This trip was AMAZING!!! Roberto and his collegue made the experience really worth it! We saw so many animals! Roberto even took the chance to go 30min further because another boat saw the Wales. It Made our activity 1,5h longer than originally planned, but was no problem at all for them! Thanks to their flexibility, we saw Some amazing whales. Want to go whale & dolphin spotting? I communicated with Robert through Whatsapp by English. We have no problem to communicate at all. The taxi pick me up at my hotel early morning 6:40 am. Robert sub-agency the tour boat at beach. I was very fortunate to join a great boat captain who is very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us many Whales ,hundreds of dolphin and turtles. Most important he found a whale shark swimming around the shore. I was able to watch so closely to watch friendly whale shark swimming around the boat. It is a very rare experience and I will never forget it. Highly recommend dolphin tour!

My friend and I went this morning- we've never seen so many dolphins at once and we got to swim/snorkel with them for a few minutes! We also got to see three or four humpback whales and not too far from the boat and we ended with seeing some of the giant sea turtles. This was truly a special experience and our guide was fantastic.

Unfortunately I strongly advise not to book with Robert Ecotour. The tour itself isnt carried out by them, but by a subagency and there is an excessive extra charge for no extra service. We ended up paying triple the amount which others on our boat had paid. One part was the tripadvisor commission, but not all. Tour itself is fun, just book directly at the beach as per Robert Ecotour’s own recommendation :)

We had a brilliant time on this tour! The communication before the tour was really clear and responsive. A taxi was sent to collect us in the morning from our hotel at Zicatela beach and bring us to the bay that the boat left from. We headed out at 7am in the boat, which was fast and comfortable. Our boat captain was a very good driver, the tour was smooth and comfortable and he spoke good English, so he told us about all of the animals we saw! We saw lots of seabirds, dolphins and some turtles. We also saw multiple humpback whales, which was AMAZING! We saw them come up for air a few times, and show their tails, but we also saw an adult breach. We really appreciated that our guide was respectful of the animals and didn’t try to go too close. A couple of the other boats were going way too close to the whales and almost chasing them, which was sad to see. Please note that each tour is different, due to the higher winds and waves on our tour, it wasn’t possible to swim, and we only spent 2 hours on the tour rather than 3.

Great tour! Saw literally hundreds of dolphins and was given a snorkel to swim with them. Also saw two whales and four turtles. Small boat and choppy water which was not great for those prone to sea sickness, but meant we could get up close to the dolphins.

I had previously written a review that said that I was disappointed with the tour quality I received and gave it two stars. The owner, Robert, reached out right away and asked for the details about how our tour went and what we were not happy about. He was really great and handled the situation well, offering us compensation and apologies for our experience. He reassured us that our experience is not the quality he normally offers and has agreed to look into it on his end. All this brings the overall experience up for four stars.

We had an amazing time! The guide (apologies we can’t remember his name) was extremely knowledgeable, he took us out for 3 hours which was longer than other yours, we saw two different types of dolphins, spotted and white belly (rare to see), we saw 3 whales and a turtle. We were allowed to swim with the whales and dolphins, the most incredible experience, to be at one with these wild animals.

Beautiful bays to snorkel in- we went to La Entrega, El Organo and El Maguey. At the last one we ate a delicious lunch. Super nice driver(Humberto) and an experienced boat Captain(Jacinto). You have to bring your own water and pay for your own food. They do provide snorkel gear. It was very expensive for us, so we hope the money was divided between everyone fairly. It was wonderful to have the private boat and not be in the big crowded snorkel tour. Thank you!:)

The dolphin tour was a highlight of our trip. Our tour guide ensured all attendees got the most out of the experience. He also shared plenty of information on the many beaches located in the area.

Amazing experience! Miguel was our captain and showed us a great tour of swimming turtles, baby humpback whales and jumping dolphins!! Be sure to wear your swim suit if you want to swim with dolphins! I highly recommend 10/10.

I found Robert’s Ecotours from the great reviews online. Since I was tired of walking in the heat, I decided to rent a scooter from Robert’s Ecotours for a really good price of 400 pesos per day, which is the best deal in the area. After a great experience with the scooter, I inquired about some tours, and settled on the Mazunte tour as Roberto is very easy to deal with. Even though the tour didn’t meet the required minimum guest threshold, Roberto still moved forward with the tour. I highly recommend Robert’s Ecotours for scooters and tours, as I had a fantastic experience dealing with Roberto and his staff!

Our trip to Chacahua was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip through the mangroves, with ample opportunity to view and photograph wildlife. Sunset in Chacahua was stupenous. Swimming with bioluminscent phytoplankton was a treat. Many thanks to Captain Felix, and to Mario, who was a great driver, guide, and fixer.

Right after messaging Robert about the tour, he responded and quickly booked our tour for the next day. It was amaaaazziinnnggg. We saw Soooo many dolphins and they let us jump in the water with them. We also saw a lot of whales, they even got us there before all the other boats arrived. They also pointed out a bunch of sea turtles, fish, little tiny baby sharks. It was awesome. Small group. I would definitely recommend

We took part in the snorkelling tour and it was great from the moment of booking - Roberto was very informative and helped us book the right tour for us. Our tour was private and was a wonderful experience - we saw lots of marine life including two turtles. Polo, our guide, was super helpful and knowledgeable, giving us lots of information about the local area. Loved it!
