What is Travelers’ Choice?
Tripadvisor gives a Travelers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travelers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
The cenotes are one of the attractions that distinguishes the state of Yucatan. Cenotes are unique formations in this region, and in addition to being a primary resource for obtaining fresh water in the jungle, they were sacred places for the Mayans, representing the entrance to the spiritual underworld. The spectacular underground landscape makes each cenote a place worthy of admiration; the sunlight filtered through holes between the rocks and projected onto the green, crystalline or turquoise waters combine to offer a visual delight to visitors. To all those people who enjoy the aquatic world, they will live a unique experience by immersing themselves in the depths of these underwater galleries, in addition you can also enjoy a dip and swim. To end the tour day, you will be able to visit the beautiful city of Valladolid, where you will have free time to explore its streets, its history, and take photos.

          Crowded and rushed snorkeling experience
The water was calm for the day and that was very nice. The view was beautiful. However, the boat felt crowded with so many people on it. With what we paid for the experience, I would have liked a bit more room on the boat. We thought the snorkeling was a fun experience but felt very rushed. With all the other boats trying to also snorkel in the same location it was a bit chaotic. The island was beautiful and the people are very nice. We loved renting the golf carts. Overall, the experience was okay I just wish it didn’t cost as much.

The team of the Paradise was amazing.they took great care of us, checking in to see if there was anything we needed. The shared ways to get the best deals on the island.

Don’t book, it was not good! 0/10
Don’t recommend at all, not professional. Your guides didn’t speak very good English, not many instructions were given and didn’t feel completely safe. They took photos of us but then never showed them to us or offered them to us to buy. Also there’s NO TRANSPORTATION BACK. We don’t speak Spanish and we were stuck in the middle of no where and had no clue how to get back. The snorkeling itself was awesome, but everything else was not good. I recommend somewhere else!

The catamaran and crew were amazing. We booked the deluxe so the drinks kept flowing and had a smaller group. Little confusion once we got to the island as nothing there is included. Rented golf carts & went to N beach. Had lunch and drinks at a beach bar that had a bathroom.

          AMAZING SNORKLING TOUR
The tour was amazing, the guides where great and the gentleman that was arranging the tour spoke great English and made sure we were looked after. We chose the option with food included and the restaurant was really good authentic Mexican food.

the tour to mujeres island with the company Para viajantes was very good. the pick up time was met by our riu hotel. when we arrived at the boat, we were about 20 people, we were constantly given drinks, rum, vodka, mojitos, very nice. on the island we had a free and varied lunch. we loved it. we spent a spectacular day. thank you for your service.

Great experience! Got to enjoy all four of the cenotes, kayaks and zip line. The tour was very informative and interactive. Over all an amazing time.

          Over Priced!!!
Way too expensive for the experience. Just take a ferry to Isla and rent a golf cart for the day. Crew was great but just not enough to offer for this price. Not premium anything and lunch was a tomato, lettuce and mozzarella sandwich with a cookie. That was it! No fruit. No Ceviche. I’ve done these “premium” trips many times and this was far from “premium.”

Do not book through Trip Advisor
The reef was great, but I cannot recommend booking with this company through Trip Advisor. I was looking to start early and wanted to maximise the amount of time spent snorkeling (didn't really care about the beers and lunch) so I booked this tour, even though it was $40 USD more expensive than the alternatives, as it seemed to be offering more swimming time. Booked for 10am, arrived at the pick-up spot at 9:50am. Met one other tourist on the same tour, who had booked it for $60 USD. I guess I'm the fool there for paying more. After a while we were collected and walked to a man in a Gabo's tours shirt, who informed us that due to weather delaying other passengers we would not be leaving until 11am. I'm pretty sure this was not true, they had merely handed us off to another boat which didn't have sufficient passengers to be worth heading out. Came back at 11am, we didn't get underway until 11:30am, and then we waited for a further half an hour at a different dock for two other passengers. The tour boat was neither ParaViajantes or Gabo's tours but instead Magic Island. The reef and El Cielo were amazing, the Magic Island crew were great, but we maybe missed one of the stops? We only stopped three times (including the lunch) so I was unclear of the first stop was both Colombia and Palancar reefs (reads on Trip Advisor like they should be two separate one hour snorkels). Would have liked more snorkel time in general. Beer and the ceviche after were nice though. Look, I get it. Weather is unpredictable, you don't want to send a 15 person boat out with 2 people on it and other passengers can throw off schedules. But based on my experience I cannot recommend booking this company through Trip Advisor. Instead I'd recommend turning up at the dock, finding any snorkeling boat that's leaving soon and haggling a price. You'll get the exact same experience but likely cheaper and at a time that suits you. And if that happens to be with ParaViajantes (or Magic Island) you'll probably have a good time.

