We chartered the Cabo Wave for a private sunset dinner/booze cruise for our wedding weekend in Cabo. We reserved the cruise through Cabo San Lucas Tours' website to cruise from 5-7pm (6:18pm sunset).
We wanted our group to be spread out, so we had the 87 foot boat for 37 people (mostly in their late 20s/early 30s), but the cost was extremely reasonable. The boat could have held 3x that comfortably. Because we had such a small group our staff to guest ratio was really great, they had a captain, deck hands, cook, MC/DJ, and a couple servers and bartenders on the boat. They were quick to take guests' drink orders from all over the boat.
When dinner was ready, they told guests they could head downstairs at their leisure for the buffet. Quesadillas, fajitas, rice, beans, and a few other staples.
We cruised around el Arco for a photo op, then headed up the pacific coast up to Pueblo Bonito Hotel area. Because we traveled in winter, the humpback whales were out and our captain took care to make sure we could see them as much as possible! We were blessed with a beautiful sunset on the way back.
We had given the DJ a specific spotify playlist thinking they would just put it on shuffle, but instead they made it a true DJ'd and MC'd experience (2 separate people). This is not a requirement, they will do a full service DJ experience if you'd like! The MC was great also!
They had a photographer with a DSLR camera on board, we ended up purchasing her whole set for an additional $300. Definitely not necessary, but it was nice to document since it was our wedding weekend. Plenty of photo opportunities for guests without the professional.
The only thing--we were a little confused once we arrived at La Terminal de Cabo where we checked in, but the staff there was nice enough to help us pay the $2/guest docking fee, get our hands sanitized and get onto the boat. They had us arrive 30 min before departure, which was the correct timing.

We booked a private sunset cruise with Wild Cabo Tours for our 50+ wedding guests and it went great. They accommodated our guests' food allergies and the food was great. The DJ and MC were also a hit. We'd definitely consider Wild Cabo Tours again in the future!

I can not say enough great things about Cabo Wave and the excellent staff!!!! Everyone was so attentive and friendly. I can not remember the guitarist/ singers name but he needs a record deal. His voice is amazing.
I do not eat meat or seafood so I did not eat the meal. However, my boyfriend and others on our cruise loved the meal. The chef grilled fresh vegetables for me which was unexpected and thoughtful. The open bar was really great too.
oh and lastly, the boat and the restrooms were really clean.

False advertising! Not luxury, nothing at all like the pictures shown! NO live music as advertised …thumping loud music the entire time. Even told if we thought it was too loud to go below deck. When we went to the lower level, all you could smell was diesel. Drinks were bad, served in metal coffee cups. Cheap Mexican dinner. No appetizers as advertised. Not the relaxing dinner cruise as was promoted! More like a party boat, which we did NOT want (or would have booked). We didn’t even really “cruise” anywhere except to the arch. We just floated in a circle the whole time. I would NEVER use this company again. Felt like we were taken advantage of.

The service was great, the Dj was alille loud
The beverages were good and delivered in a timely mannor. Sunset was pretty, but alittle cloudy and the pacific side was rough seas. The food was the worst part, I am not sure what it even was, and the tacos had no salsa for them.

I paid on the phone and received confirmation for the sunset cruise. When we checked in, the receptionist said I still owed money!!! I showed my confirmation email but she said that there is still a balance.Thnking maybe they only partially charged me to book the cruise. Also It was for my husband's birthday so I didnt want to argue. I didnt have internet to check my credit card account. I paid for the "Balance".

We took this cruise on our 1st night in Cabo and it was a perfect intro to this part of Mexico. Beautiful views of the Lands End arch w/ plenty of time to take pics. Chill low key cruise w/ buffet dinner and live music. Even cruised along w/ whales for about an hour of the cruise bonus addition.

The two hour Fajita Dinner Sunset Cruise on Cabo Escape was one of the most enjoyable activities during our week's vacation in Los Cabos. The boarding experience was very professional and friendly, though we were there too early per their instructions. But spent the wait time walking on the marina.
Once on the ship, the staff was very professional and always helpful. The MC on board was pretty funny with stories and everyone enjoyed watching the tequila drink/dance competition. The Fajita dinner was simple but quite tasty. The chicken was excellent. The view of El Arco was beautiful and so was the awesome sunset.
Two hours well spent and enjoyed most. The ship has two levels, best enjoyed from the top open level.
