- wesleycU4041ZL0 contributionsLove the monkeys!I absolutely loved this! The monkey experience was so fun and such a unique experience, I can’t stop talking about it. If I could I would’ve paid extra for a private experience to enjoy more time with the monkey, loved it! The atv was fun although very dusty so be prepared for that, wasn’t my favorite but my partner enjoyed it. The cenote was very cool to experience, was somewhat quick but definitely an enjoyable stop after the atv. This took up most the day and would definitely recommend this to others.Written March 15, 2025
- Relax7928210 contributionsVery enjoyableVery well run and a lot of fun. They did a great job on safety. And we all learned a lot. The Cenote expereince were great! But don't forget to bring sandals or water shores. Maybe a small towl. Also a face mask or bandana. I would recomend this one adventure. Thanks Guys!Written February 21, 2025
- W8564JSannew0 contributionsA Perfect AfternoonEasy to schedule, good communication, shuttle was on time... And it was a perfect afternoon. The guides gave a great overview of the ATVs and made sure everyone could ride at a comfortable pace. The ride to/from the cenote was great. The underground cenote swim was incredible. It's hard to believe they exist on our planet. The photos they take throughout are high quality - almost our whole group purchased them at the end. I learned so much on the tour through the sanctuary. The best part was the guides. They were all so nice and had great senses of humor. Our tour through the sanctuary was led by Gabriel who was a fantastic teacher and very kind person. Thank you all for hosting us in your country.Written February 15, 2025
- BonnieW9320 contributionsDisappointing!Monkeys were all in cages. Our guide was informative, but the videos make it look like you would have more up close encounters with monkeys. We did go into a separate area with a monkey named Sara and a photographer took pictures of everyone with the monkey. (No personal phones or cameras allowed, it was expensive to buy the digital photos) Photos with birds and/or snake were available too. We saw zebras on the drive in, but tour guide never brough us near them. We also paid for the cenote, which was definitely not worth it! It was very dark, rocky and slippery and very cold! We took a few pics and left. We paid their transportation to pick us up at the hotel. The van was packed, we were crammed into the front seat with the driver.Written February 12, 2025
- connori20250 contributionsEXCELLENT!Super fun! Worth every penny! Definitely check this place out! Do the whole tour. ATV, Cenotes, & The monkeys!! Buy the photos at the end too. Also super worth it!Written January 26, 2025
- Pvr56510 contributionsGood Work!I love the work they do to rehabilitate zoo, circus, and illegally housed animals. Hats off to Mexico for making it illegal to profit off of wildlife. You are miles ahead of the U.S,Written January 21, 2025
- IndianaTraveler810 contributionsGreat experience at the animal sanctuaryWe loved this tour! They are doing wonderful work with animals needing rescue. Very dedicated. The interactive experiences were great and done with much respect for the animals. We bought the photos and they were emailed to us within 24 hours. Just had to download from a link. They were well worth the cost.Written January 20, 2025
- smellsbadrf0 contributionsDON'T BUY THE PHOTOSTransport and hour late. Tour was great. Bought pics which I never received and no way to contact them. If you book expect van issues and don't purchase the photos they take.Written January 3, 2025
- K1018QPcassandras0 contributionsIt’s worth the money. This tour delivered more than expected. Abraham was an excellent knowledgeable guide. Pick up at our Airbnb was exactly on time. No hidden fees or sales. Now the best part: There are no guarantees, but we saw crocodiles, sea turtles, a manatee, bottle nose dolphins, and lots of birds. While snorkeling we saw a sting ray, giant lobster and a cat shark. Then of course the beautiful beach and tasty lunch. It was absolutely amazing! It was our favorite activity in Tulum.Written January 2, 2025
- 893marikay0 contributionsDefinitely worth a visit! Was not a good start. 40mins late on pickup. I don’t really know what happened. Explanation they provided was weird. Felt like they forgot about us. After arrival and check in, we were assigned to guide named Oscar. He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly guide. My unhappy mood went away after attending his. Also I was very pleased to meet and listening stories/ history about all monkey. Cons: I wish photographers can take better pictures. I bought the $50 USD package because I wanted memories but after viewing the pictures, most of my pictures were not good. Eyes closed, blurry and terrible angles. Very disappointed.Written December 26, 2024

He ensured everyone was comfortable and safe while adding fun and informative touches along the way. The adventure itself was a perfect mix of thrills and natural beauty. - laurafL996JP0 contributionsDO NOT BOOK - owner canceled 12 hours before and won't refund my money.I paid for 6 people to do SUP yoga and the business owner canceled my reservation 12 hours before when I declined her request to pickup her employee (yoga teacher). She did not refund my money! You must pay her via PayPal also. You can go to the lagoon via Neek Tulum and not have to gamble with this lady. Aqua Asanas is another choice for SUP yoga in tulum.Written November 7, 2024

We were picked up at the big grocery store in town. We were early and grabbed a cold drink at the cafe next to the office. The actual pickup was late and not well organized. We arrived at the main camp where all the various adventure tours launch (this is primarily an ATV and zipline place). Because we were just doing the horse ride and cenote, we kept getting shuffled around and no-one quite knew what to do with us. After a long wait, we got a nice ride on some gentle (and tired!) horses along the dirt roads. This is not really a "jungle" ride, but it was nice nonetheless.
When we got to the cenote, we felt kind of abandoned again. The place is really set up for groups of 10-20 people doing the ATVs. So we waited a long time. I was afraid that the cenote was going to be disappointing. The path down is very rickety and leads to a rather unimposing entrance. The water was a bit cold and there wasn't much room to swim (so I thought)....
And then, the guide had us swim deep into the cave! He pointed out bats and blind frogs and limestone formations. We ended up a few passages deep and saw some old coral formations from when Yucatan was undersea. There is an amazing shaft of light where some tree roots poked through the cave ceiling. It was a transformative experience.
We ate a very late lunch (pickup was at 12:30, lunch was at almost 4). It was simple, but tasted amazing (cooked in an open kitchen next to the tables).
When it was time to go home, we had another long wait as the vans were filled with people with higher priority. Then the van we were supposed to take was locked and no-one had a key. Finally, we made the trip back to Tulum.
With the bungled transport, long waits, and feeling abandoned again and again, I just couldn't give this trip 5 stars. HOWEVER, the cave swim was absolutely magical. It was the highlight of our trip to Tulum. My wife could not stop talking about how great it was.
