One of our favorites.

One of our favorite hot springs I all of Iceland! Definitely jump in the lake, after all your in Iceland. We saw an older Icelandic woman swim around the platforms. We weren’t that brave, but the warm water feels even better after jumping in the lake.

Warm baths in the natural hot spring to end the day
Very clean and serene setting with the hot baths floating on the lake. In the winter they are only opened from 4-10pm so go in the evening. The staff was very friendly and the fresh warm water felt so good after hiking in the snow. It was a fun activity to do for an hour or so at the end of our day/trip. It is much more private than the Blue Lagoon and is fresh water and not filled with silica.

Nice Relaxing Night
Sep 2021
We had a night in Eglisstadir, and were coming off of five days of non stop road tripping, so we decided to have a nice soak at Vok Baths. I'm so glad we decided to check it out because it ended up being so relaxing and a really nice night. These are overlooking a cold lake, the overflow actually flows into it. You have the option to actually get in the cold lake, if you so choose! There are ladders down into the water (and yes... it is truly cold!), so that you can quickly climb back out and get back into the warm water. The locker room and shower facilities were very nice here as well.

Spacious baths in beautiful lake setting
Sep 2021
Spacious baths in beautiful lake setting. You can stay as long as you like once you're in. Three different large areas to soak in, plus the lake itself for those who want to. The locker and shower area is really roomy and clean as well, with hair and skin products to try. Great place to take in the sunset.

Nice baths in a beautiful location
Sep 2021
Clean place, well run, easy to navigate and not so large.
What I enjoyed best was the ability to dip in the lake in between soaks. It's a wonderful cold plunge. The baths themselves could have been a little warmer for my taste the day we went but, it was still plenty enjoyable on a nice cold September evening.

Divine way to end the day
A divine way to finish a day full of waterfall hiking. The baths have different levels of warmth, none too hot, all just right. Tht lack of sulfur smell was a treat! The drinks at the swim-up bar are reasonably priced (red smoothie was delicious). Entire place is sleekly designed, run by high-tech wristbands. A true trip highlight!

Beautiful, but…
Beautiful place. But the price of admission should include earplugs so you can relax around all the screaming Italians. And management should enforce rules about showering before entering and not wearing shoes all over the place. But, again, a beautiful place.

Must not miss if in the area

This was by far the best thing I did on my recent trip to Iceland. The setting is absolutely stunning. The changing rooms are very clean. You are required to shower with soap and shampoo before entering. You wear a bathing suit in the baths. There are 4 different temp. pool then the lovely river. The river was not that cold. Probably about 55 F. The bath provide a towel but you may want to wear flip flops. Lockers are provided. The body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are divine.

Waste of money
Aug 2021 • Friends
In my opinion, a BIG waste of money. I had a better time in local swimming pools around Iceland
Because: the water is not hot enough, looks and feels dirty. Some green stuff floating around. I found it disgusting.
The seats and the floor it s covered in some slippery plants ( i would say).

Truly shame to charge so much for this conditions. Around 1000- 2000kr the entrance should be more than enough.
