- sunnyside3100 contributionsEXPERTS AT RIPPING YOU OFF!!We went there in July 2024 and decided to purchase the dual experience for $100+ pp. We chose the UTV and the camel ride. On top of the $100+ pp, we add to pay an extra $25 pp for the park entrance and $50+ for the motorized insurance. At the end, we ended up paying $600+ for a family of 4. The UTV ride was less than 15 min and the camel ride was about 5 min. We could not believe how short both experiences were given what we had just paid! Stay away from this place. They charge a lot a lot for not much. And to top it off, they would not call a cab for us when we were ready to leave. They forced us to use their private transportation and of course, it was way more expensive than a cab. They definitely know how to get every penny out of you. RIDICULOUS!!Written December 5, 2024
- 174tadc0 contributionsBring lots of money .. You will need it!Had a great ride and our guide, Luis was fantastic. Beautiful views of the Baja desert and the time at the beach was nice. We did truly enjoy the ride and had fun. However, by the time you add in the $35 per person mandatory insurance and $25 park fee (I thought the fee was to pass through a national or regional park - but it is their little desert park that includes bungee jumps, a water park, a petting zoo and $8 gatorades and red bulls) per person and the $110 per person ride fee it was actually $170 to get on the quads. That's a substantial difference form the advertised price. These guys have raised the tourist squeeze to an art form. They don't tell you until you get there that you can't ride without a bandana .. but lucky us they were ready to sell us each one to save our ride! There was no mention anywhere in the info on their Trip Advisor ad or in any of the emails they sent that we needed to bring a bandana. Also, be aware that the park is in the middle of nowhere between San Lucas and San Jose. After you exit the highway it is another 4-5 miles on dusty dirt roads to get to the park. Our Uber driver wanted to drop us off at the freeway exit which would have been a disaster. We had to pay extra to get him to drive us to the park. Since we didn't know where it was he kept trying to drop us off every mile or so. Upon arriving we were told that Uber does not drop off or pick up at the park. Useful information to include in the booking info guys! When we were done we were told we could wait for 2 hours for the shuttle to go back or we could pay double to take a private shuttle. We opted for double but were then told none of their drivers were available. Next option was to call a taxi which was twice what we paid Uber after the extra to take us all the way to the park. So add in $28 for the Uber and $55 for the taxi and it was a pretty pricey quad ride. I wouldn't go back or the quads or any of their other, over-priced activities. Save the money and spend a day at the beach. The only thing preventing us from giving it a 1* was our guide, Luis. Oh, the shuttle to the park was not an option for us since we stayed at an Airbnb and not a hotel.Written December 4, 2024

- 725jeanay0 contributionsWild Canyon was a win!Bought a full day pass and didn’t have enough time to do everything as our transfer was scheduled to pick us up at 3:30pm. I would drive there and stay as late as possible because there’s so much to do. We did the zip lines, camel ride (which was very short but some good photos) and the Razer/UTV. Our guide for the UTV was Richi Rioh - he was amazing and made our day! Such a fun experience. Thank you again Richi!Written November 26, 2024
- 876dredac050 contributionsBest ATV tour in CaboGreat customer experience from check in to end of tour. Clean and organized facility. Our tour guide Richie was amazing and courteous. He did an awesome job throughout the tour. No pictures are allowed, they take all the photos which we ended purchasing at the end of the tour. I would suggest for couples using the double ATV to do the upgrade. It was on $50.00. You’ll thank me later. Also included was the tequila tasting at the end of tour. Kudos again to Richie for doing such and amazing job and very professional. I would also recommend to take a change of clothing. They have safe lockers to put them away until you are finished with your tour.Written November 15, 2024

- C6431BTdaisyh0 contributionsThis place is a nightmareAVOID THIS PLACE. These people are scammers. Everything has hidden fees and prices change every minute. The guys in the front kept laughing at us when we’d call them out on the price changes. They don’t tell you that transportation comes back at a certain time. We finished at 1:45 and the next shuttle came at 3:30. If you want to leave, you also have to pay. The price differs if you speak Spanish or not. The lady in the front that greets you when you arrive was extremely rude. Not worth it if you’re paying $200 for a 15 minute atv ride.Written November 4, 2024
- arlyno6200 contributionsHeld hostageThis place is such a scam. They charge you extra for an automatic vehicle. The worst part about it is they hold you hostage until a certain hour. If you want to leave you have to pay $ to leave. They scammed a family before us that unfortunately didn’t know Spanish and were charging them $50. When they told us $40. They also pretender to let us know there was a certain time the shuttle would depart and/or arrive. Avoid this place unless you’re rich and love to be scammed :)Written November 4, 2024

