Day 1: Mexico City - Puebla - Oaxaca

Stop At: Rosary Chapel (Capilla del Rosario), Santo Domingo Church, Puebla 72000 Mexico
Our tour will initiate at 08:00 hours. Departure to the city of Puebla de los Ángeles, before our arrival we shall visit a church beautifully decorated by the hands of the natives of the place. Lunch. After our arrival at the city of Puebla, we shall visit the Rosary Chapel, the Cathedral, The Main Plaza and the Historical Center. Subsequently we shall depart towards the city of Oaxaca. Arrival and Lodging.

Day 2: Oaxaca - Monte Albán - Mitla - Tule

Stop At: Monte Alban, Oaxaca Mexico
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning we shall visit Monte Albán, an archaeological zone built over a mountain, and we will find expressions of the Olmeca, Zapoteca and Mixteca cultures. Afterwards we shall visit Mitla, the “City of the death” which is an important place which shows its beautiful decoration based on symbolic gravures. We will admire the “Tule Tree”, perhaps the living being of the biggest size in the world. Return to Oaxaca, a beautiful colonial city, including its Cathedral, the magnificent church of Santo Domingo and the “Gold Museum”. Lodging.

Day 3: Oaxaca - Sumidero Canyon - San Cristóbal de las Casas

Stop At: Canon del Sumidero, Chiapa de Corzo Mexico
Breakfast on the way. Departure at approximately 04:00 hours towards Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital city of the state of Chiapas. You will enjoy a most beautiful landscape, its orography and magnificent flowers. Arrival and transfer to the embarcadero of the Grijalva River to enjoy, travelling in a boat to arrive at Sumidero Canyon which is a geological marvel which height reaches 1000 Mt. in its highest point. Afterwards, transfer to San Cristobal de las Casas, going through Chiapa de Corzo. Lodging.

Day 4: San Cristóbal de las Casas - Indigenous Communities

Stop At: Catedral de San Cristobal de Las Casas, Plaza 31 de Marzo next to the Parque Central / Zocalo, San Cristobal de las Casas Mexico
Breakfast at hotel. Departure and transportation to an area known as “Los altos de Chiapas” to visit the indigenous communities named San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan, indigenous towns which keep their traditional way of life, their religious faith and their social organizations. Their churches, huts and clothing are most original and colourful. Afterwards, return to San Cristobal de las Casas. Free afternoon. We suggest a walking through the streets of this beautiful city and visit the market, Santo Domingo, the Cathedral and the museum of Jade which keep a copy of King Pakal’s tomb. Lodging.

Day 5: San Cristóbal de las Casas - Agua Azul - Palenque

Stop At: Reserva Especial de la Biosfera Cascadas Agua Azul Cascadas de Agua Azul Chiapas, Palenque 29920 Mexico
Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to the Agua Azul Waterfalls (Blue Water Waterfalls), its water seeming turquoise tones, its short waterfalls create wells which in turn are natural swimming pools where it is possible to be refreshed, surrounded by abundant vegetation and typical fauna of the place. If the weather is good enough, we will visit the Misol Ha Cascade. Afterwards, we will be heading towards Palenque. Supper and Lodging.

Day 6: Palenque - City of origin

Stop At: Zona Arqueologica de Palenque, Carretera a Palenque- Zona Archaeologica Km. 8, Palenque 29960 Mexico
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the archaeological area of Palenque, located at the jungle. One if the most important ones of the Mayan World. Both, due to the historical discoveries as for its beauty. Within the Pyramid of inscriptions there was found a Tomb of the Pakal King with an engraved inscription in it. Cross temple, Sun’s temple and the Palace. Afterwards transfer to the airport of the city of Villahermosa to take the flight to their city of origin. It is suggested to confirm flight after the 17:00 hrs. End of our services.

This escorted tour departs from Mexico City and ends in Villahermosa.
It is necessary to detail at the time of booking or as soon as possible the hotel information in Mexico City where you will be staying in. Hotel pick-up in Mexico City only in the following areas: Polanco, Zona Rosa, Reforma and Historical Centre.
In order to organize the drop-off transfer, please inform about your flight details (Airline Company – Flight number – Departure time) or your bus details (Origin – Destination – Departure time).
In order to improve the organization, please bring your printed voucher the departure date of the tour.
Each passenger will be allowed a suitcase of maximum 30 kilos and of regular dimensions. In case of excess baggage will be subject to acceptance as long as the capacity of the vehicle allows.
