Friendly, attentive and professional. After jockeying for position with the other boats for photo ops by the arch (we seemed to get first dibs), we headed out to catch some breeze for the sails, find whales, and get our sunset photos. Super fun and learned a lot of the history. Then we took a nice bus to the camel farm (45 min ride) and enjoyed an amazing camel ride on the beach, a great dinner and tequila tasting! Jorge and team were great and the pics turned out amazing. This is a must do with kids of all ages and allows us to check multiple boxes with one day! Highly recommend and they also come grab you from your hotel and drop you off later. Prepare for about 5.5 hours all in.Written March 19, 2025

I am a first time ATV rider and had no trouble keeping up, everything was explained perfectly and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Though you may find cheaper prices nothing beats the customer service here! The food and tequila were absolutely amazing as well. We had an incredible snorkeling trip in Los Cabos with Cabos Adventures, accompanied by our two kids (11 and 15). The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish.
Our tour guide, José, and the captain, Shaggy, were simply outstanding. They had a great sense of humor, kept us entertained throughout the trip, and shared fascinating insights about the landmarks we passed, such as El Arco and Lovers Beach.
The guided snorkeling session was equally amazing. We were thrilled to see schools of various fish species in their natural habitat. It was a memorable underwater adventure for the whole family.
The highlight of our trip came on the way back when we unexpectedly spotted two humpback whales breaching. Although it wasn’t part of the itinerary, Captain Shaggy kindly stopped the boat so we could witness these majestic creatures up close and capture some incredible photos.
This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend Cabos Adventures for anyone visiting Los Cabos. It’s an experience you won’t forget!

We had an amazing experience with Rigo Karla and Paula. The pick up was easy, it’s an extra $10 per person. The tour itself was great. The food was just okay. The sailing part was the best! For snorkeling you only have 45 mins which wasn’t enough time but the current was high w/o it was hard to snorkel. There was only one type of fish and a ton of jellyfish. It was still a great time and the views were amazing. The only downside of this was the hotel drop off. Apparently they only come every hour so the boat dropped us off at 3:06 so we had to wait one hour for the bus to come get us. It was such a waste of time and disorganized. I felt like they did this so you purchase food inside their shop…just be prepared to wait or maybe just Uber back.

Holy wow. We planned a trip for 48 ppl (on 3 boats) with Fiorela and team, and from the first contact through the planning emails, to check-in and on the boat, they are gracious, timely, responsive, communicate thoroughly, and just all-around FUN. Cannot recommend highly enough. The food was awesome, perfect for a day on the water. They shared info about wildlife (we saw grey and humpback whales, sea lions, puffer fish & more), took care of a few queasy teammates, and generally felt like they were part of our team. We felt safe and entirely relaxed the whole time. HIGHLY recommend. Thank you, Fiorela!

We went on a day trip with Cabo Adventures and had a wonderful time. We unexpectantly saw several whales and the crew made sure we did not miss one. Martin the sailer/bartender took awesome care of all the guest providing drinks and food. He made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. Capt Karim was amazing he kept us close and in contact with several whales and was in total control of the sail boat the entire time. Photographer Saul was very friendly and spent time visiting with all the guests and took amazing photographs. I highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to have this crew your day will be one not to forget.

My experience was the following:
- to start this company is a giant company. It has multiple tours and they even have a small aquarium in the port. Of course, it shows that they have a good logistics system and everything runs well. That being said, don't expect any personalized treatment. You are one of thousands.
- During the tour, although it is an open bar, in reality there is not much open bar time because once you arrive at the first “beach” you enter the water and then on the way back it is all with sailing (which is a cool experience) but in That time they can't make drinks.
- What I didn't like about the tour is that you go through the arch, they take your photo and from there you then travel to Chileno Beach but you can't get close to the shore and then we return. I was expecting at least two different beaches and I also assumed we were going to the beaches near the arch.
- Now what really bothered me were two things: 1. During the tour there is a photographer on the boat who takes photos and then you can buy them but they actually abuse the prices! Single packages start at $85 (after you've paid $140pp for the bottle) and just 1 photo costs $35. 2. Our tour ended at 2pm and we had paid for their transportation, however, the buses leave every hour… so they force you to be there for 1 hour! Of course for you to consume in their store, etc. We take an Uber and that's it.
Importantly, the boat employees, both El Capitan, the host and the photographer were friendly and did their job very well. My problem was more with the company and the prices.
Tip: if you just want to see the arch and go to a nearby beach, go to the marina and from there discuss what you want with someone local.

Our original tour (different tour) was canceled at the last minute, so we rebooked to this one, literally the day before. Not knowing what we were going to get I was very nervous, but it ended up being just an absolutely fantastic day! Loved that it was a smaller group (only 12 guests on the sailboat), service was absolutely fantastic and we got a lot more than we anticipated. Saw tons of humpback whales breaching as well as a gray whale, which were just cherries on top of the day. Going out to the arch of course it is very busy, but Captain Chino did a great job maneuvering for us to be able to get some great pictures. Saul, the photographer on board, was fantastic and they included shots of the breaching whales for free in the ones we purchased at the end of the trip (we chose to have them airdropped to our phone which was an awesome option). Cedric kept the drinks flowing and made a last minute adjustment for my dietary restriction. All in all the crew was amazing (made sure to keep everyone safe and happy), we sailed, we saw whales, we snorkeled, we had good on board food and drinks - overall would HIGHLY recommend if you enjoy more of an intimate experience!