- Happiness5650590 contributionsPrice gougesThey scammed us for the most part! We paid theu a company named Terramar! Omar was the contact person. Omar and wild canyon work together to beat people out of money! We paid him cash and was told that everything was included, meaning transportation, insurance, and park fee. On the way there we still had not received a confirmation. I called Omar and he lied and said those things were not included so we immediately told the driver to take us back. I had 8 witnesses that heard him say everything was included. The driver refused to take us back. We pulled up and they tried to have us get out we refused. They sent the manager out he was cool and tried to smooth it over he did agree to not make us pay the transportation and park fee but we had to repay the extra $35 per person for the insurance. We were on vacation so we went with it to make the most of our day. Then when we finished we tried to buy pictures and he changed the price 4 different times. At first he said $190, $165, $119 ( we ageees on it) then he changed it again to $190 and then he said pictures only for $130. At that point we were like yall are scamming! The actual activities were fun and the employees were great. The camel employees did not hound us for tips so we left a very generous tip. The atv riding was amazing the employees were great except they hounded my 2 friends for tips when they got off to not go over the bridge. They gave them $40. Then when we came back from the bridge they asked again for an additional tip. We gave them another $60 for which we thought was all 5 people in our group. Not knowing my other 2 friends had already ripped them $40. We don’t mind tipping but don’t like to be hounded. If you book you will enjoy the excursions but just watch out for price changes and price gouging! I do not advise booking thru anyone else either as the price will change. It was worth what we paid but a headache with all the extra money issues.Written October 30, 2024
- bbradshaw_260 contributionsAverageWe went on the atv tour as a group of 5 last week. We drove there in our rental van and I remember thinking, I hope we don't just stick to this main road on our atv tour...we pretty much stuck to the main road driving down to the beach and back. Also drove around in a lot of circles, not sure why. They have a lot of trails going off off the main road that looked more interesting, including a few that I recognized from their youtube video. Also not the first time we've been on atv's. For $150 per person, we expected a bit more excitement on our tour. I will say that the best part was going across the suspension bridge, but that was at the very end.Written October 25, 2024

We stayed at Villa Del Arco and this place was recommended to us by the excursion rep at the hotel. This tour was only 30 mins and it was extremely slow, not what a UTV tour is suppose to be like. From the beginning, we were already asked by the tour guide to “tip” when we haven’t even gotten geared up or anything. He was extremely rude and money hungry person who won’t show you a good time if you don’t “tip” them. They ask you not to bring your phone and threaten to take you back if they catch you using your phone to take pictures/record videos because they want to make money off of the photos they take for you. Which btw is $50 for 2 pictures of your choice and they airdrop them to you, not even a print out. They say the ride is too dangerous to bring your phone along but you’re not even going fast enough for your phone to fall out of your hand. And if you ask them to take a picture for you they’re going to say no. I asked one of the photographers to take a picture for me from my iPhone with the UTV and beach in the background and the guy who asked for the tip hinted not to do it. Don’t waste your money here, find another place to ride ATV and other activities they have here. It’ll probably be cheaper and the service will be way better and you’d most likely have more fun. Also you won’t be told not to come back. Also they’ll pick you up in a shuttle before your tour but after the tour you will have to wait an hour and 30 mins for a shuttle to take you back to your hotel, but during that time you can visit their restaurant so they can make more money off of you while you wait, tired from your tour. This is one of those “I’d give this place one stars if I could” I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you for your review and the time you took to share it. I am sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations. I will consider your recommendation for future visitors. I’d like to highlight important information on your review that will highly help future guests upon their visit to our park. I am stunned about your experience with us and your comment on the guide with their insistence on tip, that sort of behavior is prohibited. I would appreciate expanding on this through and email to become familiar on the tour guide and can take immediate action. Please send me and email to contact@wildcanyon.com.mx. In regards to the use of cellphones, to follow safety measures we ask that all activity participants are 100% on the activity and distraction can be hazardous. We also wouldn’t want you to lose a valuable item on your vacation in the middle of the desert making it impossible to recover. To address photography pricing, I invite all readers and future visitors to visit our website where you’ll find deals if you purchase in advance. This can be a real deal breaker! In reference to the waiting time, I’m very sorry you were not able to take advantage of plenty of features that are designed to fulfill the time you might have to wait for complimentary transportation. We invite you to consider the use of private transportation such as private taxis or uber to avoid any schedule overlaps to your personal itinerary. Please note Wild Canyon is not responsible for additional fees provided by a third-party. We really hope you can visit us again, and once I receive your email, I can provide a gift certificate so you can enjoy our park 100%. We’ll see you soon friend, Greetings from Wild Canyon Family.

