Waste of valuable vacation time. If you take shuttle it a 6 hour day trip. If you have your own car it probably 4 hours. They are ow about everything. It's a 25 minute camel ride with all the group's camels tied together and a guy with a leash walking them around. Yes you go on the beach but it's very boring. I felt like I wasted the whole day doing this. Do the atv thing it's much better.they want to sell u over price pictures after because they don't let you carry phone or camera. Avoid this excursion

Excellent Excursion, wear sneakers and add sunblock before arriving. Bill, Greta, Abraham & Isaac were wonderful with their knowledge and passion. Learned a ton about Camels, held birds while getting a kiss and giving high five and brief hike. Bill allowed us to get up close and personal with the Camels before our 25 minute Camel Ride along the beach. Photographer and drone will take photos of group ride.
Lunch was great and Tequila Tasting with Bill was so much Fun, small group experience with masks. (Helmets are worn during Camel Ride)

Hi everyone! I was extremely excited for the Camel tour including tacos and tequila tasting but to my disappointment - it was one of the worst tours I have ever been on and such a waste of a day! Our experience was suppose to be only for two hours but it took 3 1/2 hours just to ride on the camel! We were all aimlessly waiting and did not have our phones/wallets because we were told to leave them in a locker. Since we did not have any cash on us, we couldn't even buy any food at the stores and I was very disappointed that we were told to leave our phones in the locker when so many people within the group did not obliged and took pictures with the camel without having to pay for it. It should be fair to everyone - either you bring your belongings with you or everyone is asked to leave their belongings in the locker. The only bright side of this trip was the tacos, it was absolutely delish but the tequila was sub-par. The entire experience was not worth it! Save yourself the time, hassle and experience to do another activity.

Hi Kay,
I have rode camels in the Australian outback, in the states and in Cabo. I agree with you completely and always try to urge our customers to use their time in Cabo doing something else. There are bucket list level activities in Cabo and I don't think that is one of them. We are not Cactus Tours, we are only the wholesaler and cannot change that company's procedures. We would not even offer Camels but people insist on them so we have kept it. I am happy to see your complaints are with Cactus and not our customer service. Next time you are in Cabo please call us directly so we can make sure you get exactly what you are looking for.

Guide Alejandro was great. Lots of information and interacted very well with customers. Camels well behaved tour was well organized from pick up to drop off. Tacos were great a little mix up with pictures but not aggresive in selling. Excellent tour

If you have "ride a camel" on your bucket list, this will check the box.
Bring your cell phone. Take your own pictures. They lie and tell you that no photos for your safety. It is not. It is so they can try rip you off for photos at the end of the trip. I asked several people what the cost for one photo would be and no one could answer me. I realized that this is because one guy changes the price of the photo depending on your race and what they think they can get from you.
The camel ride is led by a guy holding the camel by a rope lead and all of the other camels are tied together. He walks and all the others follow him. There were plenty of whales to see in the ocean while riding on top of the camel (10+ in Jamuary).

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you left your camera in the lockers. We send out a welcome letter that gives tips on things like that. For example, it tells you that you could have brought it but any damage or loss would have been on you. Basically they can't stop to grab it if you drop it kind of like rides at the fair. I am sorry that you were not made better aware of that and would like to offer you half off any of our tours the next time that you are in Cabo.
