- Sfynboe00Full day with best guide and driverBenjamin and Alejadro made the day great. Good mix of visits, driving, drinking and eating. We will recommend all to go on this trip.
- Hitoshima00Educational!Benjamin and Jorge did a great job, and the tour was very educational too! We had this activity on the 1st day in Chile, and it helped us heaps as Benjamin taught us a lot about Chilean culture. And the scenery was better than what we hoped for! Thank you:)
- OsvaldoNT00Recommended TourVery nice tour, Portillo is breath taking beautiful, great winery visiting. Amy, Benjamin and Jorge did a great work.
- Yreall00Day to the andesThere's a lot of excursions to pick from that basicly say the same thing, but pick this one! I'm glad I did. after pickup we had a stop for cofee/snacks/cash/toilets ect. We made stops in a vineyard and had some nice wines. After that we made a stop over at a lama place. Then you drive 28 switches backs up the mountain and come to the gorgeous inca glacier. The picture don't do it any justice. On the way down we had a nice lunch. After that everyone got dropped off. I hate busses, but I have enjoyed every single minut of the trip. Would 100% Recommend. Benjamin was an amazing guide, fun and knowledgeable. Talked us through the whole day. Incredible driver too, felt very safe driving through the mountains with him.
- Stay4802771130800Book this amazing experience!!I am so happy I booked this experience! I was very lucky to join a great group of solo travelers and couples from around the world. I had the privilege of being guided by Benjamin and Sammy, who were very professional, knowledgeable, and funny (a bonus for me)! Our driver, Jorge, was friendly, punctual with my morning hotel pickup, and was an excellent driver. The experience was planned well — I wouldn’t have been able to do something unique like this on my own. I really enjoyed the wine tasting at San Esteban Winery and learning more about the history/geography of Chile and the Andes.
- G5881BYjakubk00Great experience!Benjamin, Jorge and Sami are an amazing team and gave us an unforgettable experience! I definitely recommend them for this trip.
- linx4u2c00Wine Tasting TripThis trip was spectacular, I had the pleasure of having Benjamin as my tour guide and Jorge as my driver. The communication to coordinate pickup before the trip was flawless and easy. Benjamin was charismatic and knowledgeable. He put a great deal into the wine tasting which was beautiful scenic and informative. The whole trip to the Andes was perfectly narrated Chilean history, making the drive feel short and enjoyable. The views at the lake were spectacular and Jorge navigated the journey into the mountains effortlessly. we ended the day petting llamas and enjoying the sunset in the Andes as we drove back to Santiago. I highly recommend this trip.
- Vee C00On time, several stops, worth the day trip, llamas were a bit disappointingGood experience and fast and service. Our guide was friendly, informative and helpful. The schedule was on time and it felt like a quick retreat away from the city. Everything went well !
- Karel S00An unforgettable trip combining wine tasting and superb scenery in the Andes, incl. Inca Lake and the mountainsThe whole trip was a special experience! The wine tasting at Underaga Winery was amazing: the staff had prepared small eats to go with the wine, were knowledgeable, pleasant and welcoming and offered us an absolutely special red wine called Carmenere in addition to other great wines like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
- Patrick S00Great tour to sample the Andes from SantiagoOverall a fun tour! If you are based in Santiago and want to get a taste of the Andes, this is the time to do it! We got to see a little bit of snow at the Portillo ski resort but we were likely to have been one of the last tours to do this, as the forecast was showing heavy snow for at least the next week; also June is winter here in the southern hemisphere so jackets are a must! But definitely beautiful landscape, one of the highest regions outside of the Himalayas, and especially being from a low lying area was very impressive. The tour guide Benjamin was a great guide, he provided background on Chile’s history, the economy, as well as talked about the seismic history of the region. Definitely recommend this tour if your priority is to see the Andes mountains!
- JenAndBobbi00Fantastic day at Inca Lagoon with Benjamin!I generally find that booking day trips through Viator is the best way to see the highlights of a locale, and this tour did not disappoint. Our local guide, Benjamin, was wonderful. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, and his enthusiasm for the subject matter was evident. The wine tasting that started the day was lovely and featured delicious wine and local fruit and nuts, and the visit to Inca lagoon was the highlight of our time around Santiago. There is no way to share the stunning beauty and magnitude of the Andes mountains in a review, so I will leave it to you to make the choice - book this tour. And while I’m sure all of the guides are excellent, your experience will be special if you are lucky enough to spend the day with Benjamin.
- Kerry M00Nice tripClean, comfortable van. Amazing scenery. Good wine stop. Guide ok. Llama stop not worth it. Had 13 of us on the trip, so it takes an hour or so to pick up everyone and then another to drop off.
- LionelSmith6200Great TourHector the guide was awesome and his driver was good too. Great experience and good English communication skills, made it worth it!
- 17aliyahm00Must do!!Amazing tour!! Hector was the best and very knowledgeable! The wine tasting was fun and had the best strawberries. The views at Laguna del Inca are gorgeous, like it’s from a postcard. The llamas were a great end to the tour:) couldn’t recommend this tour enough.
- Global2473330436100Wonderful Experience from start to finishHector and Jorge provided a wonderful day tour experience. You could tell both we’re passionate and proud of their country and wanted to educate everyone as well as they could during the day on everything we were experiencing. Everything was just top notch from the timeliness and promptness of the hotel pickup to the tasty wine, amazing views at Portillo, and the llama farm. I would highly recommended this to anyone looking for a great way to get out of Santiago and explore nearby areas of Chile. It does make for a full day but you’re getting what you pay for and is worth every dollar