Our family group of 11 people visited Wild Canyon Adventures on 7/23/22. We had our own transportation so I can’t rate that part but upon our arrival the check in process was slow and very disorganized. You have to fill our waivers for each person and WiFi does not work there because it is in a remote area so paper waivers it is. You will also be required to pay 49.00 insurance per person on top of the entrance fee to be allowed to drive an ATV or UTV. That plus the meal plan which you only get to choose one item and one drink soda only or water. That added up to $220 usd per person which is super pricey considering the park is small and last activity is at 2:30 you will NOT have enough time to do it all. We had the ParkPass which included all activities and only got to do 3. But the far worst part was the workers in charge of the UTV ride . They were extremely rude and on the short 10 minutes ride they stopped us like three times because we were apparently going too fast then too slow then swerving. So they made it super uncomfortable you basically have to go single file line at about 10 to 15 mph which is super boring where is the adventure in that? And then I also heard one of them telling the other guy, “ we are not here to please them!” If they are not there to give the tourist a good experience and a thrill and adventure which is what the park promotes then what are they there for? Due to the lack of organization you have to wait a long time to ride the ATVs and loose lots of time. On the other side the zip line attendants were nice and that was fun. Just be aware that the climbing to get from one zip line to the other is hard gets you out of breath. Also, due to a light drizzle the hanging bridge, the bungee jumping, and the bungee swing were all not in service. So our overall experience was not good at all and overpriced. Not what we were expecting at all and definitely not the adventure park they promise it is. We would definitely not go there again.

Hello, thank you very much for sharing your review with us. We are very sorry if your experience at Wild Canyon was not what you expected or did not meet your expectations. We also apologize if you felt that the service of someone from our staff was not the best; we spoke with the supervisor and a proper follow up was made. We aim to avoid and make sure something like this does not happen again.
We recommend to all our future visitors that they purchase their activities through our website www.wildcanyon.com.mx where they can previously see all the requirements and fees necessary to carry out their activities. This helps reduce check in waiting times to the minimum.
We would also like to comment that all our activities have different precautionary measures established, which our guides have the responsibility to oversee, all this in order to guarantee the safety and well-being of all our visitors.
Thank you for being honest about your experience and we hope you can give us another opportunity soon. Greetings.

The price you see is not the price you pay. Website states $20 fee per person to enter the park (wild) and $34 insurance per vehicle (also wild!) on top of the $70ish for the initial rentals.
Keep in mind what you rent on the website is SEMI-AUTOMATIC and automatic (No shifting) - an upgrade will run you another $50 PER VEHICLE. Pretty insane.
I showed the guy working that no where on the site does it state it’s a semi-automatic and you’d have to pay more for an automatic and he showed me an CAM AM ATV on the site for $50 more but nowhere does it state it’s automatic, just mentions you can upgrade to that. I recommended they update their site to be more clear.
Ride was fun and bridge was cool, tons of dust so be prepared to shower/toss clothes after. Pictures were also pricey. I took my phone but be careful to not let the employees see you snapping photos or they’ll confiscate your phone.

I typically would never leave a two-star review but wasn't impressed with Wild Canyon Adventures. This place is the ultimate tourist trap there is on earth. I booked an ATV ride excursion online. Thankfully, I had a rental car to take me there. There's a $20 entry fee on top of whatever excursion you sign up for. Then there's a $35 non-refundable insurance fee. So you're well above $150 for a 2-hour ride. My excursion didn't start until 45 min later and pushed for everyone to place all of their belongings in a locker. I was dying of thirst out there kid you not along the ride. The guides guiding the group on the ride were great and that's the only positive thing I can say about Wild Canyon.

