While on the beach, receive safety instructions and learn basic paddling techniques. Then, be outfitted with a life jacket and snorkeling gear and head out in your glass-bottom kayak. Your guide helps you maneuver the waters of the southern end of Cabo San Lucas, known as Land’s End. As you paddle around, spot pelicans and seabirds, as well as schools of fish, manta rays, and sea turtles through your kayak. Then, dock at Pelican’s Rock, a protected marine area, for snorkeling; here you may see lobsters, angelfish, puffers, and schools of stingrays. Paddle past Lovers Beach on the return to Medano Beach where you board your vehicle for the trip back to your hotel or cruise ship port.

- cindyaH9688IQ0 contributionsFox Canyon w/Hugo... Amazing!!!There were four of us in our group that went today. Hugo picked us up right on time, and the day only got better from there. As he drove along, Hugo gave us little bits of information from every little area we drove through. Lots of interesting tidbits to be sure. Once we arrived at Fox Canyon, Hugo got us all signed in and away, we went. The four of us are all in our sixties, and Hugo took extra care to make sure we all stepped carefully and didn't grab a hold of any cactuses, lol. Once we arrived at the waterfall, the water was extremely refreshing. An added bonus was the fish in the water that gave us a little bit of a Exfoliation treatment. That was a bonus!!! Lots of photo opportunities and many videos later, we were on our way back up the hill, although some of us might have considered it a Mountain. Our next stop was lunch, where we were served. Some of the best chicken tacos we have ever had. They even made us extra guacamole to bring back to the resort, Yes it was that delicious!!! I could go on and on and on about what a great, amazing, fantastic, fun day we had. It's a wonderful experience that was given to us, but I think you get to gist. Hugo is an amazing tour guide, we highly highly highly recommend him. THANK YOU HUGO FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL DAY!!!Written September 3, 2024

A great find! We did the kayaking and snorkeling tour around mid-December 2022. We booked the 9:00 am session, and I would highly recommend the morning option — the afternoons are windier and the water gets choppier, and I don’t think I would have enjoyed it as much if it were any choppier than it was.
Our guides picked us up at our hotel in Cabo San Lucas at 8:40 am. Since we were there on a Monday in the shoulder season, it ended up just being us and our two guides, Hugo and Louie. They lock any belongings you brought in the van, which worked fine. We took a tandem kayak that had a “glass bottom,” which was a small-to-medium clear plastic portal between your knees. Personally, the glass bottom part didn’t add that much for me, though it was cool to catch glimpses of fish beneath you. Our guides were on paddle boards, and led the way for the ~1 mile kayak out to the arch. On the way out, we got to take a quick photo with a sociable sea lion that jumped into the water and splashed us after the photo op. Our guides pointed out a lot of landmarks, including Lover’s Beach and Pelican Rock.
The arch was very pretty and fairly busy, so after exploring a bit, we headed back to Pelican Rock for some snorkeling. The guides provided us with fins, a mask, and a snorkel and brought us to a protected swimming area. We got to snorkel for a while, and there were a lot of different colorful fish. We also saw a diving bird and a sea lion swimming with us as well, which was novel. The snorkeling masks were also pretty high quality, and I didn’t have any problems with leaky goggles and other challenges I’ve had with similar activities.
When we got our fill of snorkeling, we paddled the rest of the way back to the beach, and our guides dropped us back off at our hotel shortly before noon. The whole thing was well planned and a great experience — definitely would recommend fitting it into your Cabo visit.

We had an excellent time kayaking to El Arco and snorkeling near Pelican Rock. Pepe and Ivan took good care of us. The Arch is only about half a mile from The starting point, and we were able to handle it well despite some near boat traffic. Pepe taught me how to snorkel for the first time. Definitely recommend.

This was an amazing trip and I highly recommend it. We are a family of four with a 12 years old boy and a 6 years old girl. The kayak trip was perfectly guided by Maury and Paco who truly deserved a 5 stars review. They were very accommodating and adapted well to the different skill levels of the group. We will definitely come back to have more adventures in Los Cabos with Hight Tide!

Yuuls was our guide and we were very happy with the trip he planned for us. Prompt pickup from our resort and the Jee was clean with gear ready to be used. He was knowledgeable about the area, history, fauna and very friendly, easygoing. We enjoyed driving the dirt roads through the small villages and desert/mountain landscapes. Stopped numerous times for photos and gorgeous overlooks. At Cabo Plumo, he setup our small camp and helped outfit us with wetsuits and directions to the best snorkeling spots. We saw many fish and aquatic life, pleasantly surprised. After some more driving we stopped at an oasis, a citrus farm where we are treated to some mandarins. A lunch stop at a small local Mexican restaurant for fish tacos and delicious mango margaritas helped cap off a day of adventures. The drove back to the resort the conversation was great and we were happy to have booked this excursion.