Casablanca is definetely worth to visit. The driver was careful, the guide was knowledgeable, but there’s 2 things that I didn’t like on this tour…
1. The guide kept on doing stupid jokes while he explained things. In the first it was funny, but then it was just stupid. I’m sure he could explain more things instead of do jokes. And he kept on trying to sell other tours to us, it doesn’t seem professional.
2. The vineyards we went were amazing, 2 big ones and 2 small ones. All high premium wines, but you just enter them to taste, literally. You get there, they explain very fast about the wines, you taste and leave. The guide kept on hurrying us, we had no time to enjoy, relax, and even “explore” the vineyards. He was saying “the next one is better and smaller you can buy there”.
I honestly think this could be slower and more relaxing, instead of trying to fit 4 vineyard from 9:30 to 12:30.

Good morning as we do to all our reviews thank you for the feedback according to your personal experience.
1. The guide makes the experience be educated and fun. We do not accept this treatment to one of our guides. Stupid is not acceptable. Actually we received the feedback of the rest of the group that day . And were greatfull of the guide making them enjoy the day. Meaning we respect this is very personal.
2. He mentioned that we had availability for the next day to the mountain since a couple of the group asked and he made it clear to the rest . He di not dedicate to sell tours.
3. This is wine tasting tour and wineries give us there availability. And this must be respected and the person in charge of making the whole day work is the guide. And he also mentions this in the begging of the tour. We have other tours where you can stay in just 1 winery to wonder the area.
We visit 3 wineries for the tastings. And have lunch at a 4th tanino restaurante.
We think we have cleared the different points mentioned in this review.
This is a trip where we invite people to taste chilean wines at beautiful wineries. And also to have fun and enjoy
KInd Regards
Alexandra

What a wonderful way to spend the day! Our fun and knowledgeable tour guide Gabriel made the valley and the country come alive with stories and information. The vineyards we visited were passionate about their wine but very low key. The lunch was excellent - eating great food in a beautiful vineyard. Highly recommended!

Our guide, Gabriel was very prompt and informative throughout the whole day which we really appreciated. He was an excellent guide who took us for tastings at three beautiful wineries and a fourth one for lunch, where we did tastings on our own with lunch. Each winery has different offerings so it was a different tasting experience at each stop. We enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing the beauty of the Chilean countryside. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Don’t hesitate to book if you enjoy wine and beautiful scenery.

