- Begin your tour with Los Cabos hotel/port pickup. Board your air-conditioned minivan and meet your guide, then travel to Santa Maria Cove. Receive a safety briefing, put on your snorkeling gear and head for the sea. Be lead to spots known to be full of sub-aquatic life, and listen as your guide provides insight into the resident species, including tropical fish and coral. Head back to shore to replenish with a snack, then board your vehicle ready for the next site. At Chileno Bay, dive back into the Pacific to discover more marine life in its natural habitat. Look out for turtles, manta rays and moray eels lurking in the reef formations, benefiting from your guide’s experience to locate and identify the native creatures. Spend some time drying off and sunbathing on the beach, before relaxing with transfer back to your hotel or port.

Pickup details- For cruise ship passengers: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. If you are driving yourself: The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (OxxO) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. - Departure Time 9 a.m and 2 p. m. available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
- We recommend as early a start as possible as in the mornings there is less wind and fewer waves, so the conditions are usually more favorable.
- Pick-up times are assigned based on the location of your hotel or place of accommodation. Pick-ups start approximately one and a half hours before the scheduled activity time.
- As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, sometimes we will have to change location, reschedule and / or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain, high swell, wind and jellyfish.
- Your safety is our priority. When the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

This was a short trip 3 hours from pick up to drop-off) to visit two different snorkeling spots that are accessible off the beaches near Cabo. Visibility was not perfect due to a recent storm, but our guide Pepe did an excellent job scouting each location and pointing out various finds among the reefs (Lobsters, needlefish, etc) as we explored each reef. Although three hours seem short, we felt it was a good duration as it mixed snorkeling sessions with beach time to warm up and learn about other tourist attractions from Pepe. If you book with High Tide Los Cabos, I recommend you request Pepe as he did a great job of taking care of us on and off the water during our entire outing.

This was hands down the best snorkeling we did in Cabo - we had three different snorkeling experiences booked and this far exceeded the other two. Our guide was amazing - he felt like a leader and also caretaker, explaining anything we needed to lookout for and also highlighted all the coolest parts. This was as close to scuba as you can get without certification - so many different fish and going to two locations was fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend you do this outing, even if it's the only organized activity you do in Cabo. Thank you for the experience!!

Great snorkel trip to Chileno Bay with Pepe & Efrain. Our group opted to bypass Santa Maria bay due to conditions, so we had extra long snorkel at Chileno, which was wonderful. Both Pepe and Efrain were very knowledgeable, attentive to our group, and safety conscious - especially when the surf & currents picked up out of no where during our Snorkel! Thank you Pepe & Efrain!!

Amazing trip snorkeling to Chilleno Bay with Marco. We went out early to avoid any afternoon winds. The water was cool enough to require wetsuits. The wetsuits and snorkeling equipment was top notch, practically brand new. Marco was a great guide, pointing out the fish and several turtles in the crystal clear water. Just an all around great experience.

Our family was not aware this was only someone picking you up in a van and taking you to free beaches to snorkel. Had to carry our stuff (including our kids) down to the beach and more so just sent us into the water to snorkel. We could have taken a taxi to Santa Maria and Chileno ourselves and did this and saved a lot of money $$$$$. I would have expected a little more hands-on guide and not just thrown in to look at the fish. Plus having to carry our things down (as well as our childrens) was quite cumbersome. :(

Please be assured I will personally look into all the issues raised with our Manager to ensure they are addressed appropriately. However, in order to do this, I need to know when did you take the tour since I can not find your reservation in our system. As for now, I can definitely say the guide is there to help you to snorkel at the spots with the best visibility as well as facilitate gear needed for the snorkel. He should carry all the gear and you just take care of your personal belongings, that is why I ask you to contact us so I can investigate further.

We had a fantastic time paddling with Maury & snorkeling with Paco & Erik. They were so friendly and stayed cheerful during delays and launched all 10 of us seamlessly off the beach at Santa Maria and took pictures all along the coast. It was particularly cool they we’re able to tell us the names of the fish we were seeing and take the time to let us climb all over the rocks along the beach. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend them!

The 2 bay kayak and snorkel tour is a great tour!! Almost all year round you can see tons of multicolor fishes, our guides will go with you to show you the secret spots at the reef!! The guides have a lot of experience.
We hope to see you guys on your next vacation, maybe in a surf lesson or kayak and snorkel at the Arch.

We went snorkeling in Chileno Bay 11/30/22 with Pepe and his coworker/friend for the first time and It was magical! They were great guides and I felt like I went back to my mother’s womb in the water. I had the most zen experience. All my worries and trouble just melted away. We highly recommend Pepe and his friend as tour guides for snorkeling or anything really. They were chill and the most cool. Thanks guys!

Alex and Gil were our guides for the snorkel adventure. They were the best!! It was obvious that they like their job and care about the people they are serving. They were informative, answered all questions, made you feel safe and comfortable!
This tour was a great way to learn about these two beautiful beaches and where the fish are. It has been the highlight of our trip. Alex even let me use his paddle board and is a very patient and good teacher. I am a teacher so I know a good one when I see one🙂. Wonderful young men, wonderful tour!

Rua do Santa Maria, Funchal, is well-known for its painted doors but it also has numerous restaurants along the whole length of this narrow, traffic-free, lane. Restaurant Jupiter is the first one at the western end and people seem to walk the length and then choose where to eat. Do not pass by Restaurant Jupiter: its food, service and costs are just right.

Skip the booze cruises if you want an amazing snorkeling experience. I have snorkeled all over the world and I wanted to give the grandkids a snorkeling experience before taking them to Tahiti or Curacou. I was pleasantly surprised at the color and variety of fish we saw on this tour. Our guide, Maury Sanchez, was amazing and was able to adjust to the kids'capabilities. I suggest going with the private tour if you have special requests or needs. We were very lucky and only our family had booked, but the group tour is limited to 12, so even then you will benefit from their knowledge of the area. We saw parrotfish, eels, angelfish, a pufferfish, needlefish, and schools of small fluorescent blue fish. He swam us out to the coral and areas that no one else was exploring. Go as early as possible before the crowds arrive and the wind picks up. Success, the grandkids are hooked on snorkeling and we are looking forward to our return in June and booking some surf lessons with Maury.
