      Fun, Fun, Fun
We had a great time sailing with this crew! They were very efficient in serving breakfast and drinks. Antonio was very knowledgeable and informative and the entire crew made sure everyone was having fun! We saw quite a few whales close up! If you are going to go whale watching, you won’t be disappointed if you choose the Buccaneer Queen!

Fun cruise on the pirate ship
Get there EARLY!!! Overall it's a good cruise. Breakfast was good with ham and egg scramble, bacon, chilaquiles, refried beans and fresh fruit. Regrettably, there were few whales showing up. Crew was great; attentively offering drinks throughout the cruise and making sure everyone had whatever we wanted. If you arrive just in time to sail like we did, breakfast may be cold and the best viewing positions on the bow and along the rails will be taken. It's hard to see the whales from mid-deck.

This was the most worth it excursion we could have chosen! The "pirate ship" is for all ages. We had the open bar, they served us lunch, and the crew was awesome. It was a great experience and we had so much fun.

Prediators. - The crew isolated my daughter from the group after she found a key that was part of the game. They wanted to do something to my daughter and their intentions were bad. DID NOT FEEL SAFE.

Thank God nothing happened but it still shook me up a bit to think how long they have been getting away with things
Predators. Young women please be aware. They had a game that If you found the key in the water you would win a certificate. I happened to win. They proceeded to ask me if I was a good diver and had me take off my life jacket in the water, I dove a couple times to get the key he had on a string but it was difficult due to the water pressure, then told me let’s swim to the side of the boat where it may be more shallow, which of course was not because we are pretty Far from the beach. I still didn’t have my life jacket, then said let’s go closer to the reefs, gave me back my life jacket and Used ans a floatie and the two other guys came with with , so three men total, now i am isolated from the group on the other side of the boat where no one can see me. We are far enough away from the boat and far enough away from land. They separated me from group on other side of boat in the water, 3 men with their lifebuoys and fourth staying watch and took my life jacket again and I said why do we have to go way over here and he told me it’s for the experience, and I said well why can’t my Mom and sister be with me and he said come on we are friends, I then said no I don’t know you guys. I look back towards the boat And there was another man looking at us and I asked if we are leaving and he said no and put a thumbs up, as if he was keeping watch. They wanted Me to dive for the key, and in that moment I didn’t want to find out what happened if I dove and came back up, so I said no I don’t care about the key or winning and I swam back with no life jacket to the other side of the boat. It Wasn’t right and it was weird, my Gut said something isn’t right. And if any girl who would have been drinking and would not have been a strong swimmer would have been left really vulnerable from all that swimming and diving . I just think if I came out of the water, two guys could have held me and my Mouth and the other would have been free to do as he pleased with the other guy keeping watch. We were in the water granted but these guys are good swimmers from doing these Excursions often with lifebuoys and myself with no life jacket. I don’t know why all three had to come just to watch me Dive for a key and no one else in the water watching the group. We booked this trip through the little hut on the harbor boardwalk right next to the legends sports bar. Ladies please, I don’t know how long they have been doing this for and I wouldn’t want it to happen again. It wasn’t right.

Definitely Go - Great Experience, Fun Adventure
Awesome experience, highly recommended. From the welcome reception area which happens to be a restaurant and bar (which we bought the Berry Mojito & Black Panter while we waited to board) to the crew, ship, and food we will definitely go again the next time we go to Cabo. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner before we boarded the ship. The crew was very hospitable, the ship was clean and tidy, and everything had its place. We were lucky enough to see humpback whales on our tour which was not even part of it but the captain made it possible. The MC was hilarious and gave a ton of energy which helped the tour. The food was good and plentiful. They took great photos of us at the arch that we ended up purchasing. Due to the hurricane, the water wasn't very clear so we didn't see much fish while we snorkeled. However, it was my daughter's (7) first time ever snorkeling and swimming in the ocean where she couldn't put her feet on the bottom.

NO information from Viator/TripAdvisor about cancellation
BLUF: Viator has a terrible customer service and it's all on you to get information/refunds. I was really looking forward to the tour and we knew it was on the edge of happening due to bad weather , so I checked my emails and messages regularly the day before and the morning. We made the trip from San Jose to Los Cabos (about 35 one way in an Uber, 50 in a taxi or 90 USD a day for rental, not sure how much the mass taxis are) and when we arrived to check in, the local already knew who we were, as we were the ONLY ones left on his list, which have not been informed about the cancellation by their tour provider (Viator). Not only were we not informed, in order to get refunded the cancelled trip, it was up to me to call them and initiate it. If you book through a local company that happens automatically. Very sad I didn't get to go since it was supposed to be for my birthday, and even more disappointed about the experience with Viator/TripAdvisor. Lesson learned. Picture from the day in Las Cabos.....no Buccaneer Queen in the harbour.

Great experience, especially for the price! The crew was entertaining, the food was good, and the boat was cool. The fact it was an open bar was the icing on the cake!

There was no "show" as it stated in the booking descriptions. The pirates climbed the ropes one time throughout the whole boat ride. The "host" of the boat only talked in Spanish, he spoke very little English during the cruise, which made it so we couldn't understand a thing. The crew basically catered to the Mexican passengers in more ways than one. We were asked to get drink refills one time throughout the duration of the cruise. The dinner was absolutely horrible, dry meat and instant potatoes...really for $99 each. Not worth a penny of what we paid. Very disappointed and will not recommend this cruise to anyone.