The views were beautiful and kayaking was lots of fun. We appreciated the guides doing all the loading and unloading of equipment, the mouth pieces for the snokles were disinfected well and water and granola bars were included. Would have liked it if the guides shared more information about the area to the whole group and interacted with us more. Also, be aware that you won't see anything through the glass bottom as it is a small window and the water is not clear enough and valuables had to be left in the vehicle. You will definitely get wet on this outing so have a plan for your phone if you want it to take photos. I was able to tuck mine in the provided life jacket but I should have brought a waterproof pouch. Our group of 4 had a good time and were happy we participated but $80 USD per person for a 2 hour kayak/snorkel was a bit pricey.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review,
we are happy you enjoyed the tour, as you mention the views are beautiful and we are happy you had lots of fun.
There are no hidden costs on the tour and we offer what you received, we offer also complementary round trip transportation if needed, the tour does include the entrance of the bay as well (natural protected area), wet suits (if needed), and many other small details.
If you add the cost of those things like taxi or uber, entrances, wetsuit rental, etc you will see the price is excellent, it would be a very price to pay those ads separately.
We do recommend water prove cases or cameras for any water activity.
We certainly hope to see you on your next visit to sunny Cabo

This was a great trip.
Not to long so great for a rookie kayaker.
The sea lions did some excellent posing for us. Thousands of fish of all colours for the snorkel.
Super instruction from the guides before we left so everything went perfect.
The guides made the trip worthwhile, punctual, informative, personal and very professional. I would do this or a longer trip with this crew.
Sergio and ? On Feb 12th.
You know how it goes in Mexico....can't remember it all.

We thought seeing El Arco by water would be the best way and why hop on a motor boat when you can kayak out there in a small group. Pepe and the "Tarzan" of Cabo picked us up at our hotel and kept us entertained as we cruised to a couple other hotels on the way to the beach to launch. They did all the work to get us ready and guided us out to the arch. And Pepe got us set up for pictures - ours was great. Then we paddled to the beach, took a short walk to Lovers and Divorce Beach to see the amazing surf. They really made sure we were safe along the walk. Then we had a chance to do a loop out to Pelican Rock for a bit of snorkeling. No fins necessary even though we brought them. There was some fun fish watching. Then they packed everything back up while we rinsed off and drove us back...it was a great half-day tour. I was also impressed by the private locked up parking at the beach - nice bonus.

Paco and Ivan were our guides and they were awesome! We were able to leave our valuables and phones safely in the van during our excursion. They were thorough and safely took care of our girls. Safety and regulations were their priority. They made sure we hydrated and were able to bring us all the way to the arch despite all the boat traffic. During our snorkeling portion Paco brought us around the snorkeling area and is a very good swimmer. When my daughter got sick they didn’t rush us and adjusted to help bring her back safely. I recommend this excursion for adventurous families. It was a little challenging at times but if you listened to Ivan and Paco you were safe. A++++++

my adult daughter and I spent a wonderful morning with Maury and Ivan. We paddled up close to the famous arch, which was part of the breathtaking scenery. We saw sea lions. We saw hundreds of colorful fish while snorkeling just an easy short swim from the beach.
Best, the guides were so helpful, encouraging and flexible. I had an injured hip and they were on hand to help me in and out of the kayak, and guided me safely past the first wave break getting in and out of the snorkeling area. They were knowledgeable and answered questions about the fish we saw.
A great half day outing!

The owners and staff of this excursion should be commended for their professionalism. This company restores my faith in people and business.
My wife and I were scheduled to do an afternoon kayak. Once we were at the meet up location the guide showed us that the conditions (wind and waves) we’re not going to make excursion safe or pleasant.
They gave us every option to continue, but after recognizing it would not be a safe or fun day they allowed us to opt out of the excursion and refunded our money immediately.
We were so taken back with the professionalism and the customer focus. A company that thought about our day and experience before their own profit.
These are the kind of companies you want to do business with. Can’t recommend enough! We hope to come back and do the excursion next time!

Hello, The kayak is in the ocean but I didn’t find that the water got so choppy (a lot of boats around) that it was going to tip us over. However, when we got back to the beach at the end of the excursion the waves were getting so high that it knocked my husband out and there I went as well. Just be careful.

Yes
I went in Feb 2020. Glass bottom is not see thru (plexiglass).
Great guides and a great way to spend 1/2 day. Sea lions and all. Stop at a bay and see all sorts of sealife kayaking.

Are there single kayaks or do you need to be paired up with someone if you are alone?

one guy in our group was solo, and he went in a double kayak with a guide. They are very flexible and accommodating, as a solo they will make it work for you.
