Our "tour guide" was not a tour guide at all, but just a driver. He spoke no English and said about 2 words to us the entire day. He spoke so little English that he couldn't even answer basic questions, much less give an in depth tour and history of the area. He offered no guidance on where to eat for lunch, and took us to only one of the places that we were told we would see. Once we arrived in Guanajuato, we were completely on our own to figure everything out. When I complained to the tour company and asked for a refund, I was gaslit and told that he spoke English, but was a new tour guide and was "nervous." I don't know about you, but when I get nervous, I don't entirely forget how to speak the language I was hired to speak. This company is untrustworthy. Do not give them a dime.

Daniel demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about the area, blending history, culture, and local anecdotes. What set him apart was his intuitive understanding of our group’s dynamic. We were a bit of a wandering bunch, easily distracted by unexpected sights and detours, yet he remained patient and flexible throughout. He skillfully adapted the itinerary on the go, ensuring we never felt rushed while still covering all the highlights.

The trip started a little frustrating. We were told we were going to be picked up by 10 AM, we waited in the lobby and nobody was showing up. The hotel representative tried calling the number that was on our voucher and the number was disconnected. I tried calling Trip advisory to get some help. All they could say is that they could confirm that the trip was booked. We needed to know if we had somebody coming to pick us up or not because we had already waited for an hour. The representative could not get a hold of the company either. We waited a bit longer and finally decided to call and cancel our trip. As soon as I hung up the phone with the representative, the driver pulled up. And at the same time, I got a call from the tour company saying that the driver they had originally contracted had stomach issues and could not make it so at the last minute they got Fernando. After all this, Fernando gave us the tour that we paid for. It was a wonderful tour wonderful site. He had a lot of knowledge. The actual tour was a great experience and we would totally do it again. The only complaint we have is that we were not notified earlier that it was going to take longer to pick us up. If we would’ve known this would’ve not been such a nightmare.

Daniel was very prompt, courteous and professional. Our ride was absolutely wonderful. You have to remember you are driving through where people live and there needs to be some way of knowing how much we have.

Our transfer was excellent. Great communication with our driver Fabrisio; Our meeting point and what he was wearing so we could easily identify him. Would highly recommend. He also provided us with some good touristy information.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. Even though there was a light rain he showed us more than what was expected.

DO NOT USE TEBJX, They did not show up to pick up a family of 4 with children for a transfer from BJX to San Miguel de Allende without any explanation. And when calling them to reconfirm the return, nobody answered the phone after many attempts! Very bad business practice!

since 2018, Letty and Sergio with Viajes San Miguel and Silver Wheels have made sure I got to visit dad every month and since he passed, twice a month. never a missed pick up, mechanical failure.

Well I thought Guanajuato was a lot closer to San Miguel de Allende but I was wrong! Lol.. some of us got a bit car sick and the driver was extremely nice and patient. We definitely went at our pace. No rushing us in and out of anywhere. Stopped for us to get off and buy some meds and water. They have a set itinerary but you go at your own pace and can modify any part of it. Very informative and kept my father entertained! He loves to talk and the driver was his perfect match! Driver definitely went the extra mile by dropping off my parents at their hotel after he dropped us off. I would definitely book them all over again.

I hesitated to review our trip because I've forgotten our tour guide's name. But he was courteous and helpful above and beyond. Views and places visited are either things I allways wanted to do or thing's I didn't know I wanted to do. As a Mexican, the house and tomb of JA Jimenez is a must do, the historic value of Dolores, and the amazing views of San Miguel de Allende are memories to be cherised.

Both the tour of Guanajuato and the tour guide were excellent. Fabrício is very knowledgeable about Mexican history, as well as history of Guanajuato. We visited the mummies, the Diego Rivera Museum, the market, and several other spots. He was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. I dropped my glasses and lost the pin holding them together, and he took the time to find an optician to repair them on the spot. Highly recommend the tour, and this excellent tour guide, Fabrício.

Our Guide was wonderful! He was well-informed and patient. He took us to ihe most interesting places and allowed us to experience local culture. He was fun and we thoroughly enjoyed his company and the tour! I highly recommend him!

Views were amazing! It’s really nice to have a private tour guide to show us the sites and the history of the place. Lots of walking but you don’t even notice because there’s so many things to see. 1 day is definitely not enough.

Fabricio picked us up at our place in SMD in a clean, comfortable car and drove us to Guanajuato. We toured the mummy museum, the mining museum, and several beautiful churches and had a completely terrific lunch. We saw the site of the first battle of the war of independence, which Mexico lost. We traveled through an amazing web of underground tunnels. We went to the Diego Rivera museum. Before we decided on this tour, we wondered if maybe we should take a bus and tour ourselves around. We are so glad we didn't do that! Fabricio had many interesting things to say about history and culture! We increased our knowledge of Mexico and had a completely wonderful day! Now we are exhausted and happy. We highly recommend this tour.

Fabricio, the guide, was almost one hour late and never really apologized. He did make up the time at the end. He was quite knowledgeable, but had a very set agenda and didn’t seem interested in whether we had other preferences. Very friendly. Took us to a very good restaurant for lunch.