The pirate ship only goes to the arc and nowhere else. You float in almost the exact same spot for almost two hours. The “host” yells the entire time over the microphone and it is headache inducing! We were first in line at the gate and after waiting over an hour, we’re told we needed to pay the dock fee and get a printed ticket from the terminal and so had to wait in a VERY long line for this and then barely got to have a seat on the boat. This was NOT part of the confirmation email! We didn’t eat bc several people around us were seasick (not their fault of course) but perhaps the crew could have had a spot for those not feeling well so we didn’t have to listen to the sound of vomiting over the side at meal time. The meal was supposed to be eaten from a plate balanced on your lap while rocking on the boat….no tables from which to eat. The trip claims to be family friendly yet it’s loud music, so loud several children were crying, it’s people doing shots, it’s crew pushing drinks, and it was not geared to families in any way. The pirate show was very short, did not include a fight with the other pirate boat as indicated and couldn’t be seen unless you were seated in the centre of the boat. Someone took our picture by the arc but we never did see it. Not as advertised at all and not at all enjoyable.

Positives:. The show was great. The pirate dancers were really talented. They had everyone up and dancing on the way into the marina and they involved volunteers from the group along the way. I enjoyed the show. They were generous with the alcohol.
Negatives:. The food and drink situation was not the best. We were sitting on a bench in the ship and they fed us bar-b-que chicken and ribs with mashed potatoes and vegetables but we were holding our plates on our laps and our drinks between our feet so they wouldn't spill. Needless to say, we we're a mess before it was over. I stopped eating when I got bbq sauce on my pants. We paid extra to have premium drinks then on the ship found out that they were out of some of the premium alcohol. In spite of these negatives, I gave it a 4 rating because the pirates were entertaining and personable.
Lastly I would like to advise anyone going to dress warm and don't wear clothes that you can't wash.

We had a group of 15 boys for my sons 9th Bday and did they ever have a wonderful night! The Pirate Ship staff was awesome and very attentive to everyone’s needs. Much to my surprise, the food was great. I took a sip of a Rum Punch which was great, but did I mention I had 15 boys in our group? The non alcoholic lemonadas were good as well. The boys were amazed at the Pirate Show and at the end of the night said the “Pirates with fire” was their favorite. The music was fun, upbeat, and not to loud. Everyone had a great time dancing to the music! I would definitely recommend this to families with children of all ages.!!!

This was a fun experience. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Kept the drinks flowing. Food was weird for the type of excursion although not bad(steamed veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, ribs, chicken and pork).BEWARE Booking on trip advisor there is a lack of info provided. You must check in and pay $5 per adult and $2 per child inside the terminal area. Then get in line to load onto the ships. We split up and got in both lines. Overall a fun evening and would recommend.

By far the highlight of our week in Cabo!! The crew did an amazing job with dinner and entertainment. If this is the life of a pirate....sign me up!! The experience included dinner at sea, sword fighting, dancing and lots of fire! The crew are very talented break dancers. I was in total awe in their abilities! I didn't know the human body could move like that!!! It gets cold after dark so bring a coat! We purchased discount tickets by attending a timeshare presentation (that part wasn't fun). My only constructive feedback is that much of the humor was about drinking so beware if you bring younger kids. Pictures were reasonably priced.

The sunset pirate cruise was an entertaining, rowdy and hilarious adventure! The performers we're truly amazing and kind as well. The boat takes you to the arc and then moseys around the area while dinner, drinks and the show occur. We loved the music, games and the special occasions celebrations! Take a jacket.

We booked this pirate ship cruise for our family of 11. When we checked in at the marina, it was extremely confusing and crowded. When I presented our tickets that plainly stated pirate cruise, which I understood to include beer and wine, the agent where we checked in advised us to purchase premium bottle service, which cost over $100. After I purchased it, they directed me to board a ferry type boat, which was definitely not the pirate boat. When I explained the problem, they took me to the pirate boat, where our tickets for premium drinks were no good. After the cruise I attempted to get a refund but the desk was not open. Upon returning home, I contacted the company about at least a partial refund. But the company determined that no refund was due, msince we had access to alcohol on the pirate boat. It put a damper on the experience because I felt we were misled.

Real pirates would be able to provide a classier experience than this so called “family friendly” dinner/show cruise. We boarded the boat along with the entire Cabo population….they really like to pack people in. Bring earplugs if you want to maintain your sanity. I’m 25 and I’m complaining about noise levels…that should say something. I thought, “hey, we might be packed in and I can’t hear myself think, but we still have dinner and a show…it’s got to go up from here!”

It didn’t. It got worse. The food was gross…and it’s an uncomfortable experience trying to cut chicken with no knife, trying to hold a cup, and holding the plate on your lap….I felt like I was at a circus with that balancing act instead of a pirate show. Speaking of the show, that lasted for maybe 10 minutes at the very end of the cruise. The main show seemed to be the twerking/being trashy contest. Last time I checked, that’s usually not a family friendly activity, but at least all of the intoxicated guests enjoyed that! And so did the creep recording all of the girls on his phone.

If you want to have an enjoyable family dinner cruise, maintain your ear drums, and enjoy PG content, I suggest you look for a different option.

Dear 881kallif, Thank you for choosing Buccaneer Queen. We recommend all guests share there spaces, make new friends. Most of our guests are constantly moving around, seeing sites, at the bar, with the captain or sitting and eating. It's an active tour and rarely does anyone stay in one place, especially the kids. We hope that next time you come visit we assure you, you will have an amazing time sailing with us. Warm regards, Buccaneer Queen Tours

There was no show? They pulled out a jump rope and had ppl jump rope with flashing lights. I was expecting a show with fire dancers and acrobats per the description. We brought my daughter on this trip expecting a show for her to enjoy and there was none…so disappointed.