          A day of fun
We had a great time! Christian was a knowledgeable tour guide and made the entire day fun. The Ik Kil cenote is beautiful and was a refreshing thing to do before we went to the Chichen Itza site. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. We didn't go into the second cenote - we found hammocks nearby and enjoyed the weather.

          SCAM
Horrible. They contacted me the night before saying our 830am appointment is canceled and is moved to 130pm due to weather. The time change didn’t work for our schedule so we attempted to cancel and were denied a refund according to the company. THEY CANCELED NOT US!!! Unprofessional, schemey and downright a scam. Take your business elsewhere.

Very expensive ferry ride to Isla Mujeres
For 350 USD my wife and I got a boat ride to the island. Firstly, the bus that was supposed to pick us up at the hotel were not let through the security to the hotel - poor preparation. However, we decided to take a taxi to the boat (75 minutes and 120 USD later we arrived just in time. The first message we got was that the snorkeling was cancelled- sad. We then got onboard and were offered drinks and got a dry sandwich (lunch). No fresh pasta or sweets as described in the commercial. After 45 minutes we arrived Isla Mujeres. This is a tourist trap out of this world. The guide took us into a shopping mall were we could taste tequila and «get good prices». He gave us some tips on what we could do in the 3,5 hours we were stranded on the island. Nothing was arranged! Finally the 3,5 hour was over and we could take the ferry back to the mainland. This was truly a poor experience and definitely not worthy the price. If they had tried to compensate for the cancelled snorkeling with a bus tour around the island, it would have helped, but no initiative was taken. My best advice is to stay away and spend your time and money elsewhere.

          7/10
I’d give it a 7/10, we liked the cenotes and the stop in Valladolid(so much we went back by ourselves the next day). Chichen Itza itself felt a little rushed, but we did have an hour to ourselves. Our guide was amazing very funny but i felt like he could’ve been a little🤏🏼 more informative about the areas, it could’ve just been the language barrier. He did spend a lot of the time speaking in spanish and relayed the important parts in english but I do feel like we missed out on some stuff because of it. We booked the english tour but it was probably 65% spanish(not at Chichen Itza itself but on the bus)

All abord for a fun time!
We came with a large group (50+) and they were able to accommodate our party. We had an amazing time on the boat. The staff was awesome and the drinks were delicious. There was a beautiful sunset on the way home which was a perfect ending to the trip. It was a fun afternoon and I would recommend it to friends.

Amazing tour! If you want to focus on solely cenotes, this is the one!!! It was small group and they gave me enough time to swim and enjoy the moment, I loved how this tour is not so tight and move around and it was a great time to enjoy myself!! All cenotes were absolutely beautiful and I love to recommend this trip to my friends if they go Cancun!! The coordinator was also so amazing to manage trip and time, I was so impressed!! Thank you!!❤️

To start, my family missed our tour bus pickup because we were a little late to the pickup point, but Guido was so nice and accommodating that he made sure I wouldn't lose my money and instead he referred me to the next pickup point where we were able to get a taxi there and catch the tour buys. That was super nice of him and I appreciated that gesture the most since he was super responsive leading up to the trip and the day of the excursion. This was the best cenote tour if you are looking for more activities and views to see, we were on the move all day and Guido did a great job at making sure everyone felt accommodated and we were all moving at the right pace. We had the most fun at Oxman cenote and I love that they included extra time there for swimming and jumping. The buffet lunch was delicious and kept us full for the remainder of the trip. The drivers got us to our destinations in a timely manner and played some nice music on the way. The cenote tour guides were super nice and explained cool facts about Mayan history. Would definitely do this tour again for the price you pay it is well worth it. Amazing and beautiful cenotes with insane photo opportunities. This tour hits the best cenotes on the map for sure. We all had a blast! 10/10 recommend.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
