About
Discover full-bodied small-production Mexican mezcal and the captivating stories behind them!
This private Mexican mezcal tasting is set in an informal ambience. This a highly educative experience so you can ask questions, and relax!
These non-commercial, single estate, artisanal bottles are the supply-line we use for your private mezcal tasting. You won't try a single mezcal that comes from a branded or exported bottle.
We focus on single-batch, limited production mezcals, sourced directly from rural suppliers. And that's why you won't ever be able to try these mezcals back home, whether you are from Europe or the US. By the tour's end, you'll agree. The magic of turning cactus into mezcal is nothing short of a miracle.

- vanessadlr42900Beautiful and efficientI loved everything about Emmanuel and how he was with my family. He showed up to our resort beach, he was quick and efficient. Even at 9am it was hot and I have a 1.5 year old and 12 year old and he took the best pictures in a short amount of time (my request). Thank you so much for capturing my family in the most beautiful way. His communication was fast, the pictures were quickly delivered w multiple options.
- jennypH6969GQ00My experience with Hiram was great! My experience with Hiram was great! Long story short, my fiance and I had booked a photoset session traveling to PDC as a keepsake for our memories ( we dont have many photos together, let alone any nice photos, even of our engagement!) This was just a new experience for the both of us to see what we'd like. Fiance got sick of day of photoset, and I kindly asked Hiram if we can push out the meet time to which we did. We set up to meet at 5:45 as there were only two options 9:00am or 5:00pm but he made it work! It was so hot and humid, i was sunburnt, sweating nonstop and not once did Hiram make us feel uncomfortable and much as we already were. We had no idea really where to go so just opted for photo session areas around our hotel which was also easy and nice for us. I'm more of a spur of the moment, last minute booking ( i even booked this service maybe 24-48 hrs before trip) type of gal, so honestly I didn't care too much about location and scene. If you do care about photo op and sessions, just do your research in advance and let him know. My photos came out great, just waiting for the final editing!
- klarakroupa00Frida Kahlo -great tourFrida Kahlo has long amazed me so I was thrilled to see where she lived and worked for many years. We did it as a part of a bike tour (also amazing to see the history of old Mexico City up close) so we were able to "skip the line" with these tickets .... which is always a bonus. A must-see if you're in Mexcio City!
- saragerene00PerfectPerfect tour- lots of information, super friendly! Flexible with clients- highly recommend for people visiting Frida’s house.
- Explore57412400Awesome, one of a kindBeing in the moment and taking beautiful pics in downtown was a memorable experience. Emmanuel was a great host and photographer.
- ichimurab00Wonderful walking art tour with Iza.The tour with Iza was fantastic. I’ve been to PV numerous times, buy have never taken the time to do a tour regarding the wonderful art of the city. I am so glad I did this experience. I would highly recommend any visitor to take this tour.
- Beatriz G00Our guide was knowledgeable and kind. He did an excellent job explaining details thoroughly. Our guide Armando was very knowledgeable, respectful, and kind. He explained and provided details very well. He provided information that otherwise would have been missed.
- RickyE15600Do it, long live FKI love the history, art, and biblio of Frida so when I thought of coming to CDMX, I wanted to visit her home and see firsthand where she was and where the artist did her magic. It's a must-see!! Our tour guide was Ruben and he was so knowledgeable of everything. So sweet. He allowed me to interrupt and ask questions that came to mind. I suggest you watch the Frida movie with Salma H before to get a basic understanding of her story. The exhibition is not big but what they do have, is incredible. There is SO much detail in every room if you take the time to appreciate the nuances. The House itself is huge and the garden so pretty! They charge $30 pesos to be allowed to take photos with your phone otherwise you're not allowed to. Weird. I highly recommend this tour. I stayed in Polanco and got an Uber ride out here. A bit far but so worth it. It was like 40 mins with traffic. The tour was just my partner, tour guide, and me. So personalized.
- Peter F00Great walking tourGreat way to learn about the city. Our first time to PV, glad we did it. Isabella was very knowledgeable and very pleasant.
- jordantJ2743XM00A fun and informative tour!Neene was our tour guide! She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly with us. Any questions we had regarding Frida or Diego’s house, she knew the answer. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a fun and informative tour!
- Olga A00What a delight!Street art tour is he best way to explore neighborhoods of Cancun, since being such a young city it cannot offer much signature places in terms of history or architecture. But the artistic arena is great and this tour helped us to discover Cancun from new perspective by enjoying masterpieces of local and international artists through graffiti and murals. Michelle, our guide, who is an artist herself took good care of us introducing us to the vibrant forms and colors of the Cancun’s street art scene. Highly recommended if you’d like to treat yourself with something more than only beach life :)
- JFBSF00Private Mexico Coity Murals Tour with NeeneHad a wonderful tour with Neene. I highly recommend her. The murals of Diego Rivera and others were simply awesome to see. More important, Neene had a depth of knowledge and passion that made the experience. She skillfully wove the story of the murals into the log history and culture of Mexico and as a result enriched not only this tour, but our whole trip to Mexico. As we toured other areas and events we thought back to the messages of Neene and how they also applied to other experiences in Mexico. A great tour.
- Karen C00Tour company ghosted us. Do not book.City Art Tours was a no-show. Despite getting copies of tickets and notifications throughout the day, when we arrived at the museum our tickets had been cancelled. There was no notice given, not any answer when we called. When we reached out to Viator/Trip Advisor they confirmed that our tickets had been cancelled, and that they have no ability to offer solutions. A major disappointment.
- 99cocob00Great experience!Neene was an awesome tour guide! The place is beautiful we learned a lot and had a great experience! Highly recommend!
- rosalynb13500Viator's private guided tour of Soumaya Museum in Mexico CityWe booked this tour through Viator expecting to have someone with the knowledge of the amazing collection in this museum to guide us through and provide us with the information about the works of art displayed there. We did not get the tour. We just had a chaperone who followed us around and then took a picture with us in the end. We contacted Viator asking for a refund but they refused on the basis of the fact that the "guide" showed up and had a picture to prove it. It was a complete waste of $130. The friends of ours who took that tour before us had a very similar experience. We would not recommend it to anybody. The museum is incredible and can be enjoyed without an expensive "chaperone".
