I've been to Cabo a number of times but this is truly the worst experience that I have ever had cruising. There was a a biker gang on the cruise ship, one of the members accused me of stealing drugs from his bag to start an incident. When I reported the incident to the staff they told me that they were going to call the Marines on me. I asked for the Captain of the ship and they ignored me, even though I told them that me and my wife didn't feel safe on the ship because of what we were accused of doing. I asked the gentleman that told me that he was going to call the marines on me if I could speak to a Manager or a Captain and he just ignored me. I asked another member on the ship about a voice of authority that I I could speak to on the ship and he told me that the biker gang guys were crazy.? I asked what that had to do with me and me and my wife feeling safe and he walked away. I will never get on this cruise liner again. I guess they value the the biker gangs nonsense more than the truth that is coming from patrons which is very weird. There was no one that I could speak to at the end of the cruise and I didn't feel safe on the way back to my resort. This was the worst experience that I have ever had on a cruise ship, it will definitely be the last time I ever do on in Cabo. This experience really makes me feel like never coming back to Cabo.

Boom with Oceanus I. You won’t be disappointed!
We have been to Cabo San Lucas 13, or 14 times. We have been out on several Whale watching tours, sunset tours, party boats, pirate ships etc. We just got back from the best whale watching excursion we have ever been on. I know the chance of seeing whales or not has more to do with luck, than the boat your on, but the captain made a point to drive out farther and stay out longer than time allowed just to make sure we stayed with the whales. We seen some Grey whales early and close to lands end, but then we went farther out into the pacific and seen a few humpbacks that kept jumping over and over. Also seen a few dolphins. Excellent trip, SUPER FREINDLY and informs staff!! I would HIGHLY recommend the Oceanus I!!

The crews were nice, but it stayed shorter than any of the boats around us. While the boat followed whales, we saw only tales. Other boats stayed longer to see entire whales, but our boat turned around. Took only 2 hours. Big boat, so no sea sick. However, I would rather pay more for better whales seeing experience.

Nice trip - could have had more information about whales, but overall good
Jan 2020
We were happy we chose Oceanus over other boat options for our whale watching experience in Cabo. The boat was pretty smooth (I tend to get seasick) and was wide and open for viewing. The 9 AM tour also had mostly families and couples so it was nice to not have a "party boat" scene! We didn't get much information on the whales and what we were seeing (we could overhear another boat and the woman was giving a lot more educational info), but it was good and we followed a pair of young humpback whales (we know from overhearing the other boat tour guide) for the couple of hours. Got lots of photos of tails!

Generally good experience
Jan 2020
Tour was as advertised. This is a relatively large boat for whale watching. Nice aspects include the top deck for better visual sights and the general amenities that come with a larger boat (restrooms, better stability, etc.). Crew was efficient with boarding and good with providing drinks, etc. upon request. We saw some Gray whales and a small pod of Humpback whales, which was a highlight of our day. I wished the tour could have provided a little more information about the whales, and a little less/quieter party music

Slow day for whales
Feb 2019
Saw a few whales. Guess they were having a day off. Drinks were good on board. Kaikoura, New Zealand whale watching was better, they used under water microphones to locate the whales as opposed to just relying on sightings.

Great size boat for whale watching
Jan 2019 • Couples
We had an amazing time on this catamaran boat whale watching. they served drinks and a few snacks as soon as we boarded, I liked the size of the boat I would not have wanted to have been on a smaller boat out in the ocean. we saw many whale sitings and they even had the sonar hooked up to the speakers so we could hear the whales and their babies communicating under water. We went the end of january and the first week in feb, lots of whales and their babies. we even had a cute little sea lion following our boat

Wonderful whale watching cruise!
Mar 2019 • Couples
Two level catamaran with open bar and breakfast snack (croissants). It was from 9 am to 11 am. It was a beautiful day and we saw sea lions, a sea turtle and several whales. We followed the last whale for at least 20 minutes. It was like he was leading the boats and showing off his tail! Very enjoyable :) Excellent staff with great customer service,
