Highlights
  • Watch the sunset over Tonle Sap Lake
  • Buffet dinner and open bar at the Queen Tara Floating Restaurant
  • Live on-board commentary ensures you don’t miss anything
  • Hassle-free round-trip transportation from Siem Reap hotels
What to Expect
After pickup from your Siem Reap hotel, you’ll travel to the port at Chong Kneas by air-conditioned minivan, stopping to admire the lotus fields and rice paddies along the way. On arrival, hop aboard a small boat for a cruise around the floating village of Chong Kneas and gain an insight into local life as you see the stilted houses, floating markets, and schools.
Stop to visit a crocodile and fish farm on the way to your dinner venue—the Queen Tara Floating Restaurant, which is the biggest boat on the lake. Once on-board, tuck into a delicious buffet dinner and make the most of the open bar, as you gaze out over the lake.
After dinner, transfer back to the port by small boat, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your Siem Reap hotel.

A little disappointed, or maybe I was expecting too much? not sure... the tour guide is very knowledgable and nice, but the trip itself not as much. It wasn't really a floating village as I expected, it was more like 4, 5 boats chained together...More

Thanks for your review, yes our guide told us the boat did break down for 30 mins until the driver could fix the problem, broken fan belt and this stopped the engine from cooling, quite a quick fix, as the boat had a spare belt...More

We had a really good time on this tour and were provided with lots of information too. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The sunset view on the boat was beautiful and the unlimited cocktails / soft drinks / beer went down a treat.

After a pick up from our hotel we stopped at a lotus farm for a while. 5 minutes there would have been enough but we were left staring at the local dogs and their pups for about 20 minutes in unbearable heat. Then on to...More

I visited in October. The weather was hot, but bearable, with occasional afternoon showers. Did not take the lake tour, but visited a connected shore. The water seemed at a normal level. Since this is soon after monsoon I... More
