You will end up paying a lot more to get where you need to and the company will do nothing to make up for it. Not only did they leave me stranded at the airport with no way of getting to my hotel (the airport staff confirmed their representatives had left the premises way before my scheduled arrival), but to make matter worse, they refused to refund the cost of the transportation, which I obviously had to pay in advance, when the service was not provided. My flight was scheduled to arrive at 10:30pm and the airport staff (including the OFFICIAL ground transportation supervisor on call) confirmed they had not seen a representative from eTransfers on site since way before 10:00pm. I strongly advice not to book with this company if you want to get to your destination. Not only was their service not fulfilled, but their support staff seems to be EXPERTLY trained in making excuses for their bad (or complete lack of) service, instead placing the blame on their customers as opposed being helpful or remorseful. When I called the support line, I waited on hold for over 40 minutes before speaking to a human being who did nothing other than cite their terms and conditions and said there was nothing to be done. The representative actually felt bad and did apologize and expressed how sorry he was over the terrible situation I’d been put in but still, reluctantly, did let me know that the company would probably do everything in their power to avoid making it right and would fight any attempt made on my part to get a refund. The following day, GEROM S (who handled my follow up email) basically confirmed what the phone representative mentioned and did absolutely nothing to correct the situation, citing again their T&Cs and straight up lying about having someone there waiting to provide the service when there clearly wasn’t. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY’S SERVICES unless you want the possibility of being left out in the cold. Save yourself the headache. Their staff are experts at stonewalling and deflecting blame for poor service. I eventually paid twice the rate (once with them and once more with the on-site taxi company that eventually did provide the service at an overly inflated price given the “after hours” time of my arrival). Attached are pictures of their email response as well of the receipt for what I had to pay a different company ON TOP of what I had already paid eTransfers for the same service.

The cars are nice clean and air conditioned. If you opt in for the premium they will even give you a beer or water and make a store stop. Great company. A+

At the end of the cruise, we were transported back to Heathrow. Because of our previous positive experience, my family booked with Mason & Green for transport from Heathrow to our hotel and then our return trip to Heathrow. Very punctual and safe drivers with newer vehicles. We will continue to recommend Mason & Green.

My card was charged $46.66($7.66). Although 7 bucks is not a lifechanging number I did chat with them inquiring about the price difference and was told that different banks have different exchange rates. I have been buying from Amazon US and Alibaba in Cina and Amazon Mexico for more than 15 years and when I buy something for a certain price in $, my card does get charged for that price(I´ve never gotten a price difference). They say what you see is what you get...this does not apply. Why do they show a price(in dollars) and then charge something else? There is not supposed to be any difference or exchange rate if you buy something in dollars and get charged in dollars. Now that I am writing this review, I am reading other people that got the exact same problem. I definitely was very upset for this overcharge and the answer they gave me. There are plenty of other options that charge you what they say(I´ll make sure to book with other options for future plans) Besides this, my trip was OK. Although the driver had an uncomfortable high volume on the radio, the rest was OK.
- Ryan A00Great transfer experienceWe found etransfers great to use. After we went through customs we walked outside and to the right to find the area they sent us in the picture. It was a bit of a wait for our driver because of all the construction (not their fault). The representative was in constant communication with the driver and eventually she walked us to a less crowded area to meet him (while taking pictures with her phone and sending them to the driver so he knew exactly where we were). After that it was a smooth ride with a friendly driver. When it was time for pickup, the shuttle was right on time and again it was a smooth ride back with another friendly driver. There was also great communication via WhatsApp once I had WiFi at my resort. I paid $125 round trip so I found that to be reasonable for a round trip transfer to Playa del Carmen from CUN. I see a lot of negative reviews so it is hard to fully recommend this company, but I can say our experience with a prebooked private transfer to Playa del Carmen was a great, hassle free experience. It was spring break and very busy but it was nice to not have to worry about the transfer.

I want something easy, simple and that will make me feel safe and calm. eTransfers was exactly that. I had never been to Mexico before so the team sent me pics of where i would be coming out to after customs and what to look for which made it so easy to find them. They were very professional and took us right away over to our van. the driver took our luggage for us and got us settled into our private air conditioned bus. it was a quick 40 minute drive to Playa. The trip was so smooth that I booked them on the way back to the airport later that week. There is construction right around the airport so the 40 minute drive FROM the airport turns into a 90-100 minutes drive when returning TO the airport . they told us about this and I was so thankful because I would have never booked it so early to come back. I watched people sprinting into the airport because they did not plan to sit in traffic for almost 2 hours and they missed their flights. eTransfers sent reminders and updates regarding my transportation. Their drivers were safe but skilled in dealing with that traffic. It made the worst part of any trip I plan a lot less stressful!

I sent a message to the company and they responded that the driver would be there in a minute, and sent a pic of his reported position" (first lie) I could see where the driver was "stuck in traffic" but there was no traffic, and plenty of parking where we were waiting... Driver never showed up despite being told he was "just outside" he was not. I could see the area and no cars/shuttles to be found. After the 15 minute "waiting window" expired, I sent a message that we had to take another options since the driver never showed and they needed to cancel and refund since they did not show.... instead of customer service, we immediately got a "notice of no show" and a charge for the ride to airport.. Thats laughable THEY DID NOT SHOW, not us.. I sent the dispatcher time stamped pics of us standing nest to the pick up sign, but they still are trying to charge us BEWARE.. THEY ARE SHADY!!!