Hi, thank you for taking your time to review and for the honesty of your words, we are sorry we had not met the expectations of your tour. We hope you can give us a second chance to improve your perception. We would like to share with future visitors that indeed there is a fee for the general admission to the park, which is mentioned in all our digital advertising media, as well printed on our website, this cost helps the care and maintenance of our ecological reservation where the activities and our animal sanctuary are at. About the insurance, this is charged to all participants to avoid unforeseen expenses in case of accidents, as well as may apply for a prior hold to your credit card which is for $ 1,500 USD and this takes up from 5 to 10 days to be released depending on your bank. Regarding the time for waiting we are sorry for the delay, however, we are working under limited operation and logistics because of the pandemic and that affects some processes for check-in. We're already working on new strategies to help us mitigate this situation. We hope to get in contact with you via email through contact@wildcanyon.com.mx to find a way to improve your next visit to the park. See you soon family

Just to make sure we had a great experience at the UTVs but make sure what you are getting into with the speicifcs. When we booked it initially (through an agent) we were told we would get 2 uts however when we got there we were charged an additional 80 dollars. This made this bad to begin with. We had even called the agent (who worked at wild canyon) to make sure we get 2 UTs (which he said yes to on the phone). However, that was not the case when we got there. we also asked if we could speak with the manager. Her name was Monica (Monika) however she refused to speak with us even when she was on the property. This again is not a good sign if you want repeat customers.
Again I was to specify that the experience was good however the customer support sucked and the people managing reservations (Monika) and they were not willing to make any adjustments even after we spoke to them does not leave a good taste at the end of the day.

Hello, thank you very much for your review and the time to share your experience with us. We are very sorry for the confusion during the purchase of your activities. I have looked into your case and unfortunately, the product you purchased was a Double UTV, which our agent confirmed to you during your reservation. We believe that is where the confusion arises since you would have wanted an individual vehicle for each participant. To accommodate you at the park they had to make a change on your reservation and incur an additional charge since the cost of both experiences is different. Regarding our agent Monica, although she is part of our team, she has does not interfere in this type of situation, however, she was able to channel it with the supervisor of the area himself who provided you with all the information you need to enjoy your experiences. I want to thank you for the patience you had and above all ensure that you liked our experience during the activity. I hope you can give us a second chance on your next vacation in Los Cabos, I will gladly provide you with a discount to some of our experiences, I look forward to your contact. Greetings from the whole family, Wild Canyon.

The park is way over priced for what you get to do. We did the ATV 20min only UTV 20 min only. Neither of these do you go faster than 5mph so don’t pay for the insurance. We also did the camels that you ride for maybe 5 min at the most. Last we did the zip line. It was only 3 and one was maybe a 100’ long. At the beginning you are told not to take your phones. They say it’s so you don’t drop it but it’s really to keep you from taking pictures so they can over charge you for theirs at the end. We where first told $80 for them and then it went to $200. Take your phones and do your own pictures. R if you want to do something that you will remember for ever book something else.

So today while on vacation in Cabo i reserved through there website 2 ATVs for the 4hr-per there website excursion. We were picked up at our hotel in a small sir conditioned mini van and arrived at there location about 20 minutes later. We walked up to the counter and was advised each atv requires MANDATORY 35 insurance plus a 20 fee per person to enter the park,we tried to cancel as we felt this should have been billed when we paid online,at this point feeling we have got taken advantage of.We tried to cancel they declined,so we were forced into paying the additional money.the staff taking you out to ride the atvs were all helpful. They do have restrooms, snacks to buy and a restaurant. So we went out riding atv's to the beach and through there track.About 2 hrs of riding we returned amd were finished mind you we paid for the 4hrs that it says on there website.NOPE the 4 hrs is from the time they pick you up till the time they drop you off so you only get 2hrs of ride time and have to wait over an hour to get a ride back to your hotel. This place is a RIPOFF schedule your atv tour elsewhere and get your moneys worth and let my bad experience be your Warning.

