One of the most fun things we did on a 12 day trip through the Yucatan!
We had admired the many beautiful wall murals we'd been seeing while driving through the Mayan Riviera, and got really excited when we found out that a tour was available in Tulum of that city's vibrant street art scene. Zach did not disappoint us in our expectations and showed us beautiful art that we would have missed much of without his knowledgable guidance! Plus getting to hear the stories about the artists and their creations and often times about the people featured in the art made this a truly memorable highlight in our trip. My only suggestion would be if there are more than one of you to consider asking Zach to give you a private tour. We had another guest along on our tour who wanted to talk about their business plans for hiring street artists that edged out a lot of what Zach clearly wanted to share about the art we were looking at. Example: Zach responds to yet another question about this person's business plan "But what do you think about THIS mural?" (the one in front of us, a truly stunning mural imho). Guest's response: "I've already seen it": -(. But it was a great tour, and there is so much magnificent street art in Tulum that if Zach had a Tulum Mural Tour One and a Tulum Mural Tour Two we would have signed up for the second tour! The only other activity we signed up for twice because it was so good in this trip was the guided snorkeling at Akumal beach to see the sea turtles. Tulum btw was our favorite town and where we'd spend more time than the two nights we were there if we return to the Yucatan. Have fun!

Zack knew so much about local and international art! We loved our experience, it brightened our entire day. He gave us an outstanding overview of the local mural scene, and had a connection with many artists. Would 10/10 recommend. What a great activity to add to a trip!

I'm not a big fan of art but I REALLY enjoyed that tour. Your guide is so chill and smart and these 2 hours went like 10 minutes. I love the stories behind those pictures. You also walk on streets that you are probably not going by yourself. Also you get good tips where to go and what to eat in Tulum.

This is a must do for art lovers. The murals were amazingly beautiful. The tour guide, Zack, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art. I have done mural tours in various locations, but this one tops the list.

I really liked this tour of Tulum murals - an enjoyable and interesting way to spend 2 hours, especially for art lovers like me. The murals range from funky to poignant and capture the rich spirit of Mexican and Tulum identity and history. The guide Zach (Zak?), an American ex-pat, was great - he was friendly, humorous, knowledgeable about the mural and its artists, and took us through some interesting Tulum streets.