They initially tried to point me towards another company until I showed him an email with blue shirt transfers person and pointed out same shirt. After once thought might be timing, oh no 2nd time worst than the first. If you want to hang in the parking lot and watch everyone else leave for their hotel this is your company. Been coming down for over 20 years, this is not normal. We spent our time writing down every other shuttle service.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with in all my years of travel.
My father was exposed to COVID three days before our trip so we had to cancel. I was informed that there are no refunds unless we paid for PREMIUM (overpriced) rate.
I was initially promised a full refund when I contacted by phone, but my emails to them went unanswered and no refund was given. When I called again. I was told there are no refunds for any discounted rates/
After disputing with my credit card company, they prevailed. I’m out $200 for a trip I never took and a service never received. Good luck finding their refund policy on their website, it requires extensive searching.
This os a shady company and I would never give them my business. Please pay too dollar if there’s any chance you may have to cancel (illness, passport issues) because they will ignore your emails but fight the credit card companies to keep your money.

NEVER book with this company. Had 2 lousy experiences. First we booked our ride from Cancún airport to Tulum and it took the driver a long time to come get us, then he told us he hadn’t slept in 3 days because the company was exploiting them but they needed the money, so I talked to him all the way afraid he would fall sleep while driving.
Then, booked a ride from the hotel back to the airport and they only asked when the flight leaves but don’t tell you what time they’re picking you up. I had to call because I didn’t receive a confirmation email and they said that the driver was already there (about 5 hours before our flight) and he wasn’t going to wait for us, not even for extra charge, and he was very rude and just left because “he had other things to do”. They send the drivers but don’t tell you and then the driver leaves and you get charged for the service. Save yourself a bad experience and just get a regular taxi.

Not recommended. Driver was not there to pick up on time and did not wear a mask. Upon departure, a text message and WhatsApp message were sent to change the time. They seem to be claiming they didn’t receive the text and tried to charge me again for transportation. Rebooted through the Fairmont which was 25% less than etransfers, in a nicer vehicle and with a driver who wore a mask. Don’t be fooled by the reviews, they push you to review positively after the trip. Avoid!

Reservation and payment process was simple. Connection at the airport was very easy and communication was helpful. Quick trip to our resort in Mayakoba. The problem was the return. Without dragging out the details, if you choose to go with them (although I never would again), be sure to check all the confirmation DATES very carefully. They sent a confirmation for our return 2 days before departure. I did not read the actual date close enough, although the time was correct. So they tried to pick us up 1 day early which resulted in a "no show charge of the fee". Ok, maybe my fault that I didn't catch their mistake. So I rebook at full cost only to have them send a confirmation for a day after our departure. An hour of trying to reach someone (good luck with that) resulted in me wanting to cancel because I wasn ' t sure they were even going to come. They said "no refunds." So we decided to just go with them (I'm already at $ 120 for the RT due to the no show). Then they were 30 minutes late to pick us up. Very stressful at the end. Eventually, they made it. But I won't ever use them again. A taxi would have been slightly more expensive (if I didn't have to pay for the no-show) and much less stressful. I booked with E transfers for our anniversary to pick my husband and I up from Cancun international to Tulum. Our private transportation texted me as soon as our flight landed in Cancun and gave us direction to the platform they will be at along with asking how many people were in my party and our attire. Once reaching the platform we were greeted and had to wait 20 ( the only down side ) til our actually driver arrived. We just started drinking lol. The ride to our hotel was smooth and the driver even offered to stop if we wanted to get drinks or use the restroom since the trip is an hour and Half. Going back to the airport our driver arrived on time and the ride was smooth again. I would recommend booking with them differently.

Luis from E transfers helped us and provided Unbelievable service, would highly recommend. Driver arrived on time and got us to the airport at the time we requested.
We had some additional questions and therefore had to speak with customer service over the phone and WhatsApp - they were able to converse in both English and Spanish perfectly, and were outstanding in providing assistance. We found speaking over WhatsApp to be very convenient.
Will be using them wherever possible. Thanks

Absolutely terrible. When we arrived there was no one to pick us up. They said it would take an hour and a half to wait. It was already 9pm. When we asked for a refund they said they could still fufill the trip but we had to pay another 228$. They promised this would still be round trip and they would still pick us up from our hotel to return. They pushed us into a “friend” come to find out another company where they split the money. In total I spend 448$ and only just back 220$. And they would not show up to take us back to airport. When I tried to report it they denied the whole thing. Please beware, this is exactly the thing that scams people quickly. Unreliable, unprofessional, and overall a scam.

This actually happened in May 2021. I realized I didn't do a review when I was looking at my TA 'Trips' to rebook with eTransfers again. Previously, we were returning home from UNICO resort and our van was late. Then I realized that when I booked it months earlier it was for the next day. I called them with the UNICO concierge in a panic that we were going to miss our flight or pay $100's for a taxi, that may still be late, if they couldn't help with my screw up.
They diverted a van from another pickup that had plenty of time and had us headed to Cancun Airport within 15 minutes for the 1 hour plus drive. Got there just in time and they saved the day. Thanks for making our mistake your problem.

Booked one day before my trip and was hesitant due to the many mixed reviews. I will continue to use eTransfers for trips in MX. As long as you walk past the exit at CUN, you will find 2-3 attendants with smartphones. Gave my name, let me and my friends visit the airport bar for drinks and then went off to Tulum. On return day, I received a text and whatsapp message confirming pick up time. Was 20 mins early but waited until the designated time and even stopped at the Tulum sign so we can take pictures. Great service!

Was told they would charge $80 US to go to Playa Del Carmen from the airport. Instead they charged us $100US. They told us it was going to be a 10 or 15 min wait. Instead we are standing here an hour later getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are liars.