We took this winery tour and it was excellent. We went to Veramonte, Villard and Bodegas Re with a lunch stop at Tanino restaurant at Casas del Bosque. Each winery was beautiful and very different from each other with a full tasting and an explanation. Lunch was fancy and tasty and as a group with the other people on the tour. (We were 8 total, my husband and I included). Our guide Benjamin was friendly and did a great job handling all the details so we could enjoy. Our driver Jorge did a good job too. We were picked up and dropped at our hotel which was very convenient especially after all the wine tasting. Everyone spoke to us in English so we didn’t miss any of the details in any of the talks. The tour company kept in contact with us so we were confident everything would go smoothly. Truly a beautiful day well spent.

This full day tour (March 31, 2023) was one of the best highlights of a week in Santiago. The 3 vineyards each were distinct in their operations and wine offerings, which made the tour interesting. Several wines were spectacular and I think most if not all the guests on tour purchased something (we bought a couple bottles). Sometimes it was possible to request (and, obviously, pay extra to taste) a wine that was not part of the planned tasting, but don’t just assume that will be allowed. The outdoor vistas were impossibly gorgeous all day. My friend and I had dinner plans that night and weren’t necessarily wanting to eat at the restaurant, Tanino, but in hindsight that was one of the best restaurants we tried all week. The tour group was very fun and outgoing, and our guide spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable and encouraged us to enjoy the day while keeping us from getting behind schedule. Great tour, my first full day wine tour experience was a great one thanks to Isto e Chile!

Benjamin our guide and Jorge our driver were both incredible. Benjamin is very knowledgable and gives you remarkable insight into the history and culture of the sites that you are visiting.
The wineries in the Casablanca valley we visited were all top notch and the wine was absolutely world class. I was fortunate enough to be part of a group that developed a lot of camaraderie and the final lunch spot was the perfect opportunity to cement the friendly dynamic of the group. Overall the tour far exceeded my expectations and was the highlight of my trip to Chile. Gracias Benjamin y Jorge and to my fellow tourists, it was a pleasure to have met you.

We had an amazing experience on this wine tour! Gabriel, our guide, was incredibly informative, funny, warm, and very organized, and our driver Alejandro was excellent. All three wineries have generous pours and provided lots of really interesting information about how they grow their grapes (all are organic and the wines were absolutely delicious) as well as the unique ways they ferment them to create such great tasting wines. It was fun to try both Chilean white wines as well as many of their reds (Carmener, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and a couple of excellent red blends). The lunch place was also delicious and so worth it; they even catered to my dairy allergy and it was pretty reasonably priced for the high quality of the food, wine, and the service. All in all, a terrific day and we can’t recommend the Isto e Chile wine tour highly enough!

I loved this day, it was beautiful. Hector confirmed and picked up on time. Toured 3 wineries, the first was Villard it was so scenic very comparable to Sonoma CA. the wine sommelier was knowledgeable and friendly really enjoyed the wine and ambiance. The 2nd was Vinamar also a real beautiful place to enjoy bubbles and take pictures. The 3rd was RE Noir it was in a cave and the offered 2 pours for an extra cost. The place was really nice. So my only complaint is that the 3rd stop costed extra and who is going to go there and not taste? So I think that the 3 should be included and the RE Noir only pour two tastings and they were very small pours. I really enjoyed the lunch stop at Tanino it feels like paradise. So enjoy the moment and it really is a blessing to spend the day in Casablaca

Victor was an excellent guide! He’s very funny, entertaining and told us a lot about Chilean culture and history. We went to superb wineries. My favorite was Villard, a boutique winery with a clear passion for winemaking as evidenced by their amazing wine selection! Lunch was at charming Tanino Restaurant and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this tour!

We had an excellent time. Gabriel was super friendly and knowledgeable and talked to us the entire way to the Casablanca Valley. We went to 3 wineries for tastings, and had a fantastic lunch at the 3rd stop as well. The two other small groups on the tour were very friendly as well, and we enjoyed sharing our tastings with them. For being the middle of winter we had excellent weather (60F and sunny)I definitely would recommend this tour to anyone!