Hello, I really appreciate your review and the time dedicated to it in advance; we promise to take the necessary measures to be even clearer on the additional costs that may arise in the park.
I would love to share the following information with you. Within the purchases of our website, we specify the total time of the activity as well as the full experience; Which starts from the transportation from your hotel to the park + the duration of the activity + free time so that you can enjoy all the complementary experiences that your payment includes, such as the WAGOONA wet area, our hanging bridges, and the animal sanctuary, also, to be able to do hiking and trekking on our trails + your return transportation to your hotel.
Another important fact; inside each tour description, you will see the additional charges that may exist during your check-in are listed. In the case of motorized activities, there is an option to make the insurance payment in advance.
We hope you can give us a second chance to visit us; if you need personalized assistance, contact me at experience@wildcanyon.com.mx, I would love to make your compensation to change our service perception.
Last but not least, I share with you that our website has a live chat that can help you learn more about our service and any questions you may have before your purchase. I invite you and all of our futures Visitors to contact us by that means if they need us.
Greetings from the Wild Canyon family

We did all day pass. We did the UTV, ATV, zip lining, camel ride and wild kingdom animal sanctuary. Miguel in the animal sanctuary was AMAZING, super friendly, very informative he defenitly loves the animals. The ATV was a little disorganized, took forever to get everyone educated on how to use them, the machines were pretty rundown. Would be nice if they would group people based on experience or zero experience. The zipline was one tiny line and two pretty good sized lines. A lot of hiking to get to the next one. UTV was good. We requested a smaller group so we didn’t have so much stopping like we did with the ATV’s. Camels rides were great. Don’t remember the guide but he also was very informative and passionate about the animals. We were in the list for over an hour for the swing and never got to do it. If your planning zip lining. I suggest do it early in the day to beat the beat and get on the list right away for swing or bungee. Overall I would recommend the park. The water park was defenitly doe small children.

Hello. Thank you for your review and for detailing your experience with us. I want to mention that we are taking action to enhance the ATV experience to avoid a long instructional session at the beginning and the ATV activity can be faster and well organized. You’ll see it on your next visit to our park. Thank you for your special recommendation and tips to future visitors on the zip lining activity. They are a little challenging but a very satisfying achievement! We hope to see you soon around here and continue enjoying the park. Greetings from the entire team.

Tour was scheduled to begin at 3PM. We ended up starting at 4PM because we had to wait for another party to arrive. Isn’t the tour supposed to start with or without others if they’re late? Instead, they made their customers wait which was an inconvenience because dinner plans had to get cancelled. The tour lasted about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The advertised duration was 2-3 hours… The trail wasn’t composed of any great scenery. Driving into the park was the same as the ATV/ UTV trails. Lastly, we had to pay a mandatory insurance of 45$ a person at the gate… I must’ve missed the warning on their site?? I didn’t see one … overall, 150$ for 1 hour wait and 1 hour tour didn’t really make sense.

My husband and I chose the UTV at the last minute. The front desk person was very patient with us. The 1 minute walk was simple from the reception area to the lodge and we were greeted by a nice pleasant young man and explained that we would be fitted and he suggested that we purchase a face/neck cover, we did and you will need one too, get the $7 one. We then were greeted by Divincino /Devincino (I am not sure if I’m spelling that correctly). He was our ride guide and took us through all rules and got us fitted. We did not have to do anything but stand there and listen. He explained the vehicle by showing us what to do and if you have not driven one before, don’t be worried, get Devincino and you will be fine. The tour is worth every dime. The memories will be priceless. We rode for about 30 min to the beach, the back about another 25/30 min and then the BRIDGE. This is such an amazing tour. There was nothing unsafe and he made sure of that with the hand signals. We felt comfortable, knowledgeable and safe the entire time. They also have a professional photographer that will pop up on you and take pictures from everywhere. When we got to the water he put his ATV out so we could take a picture toward the water and he even jumped down the rocks to get professional pictures of what I was taking with my phone. I am not sure why some of these reviews are 50/50. I would go again and again. There are other things you can do as well. I wanted to zip line until he explained that it’s 8 lines and it’s over a canyon, when I saw that, I changed my mind. Everything there would be worth it. The people are friendly and they make sure you are comfortable and having fun. They have tequila tasting as well but we didn’t do that. This is a whole park of adventures to include bungee and sling swinging over the canyon, horse back riding and camel riding. Something for everyone if you like adventures, if not go do something else because this place is amazing.
