was worth every penny. The coach bus picked up my girlfriend and I at our hotel and I was immediately impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the bus. The bus was very comfortable and clean. Throughout the drive our driver provided lots of anecdotes and insights about the area. It was like listening to a podcast about Banff and the surrounding area while taking in all the sights.

After visiting lake louise and a short hike up the rock pile at Morraine lake, we were offered our choice of snacks and a hot beverage (as it was cool and threatening rain at that point). This was my favourite part of the trip. Morraine lake was stunning - truly breath taking. It is one of those spots where pictures truly don't do justice to the sheer majesty of the mountains overlooking the spotless teal lake.

We made our way to kicking horse pass and looked for the trains to enter the tunnels that go through the mountains. We missed one by 10 minutes apparently. Oh well.

We then stopped for lunch at emerald lake. The food was basically a good sized burger and a salad. It was a decent size lunch, and tasted good for what it was.

During this lunch we met a family who booked this trip after trying to see the same sights on their own without the tour. They told us that it was impossible because the parks close a lot of the sites to the public throughout the day as the parking becomes quite full. For this alone, the tour is worth the price, you basically get VIP treatment to the most popular parts of the park without any of the hassles of doing it on your own.

From here we were off to Takakkaw Falls to see a waterfall that is actually two water falls. It was a short hike in from the parking lot but totally worth it.

Another cool thing about this trip is that the bus driver decided to take a detour home for the opportunity to see some more wildlife. I thought that was a cool improvisation that added to the already high customer experience we were having.

TL;DR - All in all, I could not be MORE satisfied with this trip. Great experience and the price is well worth it. I've already recommended this tour to all of my friends considering travel to Bannf.

Long story short, we mistakenly thought it was 8:30 the pick up time and we called Brewster to meet the group somewhere. The operator said he didn't know the coach driver's number nor the coach's plate number, just told us to go to the Fairmont Hotel there would be only one Brewster coach. My friend didn't understand why he couldn't provide either the info and she insisted on getting it. Then the operator was like "Oh my god! You're not listening!" I could understand why both parties were not happy but the operator was not professional: not calm nor try to explain why nor offer you a solution. Anyways we pulled over 3 Brewsters coaches along the way near Fairmont Hotel and we finally made it. I have to say our Kiwi tour guide was so much more professional and he's knowledgeable and helpful. But the operator's attitude ruined my day. It was Oct 5th.

Hello shana2018693, Thank you for providing Brewster Sightseeing with this feedback. We would like to apologize for the interaction you had with a phone operator on this particular day. We do know which coach is doing which tour everyday so it is unclear where the miscommunication was occurring. We are looking at improving our ability to locate guests who are not at their specified pickup location as we want everyone to experience the Sightseeing tours even if they missed their pickup. Again thank you for your feedback.

Went on two tours while in Banff this week: Mountain Lakes and City Tour with Gondola. Both were very good. Both were pickup and drop off at hotel. But be aware: the hotel pickup on the city tour was a preliminary to the immediate drop off at their central terminal, to transfer to another bus with folks collected from other hotels. That’s not really bad, because that transfer takes less time than jumping from hotel to hotel to collect everyone. Just be aware that the first 45 minutes of a 4 hour tour is taken up by this task. Small downside comment.
Beyond that, these people ( organization, schedulers, drivers, guides) work together to provide a seemless experience. Busses were clean and relatively comfortable ( and wife and I are tall, wide people).
Based on these two experiences, I wouldn’t hesitate going on any of their tours.
Mountain Lakes: Driver-Guide was Colin—Safe, aware driver with good commentary. Knew his territory, and knew when and where to go to see the wildlife(two black bear, mountain sheep and goats, Elk, mule deer, all on a single day trip).
Banff City tour with Gondola: “City” is a bit misleading since most of what you see is outside Banff City, but nearby. Having looked at the surrounding mountains for several days, one wouldn’t think viewing from the top would be any different ... until you ride the Gondola to the top. Breathtaking.
I didn’t find anything on either tour that would preclude people with mobility problems from enjoying either, provided they can get onto the bus initially. There are frequent on-and-off stops, so getting on and off ability will be put to the test. There were at least two people in wheelchairs at the top op the Gondola ride ( tho I cannot say they were part of a Brewster tour).

I’m in town for work and decided last minute to sign up for the Mountain Lakes and Waterfall Day trip from Banff. The scenery was amazing! I highly recommend this tour! However, in my opinion, the bus driver/tour guide, Patrick O’Connor is what made this my favorite guided tour I’ve ever taken! His knowledge never ceased to amaze me. He talked the perfect amount, not too much not too little. He was simply a plethora of information and a joy to be around. Thank you Patrick for making my fun day so special! My only regret is that hubby wasn’t with me to experience the scenery and the awesome tid bits of info that Patrick gave us along the way.

We did this trip in mid June and would thoroughly recommend it. It was our 2nd day with Genesis as our driver and our host this time was George. There were lots of different elements to the tour including a look at the Spiral Tunnels, a feat of rail engineering, which Genesis had timed to perfection as we saw a train using it (it has to be seen to understand how cleverly it works). The Takakkaw Falls had only opened for the season that week so we were the first tour of the season to go there. The whole day's scenery was spectacular and a really relaxing way to see so much and to glean so much information from our guides. The lunch at Emerald Lake Lodge was lovely and well organised. Well worthwhile.