The guide was wonderful, and the experience was great. We got to see all kinds of fish, rays, jumping out of the water, and even a couple of reef sharks, while we were snorkeling! The only negative thing, and the reason why I gave four stars and not five, is the transportation. We paid for round-trip transportation, but we were not informed about the return trip. Apparently the bus leaves at the top of the hour each hour. We arrived back shortly before 4 o’clock We sat and enjoyed the snack that was included in our excursion. We were not told that the bus was leaving at 4 o’clock and when we went into the building at 4:04 we’re told the bus left but we could take the next bus at 5. We could not wait until 5:00 as we had reservations so we had to pay for our own trip back which cost us another $25 by water taxi.

This was an outstanding excursion. Would rate jt 11 out of 10 if possible. Left hotel at 7:10 via their private van, got to marina at about 7:30, registration etc was easy, and in the boat at 8. Weather on Dec 30 was 65 but warmed to 75 by late morning. On the boat, swim shorts with pullover sweats and a sweater were a good way to start, and then peel off layer as the morning progressed. Some were happy with just the swim shorts. Food, breakfast, was served readily and was delicious and fresh foods, very filling. Drinks were flowing easily but not egregiously. The boat ride to the arch and lovers/divorce beaches was quick, we took some photos, and we moved on. Not much to do there but a few ooh/ah moments and views, so there was no need to linger. We then rode to the bays where we snorkeled. The area was beautiful, near a beach, and safe. All the equipment was clean and in great shape. The instruction and guidance was perfect. Paddle board there for t Jo r who wanted more support in the water. Some stayed on the boat, as well. About 45-60 minutes in the water, free to snorkel, swim, jump/dive off the boat countless times, etc. Then back on boat and into open water where they put up the sails, and enlisted us in some physical fun with the sailboat. Lots of fun! Lunch was served on the ride back, again delicious and filling. We were lucky that we saw several whales and followed alongside them as allowed. Our guide had lots of knowledge he shared about the whales, and we could feel his genuine interest and love of the sea and the animals. The whales was a bonus, as this wasn’t a dedicated whale watching tour. We just got lucky. Rogelio and Juan were our guide and captain, respectively. They were top notch, kept us safe, and made everything fun as could be. This was a highlight of our trip. We were 3 families, with teens between 14-21. Thank you!

My husband and I decided to take this sailing cruise since we both have never been on a sailboat. At the beginning of this adventure the drinks were flowing and we were given a great snack. Then we went snorkeling and saw some beautiful schools of fish along with a pufferfish. We were given a lunch and more drinks. Afterwards it was time to sail back, and here is where I have docked one star on my review: I feel I would have enjoyed the sailing experience more if I had been given a briefing on what to expect and how to stay safe. The wind was great for the sails, which took the boat sideways and left me hanging on for dear life. I was really scared I would fall into the water. After the initial scary part wore off, I was able to enjoy the sailing but I was also in an uncomfortable position and afraid to move. My husband said this was his favorite part of our vacation and the best excursion we’ve ever done. He was able to stand up against the sail (and related the feeling to the graviton ride at the fair). We got some amazing photos done by the photographer on board and ended up buying the photo package. I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone!

It was an average excursion - nothing special but not horrible. The crew was welcoming and tried to be funny. Food was good but it is hard to share a plate while in such close quarters (sail boat) and on the water. Drinks were meh but getting drunk wasn’t our goal. We had a windy day so snorkeling was awful and paddle boarding was not offered. The crew did not bother to point out any whales. Instead, this was done by watching other boats in our vicinity and listening to those people react. I wish other reviewers had mentioned how cold the water is this time of year because I would have reconsidered or not booked at all. I would never suggest February for this outing. The water was beautiful but we could’ve just taken a water taxi to Lovers Beach for a fraction of this cost. For the money we spent, I recommend doing something else: a catamaran or a sunset cruise or food tour in town. Communication about return to resort was also lacking. They have a bus that goes back each hour. This was never communicated and our boat crew just disappeared at the dock area. We rushed back thinking we had been left. In conclusion, the crew was nice but I would not book with this company again.

We are a family of 6 interested in this excursion. Only thing is, we have a 5 yr old and are wondering if there can be an exception made to age limit because she can bring her own life vest, she knows how to swim and if she can’t come, none of our family is willing to do the excursion. I would say contact the sail company direct. I dont remember seeing children on our boat. Its a mono hull sail boat. If they will not allow a 5 year old on the boat shop around . there is no shortage of boat ride options in cabo. My daughter was there last month and chartered a boat with just her 8 friends on it. Im sorry I didnt look into that . There were no children on our outing but I was there in Feb during the week. I will tell you that the snorkel location is in a protected bay and the water was super calm. My GF wore a life jacket , I didnt and no one had any issues. I am a Ship captain and avid scuba diver. my son learned to dive at 12 and had no issues.. I think a 12 year old would be fine in the water. The crew was fantastic.
